Log 2, book 3
Our journey continues. We stoped in a town called Veil, Kagura's old hometown. We found her old house, and that was occupied by a familiar face, Chaz, a fellow Drow. He is probably partly of the Light Kindred, like myself, I remember him from very early on in the war, in the tavern. He was the first person I talked to. He and rafeal are becoming good friends I think.
After we settled in for the night, Kagura fell ill. Hakura showed up, and she and Duri went to seek a cure in the nearby mountains. I decided to follow them in case if the situation became dangerous. And it did.
First, we were attacked by a pair of beasts, and i killed them both. Kagura's father also decided to make an appearance. We fought with him as well.
This is where it gets a little wierd. We were teleported to some ghost town. Rafeal and i were singled out, and put in some kind of bubble of dark energy. We battled there with his brother, Zethriel. It did not end well, Rafeal was stabbed, and as a result, his lung collapsed and he lost a lot of blood. I used my own healing techniques to keep him alive until we got to a hospital. He was on death's door when they took him out of my arms....
Thankfully, my love is alright. He made it through the day anyway. He is functioning now, I talked to him this morning. Zethriel stabbed him, apparently meaning to stop his heart, but he mised by a mere fraction of an inch. Rafeal had been hurt worse before, so it just goes to show me my boyfriend is pretty hard to kill. He has a will to live I guess.
He saw his mother in a vision, it just shows how bad it was... his mother is dead, or at least he thinks so. She seemed like a nice lady, for one of the Valeresso. Rafeal had loved his mother as much as I loved my family. We both have people to avenge now, and eye for an eye. We'll kill Zethriel together. I hope he enjoys his time in Hell, I do not pity him, and I do not mourn him.
I love Rafeal so much.... I don't know what I would do without his love and companionship. ... Spiral downward possibly? He is the only one who has kept me together, and kept me sane.... right when I found him, I may have been going crazy. Heh, I was a bit of a wild woman when I found him, eccentric. But that is another story.
