Siegfried nodded once, holding Chirs over his shoulder. "Then up we go." Taking the stairs one at a time, he found that they could support his weight. Taking them more confidently, he looked over his shoulder to see that Emily was following. Luckily the butler had talked to the house so it wouldnt attack him and his companions. Though he wondered about that as well. He can talk to it..?

Emily nodded and followed as they started the climb. She had picked the easiest, safest and fastest way up, not wanting to run into anything. She didn’t care if there was the desecrated dead in the house, she just didn’t want to see it. She tugged at her neck before sighing and clutching her hands together behind her. “Continue up till the second landing.” She said, but she couldn’t be sure he would hear her here.

Siegfried did hear her however. Walking to what he thought was the second landing, he looked at her. "Is this it, the second landing?" He wondered at that point how many floors this place had. The butler made mention of 4 floors, but the stairs looked like they continued onward. Weird house...

Emily blinked up, having been watching the stairs for protruding nails and such, and looked around Siegfried. “No. . . Next one.” She said, fixing her gaze on the floor again.

"Alright, next one it is." Continuing up the stairs, Siegfried noticed she was looking at the floor. For what I wonder. Seeing a nail a couple of steps above him, he knew why. He began to watch for nails and such as well. Finally he got to the next landing.

“Here.” She said, looking out at the landing, and the door that blocked their exit. She stepped forward to open it since Siegfried had his hands full, and pulled the sliding door open, wincing as she walked into the room. It was another bedroom, grander then the ones they had seen before besides the she had been trapped in. she looked up at Siegfried and cocked her head, wondering what they were to do now.

"First off we put this little lady here." Siegfried put Chris in the bed, pulling the covers over her. He turned towards Emily with his hands on his hips. "Next we should search the area. Take a look at whats here and see if its spooked filled or not." He went over to the bookcase, looking over the various books. Everything here is better kept than the rest of the house. I wonder if something is keeping this part clean..

Emily sighed, and slide the door shut again, making it look like part of the wall. She rubbed her left foot across the floor, wincing before turning to the room fully. There were three other doors, one to a bathroom, another to a closet and the last to the rest of the house. She moved over to the farthest wall, and opened that last door to a small hallway that led to another large room. “here.” She said, turning back to Siegfried.

Looking at Emily then the door, Siegfried nodded and gestured for Emily to continue. He got behind her and rested his right hand near his revolver, just in case of any attacks.

Emily started down the hallway, walking slower than was normal for her. There were a few doors, but she ignored them, and walked out to the larger room, which confused her. There was a large table in the center, two love seats on both sides, and a full couch at the head. Off in a corner though was a large mahogany desk, papers strewn about.

Siegfried looked around the room, wondering where the head was. "It appears to be an office of some sort." Walking behind the desk, he picked up several of the papers. He couldnt make out what they were all about, but they seemed to be papers dealing with several experiments and costs. "Emily, come here and look at this papers. Maybe there is something here about this house." Picking up more papers, he read them quietly, his uncovered eye reading line after line.

Emily’s one eye strayed all over the room as she walked over, and finally she looked at the papers all over the desk. She leaned against the desk, picking one of the papers up upside-down and looked it over before putting it down. “I can’t read.” She said, picking up another, avoiding looking at Siegfried.

Siegfried blinked, then resumed reading. "Thats alright little lady. Thats alright." He pick up one paper and his face paled visibly. "What in the name of....?" Putting the paper down quickly, he turned around quickly and put his hands on the wall. He almost puked.

Emily nodded and put the paper down, her sleeve dragging over the desk, but she froze and turned her head sharply at Siegfried’s sudden exclamation. Her hand picked up the paper, but the scribbles didn’t make any sense to her. “What?” she asked, turning to him and coming over. her eye was narowed at the sudden danger, and she forwned up at him in concern. “What is it?”

Looking at Emily, Siegfried shook his head. He needed a bit more time to calm down. What is that doing here?!?! Finally getting his head on straight, he picked up the paper and showed it to her. "This is a Seal of Despair. Ive only come across plans for it a couple of times. I havent seen it actually work, but from what I have read its bad.."
