Saiya frowned. "I'm not so sure about that. I'm a known Jumper they may be expecting me to rely on my stronger points and take to a roof. Jumpers don't do so good in crowds cause it's harder for us to get escape when we're surrounded by people instead of buildings." She pointed out.

"Hmmmm... But you are with a known guide who has a reputation of bringing people to the festival." he pointed out as they reached the ramp and started up it.

Saiya nodded but was still unsure. It was safer to be out of the crowds though, if she were to slip into one of her blackouts there was no telling where she would end up and they had a meeting to go to.

Reaching the rooftop they were given a view of a network of bridges connecting roofs in a mirror image of the roads below. Flowers and plants grew along the pathways as fountains sprinkled water onto them in the moonlight. "Told you it was scenic." he muttered, guiding them through the walkways.

Saiya was taken back by the appearance. "I can honestly say I've never run across any rooftops like this in the city." She said breathlessly as she walked with him and took in the beaty around her.

"See, the country's not so bad." Kai teased her, enjoying walking with her under the open sky. He hoped they'd have more nights like this after all this was over.

Saiya laughed and hit him playfully. "You grow up listening to the stories my grandmother told with the power I have and see what your apt to believe." She countered. "I never thought it would be so beautiful." She said with a sigh as she tilted her head back to take in the stars.

He chuckled as he guided them across the first bridge. "You shouldn't believe all the stories you hear." Kai stated, barely containing a smile.

Saiya snorted. "Tell that to a scared child locked in a closet for something she can't control." She told him sadly as she kept her eyes on the stars.

Kai wrapped an arm around Saiya as they continued to walk. "I'm sorry." he muttered, kissing her neck to comfort her. He didn't like the idea of her being treated like that, not one bit.

Saiya laughed slightly. "Remind me and I'll share after this is all said and done." She promised. "Only fair after all, you told me about your past." Cuddling into his hold on her she took the comfort he offered.

"Deal." he replied, wrapping his arm around her a bit more securely as they crossed another bridge. "Though technically I have a good 426 years worth of past over you." Kai pointed out.

Saiya laughed and poked him in the ribs. "Humans don't live that long. You'll have to make due with my mere 22 years. Old man." She teased as she ignored the couple passing them.

Kai tried to fake a frown as he rubbed his side. "I'm not that old." he muttered. He suddenly froze though when the girl that had passed them called out his old name in question as she stopped her companion.
