((HEY! kisses are good! They keep you healthy! blaugh I love kisses! ^^ ))

Yue stepped back and his fingers trailed down her arms. she was worried, she was confused. But not nearly as much so as he was. Was she regretting her actions already. The 'I'm sorry' made that clear. Juromaru smiled. It was always the same. He dropped his hands to his sides and then folded them across his chest.

"I can understand, I guess everyone's not as in tune with their emotions as myself." He laughed trying to hide what pain showed on his face.

"Besides it's really one of those times where you get to say: 'If you love mne you'll wait.' And I can do that."

Juromaru turned around and walked to the doors of the theatre. As he passed by her he could feel her gaze. Pity maybe, definite confusion, there was so much to humans. As he walked past the tattoo on his back was glowing a faint orange. Under the phoenix's talons was a moon. It wasn't nearly as beautiful as the true one. But it glistened with it's own light, a faint blue. When he got to the doors to the theatre he turned around to Yue, who was still standing on stage.

"And like you said, even if you have nothing, you always have the moon..."
He opened the doors and stopped after taknig a step.

"Take all the time you need, Yue-hime."

Yue could tell that Juromaru was hurt by what she had said... done. It was a dam shame that this has happened the way it did. She was slightly taken aback at his comment. 'If you love me you'll wait for me', and he will wait for me? she wondered if that meant he thought he loved her. Yue defidently couldnt say the same. She loved none other than her beloved moon.

Composing herself she made her way top the kitchen where her soup was finishing cooking. Little Chibi looked happy to see her chirping jubilantly at her re-appearance. She scooped her up in her fingers and grabbed a bowl witch she filled with broth and tender vegetables. She herself was opting to skip the chicken due to how similar it was to her beloved new pet but she was more than happy to pull it from the broth and feed it to Chibi who was yet again hungry her gullet only half full.

Returning to the Mezzanine she stripped out of her clothing and placed Chibi in a nest of flames she had quickly started inside the ceramic bowl she had been eating her soup out of. The ceramic would stay warm and keep the fire under control. Her bed was a mattress on the floor. It was tightly packed with soft down and the sheets were purple silk. She wrapped herself up in them glad to be lying there feeling their silky embrace once again. IT had been months since she had been in her own bed.

All of the luscious bedding had been stolen on a rather successfully mission to a town a couple of hours away. It had all been so nice she couldnt help but return during the night to clean the place out of anything that caught her fancy. Her last mission out had been much less successful though she wasn't going to let this deter her from going out. IT was about time to get going on improving the old mezzanine for herself. The open doors were covered in mesh opaque curtains and the floor was a soft carpeting already.

In the back she had removed a few rows of seats where her bed and dresser stood. She decided that it was time to get herself more than a mattress, she would find herself some type of bed post things. Yes, that would be nice.

Yue had the plan laid out in her mind- she would leave in the morning before the sun came up with Chibi. They would travel to Rhomdo a small city about three hours away. Wile there she would pose as a noble- stay in a nice inn perhaps even let herself be escorted around by young men who's attentions she caught, lord knows she wanted a piece of something she was used to after that unexpected run in with Juromaru, and then upon finding what she wanted she would buy it and have it sent to the town where she had been just previously that day. Then after she was satisfied she would go on a spree and take what else she pleased, money , jewels, anything from the towns pompous citizens and shops.

Pleased her eyes finally closed beneath her chrysalis of purple silk.

Waking up an hour or so before sunrise Yue was ready to go. She grabbed her many valuable trinkets and money and got dressed in her new rabbit lined dress. Grabbing the sleeping Chibi and holding her to her breast she wade her way down the steps into the main theater. The suns light was just a glow on the horizon- she would be in the city by the time its early morning bustle began, around eight or nine.

The twilight air was chilly even through her warm dress and she thought of Juromaru momentarily. Her thoughts left her was a strange sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach. Something about how everything wasn't right and she knew it. Not even the moons lingering beams in the early morning light were enough to raise her glaring suspicions and guilt.

Juromaru was laying in the hamock in his room. He'd gone outside after his confrontation with Yue, he couldn't find anything to keep him occupied. He had walked around for hours devoid of thought. He could almost feel her. He was beginning to wonder if it was the necklace that he could feel...

That was just stupid, you couldn't feel someone's emotions or where they are through a necklace. He shook his head. He had watched her leave with Chibi.

"Oh...no! You don't need to-that is-" Nadeshiko fell into an embarassed silence. Taketo looked...guilty. That was new. "Well, Taketo-niisan...really, I wasn't offended at all," she began, "You were probably really worried about something, and plus that happened. If it was me, I probably would have really freaked out and cried or something. I...admire you, Taketo-niisan."

Taketo listened intentively as Nadeshiko responded with her utmost sincerity. He stepped down the theatre entrance stairs and nodded slowly. Then the words slowly spilled out from her lips.

"I admire you...Taketo"

He was a little stunned to hear such a wonderful compliment from a fellow thief. Taketo was a bit older than most of them, but he never figured the least bit of admiration from the rest of the group. Not even from the younger thieves. Taketo stood downtraught, but he regathered himself and nodded in approval returning to his normal solemn appearance.

"Thank you, no one has never really admired me...but hey I'll let you get back to your training. I need to go help Yue with this next mission anyhow. Thanks again..."

Taketo slowly turned around and headed back up the steps. His feet were beginning to feel heavy as the events that recently happened kept replaying like a bad slideshow. As he ascended the stairs, the slow silence fell over the outside of the theatre just as snow was falling from the delicate night sky. He walked across the porch of the theatre placing his hand on the door. Opening into a portal where he'd just turn back into his normal self, but for some reason he stood frozen. He didn't want to just leave Nadeshiko behind on that note, but his own mind was getting to him. Taketo's heart began to pound heavily just as he was trying to push through the threshold of the theatre door. He slowly pushed open the door, not knowing what to expect for his next endeavor.

What a day this has turned out to be...I really just need to go on this mission. Nadeshiko...why was it so hard to just apologize to you?

((-continues previous post-))

Juromaru just sighed and grabbed his armor. He placed it over his body. He shook his hair back onto place and tied his belt around his waist. Kiba was secured at his waist behind him. He looked around his room. Silk tapestries in hues of orange, red, yellow, violet, blue, and black gently flowed in the wind. He smiled as he turned to the hammok that he used as a bed. There was a blanket embrodiered with silver thread. He looked under the hammock and at his collection of personal treasures. Every prescious metal was silver. Silver goblets encrusted with various jewels, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings. If there was anything you could pu ton your body, Juromaru had it.

He smiled as he ran his left hand across the hilt of his sword, Kiba. He had taken and crushed many beautiful jewels into dust, at the dismay of many of the theives, but he knew what he was doing, he had infused the jewels into his blade. No one had scene it, but Kiba's flame wasn't red. Kiba's flame burned with what color best fit the surrondings. Black, white, purple... He smiled and stroked his blade.

He walked slowly back down to the main hall of the theatre. He was ignoring aura's, he wanted to have fun this time. He was going to use senses to discover people. But that was on the mission.

"Come on, people. Kiba wants blood. Who's got something to do?" Jurumaru looked around trying to see if anyone would take his offer.

"Come on..."

Nia watched Hamani leave without saying anything. So much the better that she was gone, now she could focus on the task at hand without having to worry about Hamani looking over her shoulder. She got up and followed Hamani to the end of the corridor, when Hamani was gone she closed the door and locked it. She went back to her room and sat down again. Let’s think, we need the blood of a high priest. The only place to acquire this is indeed in Ahuian, but just running in there and killing him isn’t a very good idea. First of getting close to him will not be as easy as it seems, and second they will not just forget something like this. No, I need to plan this well, even better than normal contracts. Although Nia never had done many contracts she had done enough to know she didn’t like them. They served no purpose but to answer to the feelings of revenge the contractor had against the target, or for their personal gain. That’s why she usually did missions only for herself, in her time, for her reasons. She never asked other to join on her missions either, although they all possessed unique skills she just didn’t like having to take make sure they did as was needed or give them the idea she owed them anything. She didn’t need them anyway, her own skills were more than sufficient.

(( Ew. Romance. *Shivvers* Sorry for the short post.))

Aoki caught up to her sister after almost two hours on running full-speed. Huffing and stummbling, Aoki held out her hand and tripped into the snow.

"Sh-Shi-Shin-onee-chan! Wait up! To... Much... Running! KILL me!"

Breathing heavily, she wondered if her sister would stop. They were so close to the village already, almost two days ahead of what it usually took them, depsite how late they had been.

'A week late, I hope Employer-san doesn't get pissed.'

[Okay, I'm officially confused. Lirdianc plays both Tomoyo and Nadeshiko... but Taketo likes Tomoyo and now he also likes Nadeshiko? What is up with that? Uhm, Nadeshiko's, like, 14, he's like 18... is that not disturbing? He’s also cheating on Tomoyo with the same person who plays her! That makes no sense, you guys!! DX]

Shinobu ran her fingers through her long silvery tresses. Her digits found their way to the back of her neck and glided across the bone there, massaging and calming her nerves. She could feel Aoki's presence nearing, and another somewhat familiar aura kicking in the distance. At first she thought it to be another immortal thief, but that couldn't be, no one, spare Aoki, was to accompany her on this mission. Aoki knew that, and she would not tolerate another tag-along.

They're just a waste of time, I ought to-

"Milady, would you like anything from the bar?" a male server, smiling politely and bowing deeply, stopping as he made his rounds, asked Shinobu.

She looked at him with a vacant expression for a moment, trying to think about his question, and then settled on an answer.

"A small bitter sake, if you would, with ice please." she requested, hoping she wouldn't be paying for it the next morning.

[S'alright mar, just pleez hurry and get to the inn so we can get on with this.]

((Hey Eddy...my character's 19 and Nadeshiko is 16....but even after that my character doesn't like anyone openly at the moment because Tomoyo (atleast I believe so) is just flat out not even noticing him which is what set him to go where they used to 'hang out.' Taketo was also just apologizing to Nadeshiko. Taketo is going through some radical changes because of the incident that happened upon his return. Sorry if my character is a little confusing, he is hard to read after all. ^^))

[Sorry, going after one character played by someone and then another played by the same person is just odd to me, but, then again, you guys cook up some weird a** romances...]

With Shinobu now out of sight, and her tag-along sister Aoki quickly approaching the small inn, Izumo had to settle upon some plan of action. Most certainly they would spend the night, rest, sort things out, and leave in the morning. Of this, he was certain. How he was to maintain his ever-vigilante watch over Shinobu, though, was another matter. He couldn't very well walk in and expose himself; to do so would be a foolish endeavor. Nor could he be certain that his cloak, even wound around his body in an effort to disguise himself, would help any if he so chose to enter the building. However, at the same time, he couldn't very well peer in through a window, into whatever room the two would be given. To do so would be... indecent, by any standards. Izumo would not stand for it. The problem, then, was apparent. There was no certainty in monitoring her should she stay the night. Should he enter the inn, there was no guarantee she'd leave by conventional means. They were, after all, thieves, there was no saying whether or not Shinobu and Aoki would simply slip through a window, evading a bill, and Izumo in the process. Likewise, there was no guarantee they would.

Solving such a problem was not going to be as simple as he'd hoped. It was in his good fortune, then, that while fidgetting in uncertainty, Izumo stumbled across a small trinket he'd picked up on his own travels and misadventures. The device itself was by no means ordinary, and to this day Izumo had seen only few like it. Together as a whole, it looked only as a small bead, attached to the end of a small rod (not longer, but thicker than a toothpick) by means of a piece of bluish thread. The bead, though, was pulled apart from the string rather easily. What made it a trinket, and not just childish rubbish, was that once the bead was removed, the bluish thread, if left alone, pointed always in the direction of the bead. Such... worthless materials, Izumo had found, had been imbued with some small magical essence which served to allow its bearer to easily find the bead, or, he knew, whatever was carrying it. In essence, it served as a way to easily track something, or, he noted, someone.

The only problem Izumo had to face now, was figuring out where, and how, he was to plant the small bead. Even as he had followed Shinobu, he had notice she carried little, though what she did carry was bundled securely. Should he be able to plant it within he belongings, he had no doubt it would be safe. Seeing now her sister, Aoki, Izumo noted that which she carried was in a much less orderly fashion. To plant the bead on her would be an error; since she could easily lose anything, losing the bead was not so unthinkable. Settling on his decision then, Izumo could only see one course of action: during the night he would slip into Shinobu's room, plant the small bead within her things, and wait for the morning. Then, no matter whether he witnessed her departure or missed it, he would be able to follow.

Such a nuisance, Izumo had determined, to remain hidden when all he wanted was to be seen.

((....Life's a pain in the a** and got in the way. I'm replying now.))

Kosho looked at Fai for a moment longer, before shrugging. "You better follow me; I'm taking your silence as affirmation that you can handle this." She said, then turned and walked towards the path. She stopped by a tree, placing a hand on the thick base quietly. "I'm taking to the branches, got it Fai? You follow me however you wish; just don't do anything stupid." She said, looking back at him over her shoulder. "...Like sing. Because then I'd have to rip your vocal cords out."

Fai laughed softly as Kosho lept to the trees, before he walked after her, jumping into the branches and following behind her every step of the way. "I think I'll take to the trees as well; that way we won't be ambushed by mortal thieves who think they're being tricky." He said, watching her hair whip behind her as she ran, the dangerous weapon on her back gleaming. He sighed, hands lazily at his sides as he ran. The woman in front of him seemed so cold...

Tomi looked up as he felt a presence search for him, scowling as he felt the brushes of that woman...Saku, who used magic fire as her attack. He snorted, standing up and grabbing his katana as he placed it at his hip, running his fingers through his hair briefly. He couldn't stay in his chambers for much longer; if he tried that, he would surely fall into the deepest pit of his insanity that he hadn't ventured yet, and inwardly he feared the outcome of doing that. Who knew what he would find?

Yuki then turned to the HQ again, looking up briefly as he felt presences pass him quickly in the trees; was that Kosho and Fai? Shaking his head, he slowly headed back for the theatre, wondering if he could find something to do. There was almost nothing to do; maybe he would venture out and...Speak with someone? That was a thought.

((Tomoyo's mainly ignoring Taketo because she's a little afraid of what might happen if she does. It's willful oblivion.))

Tomoyo blinked heavy eyelids open, staring at the ceiling. She had cried herself to sleep...for the first time in...never. The sudden release had cleared her head, and given her purpose. Lurching up, she walked over to the wardrobe on the other side of the room, a creation of dark mahogany and copper inlay. She slid her hand over the handle, letting a finger slip over a hidden latch. The doors opened seamlessly, having been diligently greased every month with oil.

Inside, there was a stack of linen neatly folded and stored in the bottom left corner, but that was the only fabric in the wardrobe. The rest was nealy divided by wood panels, each section for a specific purpose. Tomoyo reached for the middle right shelf, filled with rolls of parchment tied with midnight blue ribbons and wax seals. Selecting one, she pulled it out and smoothed it flat on her desk. It was about time she went on a mission.

*~*

Whatever composure Nadeshiko had left disappeared. He thanked you, she thought, astonished, as Taketo trudged back to the theater. An elated grin spread across her face from this simple delight. He had absolutely no reason to, but he had done it. Taketo-niisan, if there's anyone I look up to, it'd have to be you, Nadeshiko realized. You noticed me, you worried, you actually came back to apologize to me...

...If it was possible, I'd want you to be my brother, Taketo-niisan.

Tao had finally, at freaking LAST come up from his labrynth-like room. "About freaking time I get some personal-time." He said yawning, he had taken a good long time to meditate, think things over, forge a few new things, and sleep... mostly sleep.

Coming back up he closed the trap-door down to his room and streached while looking around.

"Now... lets go track everyone down..."
