[Fira the Phoenix]

Fira paused at the hallway that suddenly split into two ways. She held her staff up to help dimly light the hall and looked down both as far as she could in the dark. Though she wanted to go and follow the dark beast and see where exactly he was going the light from the other path intrigued her more and so she turned down the path that had the inviting light at the end.

What could Z do? He looked at Rachael's limp body, trying to hear something from her thoughts, but he knew better. It was childish to think that she was coming back from a mortal wound as such. Then he had a thought. He could bring her back. But he would have to get her body out of here first.

"How..."

That was the first step. He looked around, looking for something her could use to atleast get him out of here so he could get back to his base of operations, back to the Jarians.

Z's grip on the hole in Rachael's body gaveway as he looked around. He picked up Rachael's shoulders and began dragging her over to small tree, letting her body rest agenst the tree as he looked around. He didnt notice, but Rachael's face didnt have a look of surprise or fear on it. It seemed peaceful.

Z sat down next to Rachael as he looked up and saw the flag. He caught it in his mind and pulled it open so he could see it clearly. His knees came up to his chest and his arms wrapped around them.

What to do...

His forehead tapped on his knees before he looked up at the flag to get a good long look at whatever it was that was on the flag.

Z grew frustrated with it and simply ripped it off, forcefully, with his mind and brought it to himself. He took ahold of the flag in his hands once it got in arms length and looked at the design. He cocked his head trying to make sense of it.

But his mind was wandering at the same time. He was deciding on how to get Rachael's body down and out of here. He hadnt even taken the time to check which floor he was on. Which was probably a bad idea. Had he known he was in one of the probbly more dangerous parts of the library, he would have made sure Rachael's blood hadnt been soaking the tree behind her as well as the floor beneath.

Z probably would have kept going instead of resting also. But right now, he was trying to figure out the puzzle of the flag that he held in his hands.

Z shrugged. He didnt know nor did he care what it symbolized. He wouldnt figure it out untill later either what it ment. Z laid the black cloth on Rachael's legs as he took a deep breath and sighed.

I wish I had some coco-chips...

He was hungry. He was worried about what he was going to do. He almost let himself become afraid. Almost. Thats when he stood up. He looked down to Rachael's body and nodded.

"Im getting you out of here and giving you life again... R..."

He had decided. He wasnt going to stop until he got out of the library and back to the relative safety of the base.

((Fira, I wasnt sure if you are moving towards Z, so Im trying to kinda stall until I am sure. But you are more then welcome to join Z in his daring escape.))

Kasark followed Fira down the smaller hallway, moving towards the light, looking at Kokoro as he went.

((Oh yea I have been keeping track. I just wasnt sure if somewhere I, or they, might have gotten mixed up. It happens to me every blue moon or so. But yea... Anyways))

Z nodded and looked around again. Well it now seemed like it was going to be harder to find a way out. He looked down at Rachael's body. She wasnt going anywhere so he started to walk around, trying to find a way out. When one door closes, another door opens. Or so Z hoped anyways.  

[Faulty Ambition]

The narrow hallway seemed to quell the lights carried by the trio even further, until the lights they held seemed almost useless compared to the dim light from far off ahead.
The ceiling in this hall was lower, too, just grazable with a fingertip if one were to reach up.
The walls were made of what appeared to be slatted wood nailed across horizontally. They did not seem to be the strongest walls in the building, but that was no matter. The light ahead seemed to be beckoning, the scent of a beautiful summer's day wafting down the darkened hallway.

There was nothing further on the ledge with Z and his late friend.
At least the wind seemed good.
But was he ready to take a leap of faith?
