Aha, right now I'm liking our freak weather.. but that's because it's like 20C warmer than what is expected around this time of year where I live.

It's sooo much better. Water freezes at 0 and boils at 100. =D And it goes up at the same rate at Kelvin.

Lol 0 and 100 are plenty specific. Celcius is based on water which is pretty much the universal solvent on earth so it just makes sense. Plus kelvin is what the science community uses and it's much easier to convert Celsius to Kelvin and back just add or subtract 273.15 respectively. =P

Face it, the metric system wins.

SCIENCE COMMUNITY wins cause their system goes up at the same rate. Quit defending your country's crappy system. It's out of date and makes mathing stuff out more difficult. Same with your measurements.

It was actually based off the coldest and hottest day in london when who ever made it up...decided he would make it up xD
And then he made the coldest day 0 and the hottest day 100.
