Mae could see that everyone was gathering around Damian.
It her a good minute to stand up then another to wobble over to the group.
"Wah happen to Dam-e-ann? " She asked,looking down at him.

Jace rubbed the back of his neck in a sad but akward motion
" Well.....i didn't mean to say i was going to kill him.." Jace muttered looking down he stepped back

Lena finally gave up and hugged Nikolai while sobbing.
Dragon blinked and tilted his head in curiousity. Why Mommy sad? he asked.
"He died." Roy muttered to Mae and tossed her a pill. "It's pretty dangerous taking a lot of pain killers, you know." he tried to lighten the mood, but failed.
((kill my little armageddon? eek hmmmmmmmm, i dunno. there might be others who wanna kill him, too. uh, we'll see over time. 3nodding ))

Mae froze.
He....died.
died = dead
dead = no longer living.
no longer living = forever gone.
Damian forever gone = sad
Since she was drugged up,she couldn't really comprehend anything for a the moment.
She frowned then look a the pill.
Without saying anything ,she pointed to her hand that held the pill,questioning what it was.

" I'm sorry...." Jace said looking at the others with a sad look on his face
he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.
Valentine sighed and walked over to them

"It should cancel out most of the pain killer's effects." Roy muttered and thought about something. Mae and Damian stuck around together a lot. She might need those pain killers more than she thinks... He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Jace. "Sorry? For what?" he asked softly. "You didn't kill him." he said and looked over at Lena, feeling sorry for her.

Mae slowly took the pill ,drinking from a new bottle.
It took a few minutes before she was somewhat alright.
She groaned.
"I feel a little dizzy.. but i think it will wear off." She mumbled.
She stood up,stumbling a bit before looking at Roy.
"Thanks!.. Seriously! Painkillers affect me differently than others.. kind of. I swear I was hallucinating! I kept hearing that Damian died" She laughed,not thinking it was true.
She groaned again,getting dizzy.

Valentine sighed and crossed his arms
he looked at the other boys
" Demetri and Vincent get over here..." Valentine said sighing
Demetri smiled and walked over to them
he waved a small hello to Roy and the others
" Something up...." Demetri asked

Mae stopped laughing and stared at Roy.
"...No." She simply said,not believing it.
"He can't be dead,h-he was just here.." She said,sounding scared.
"No, He's not." She said,stating it as a fact.
"Damian?" She yelled and looked around,worried and wanting to prove Roy wrong.

Roy looked away, unable to look at all the sadness anymore. His lavender eyes slowly lowered to where Damian's body was.

Mae followed his eyes.
She then gasped,running towards Damian.
"No.. no! " She harshly whispered.
She looked up.
"How... did this happen?" She asked,holding him in her arms.

Roy took a deep breath, deciding on how to explain it. "Johan... was going to kill you.... but Damian.... Damian..... He took the blow for you." he said, his voice breaking a few times. "He died protecting you." he said softly and closed his eyes to keep the tears in.
Damian's body was cold except for the heat around his heart, where the lightning shot him. His eyes were still opened, showing his surprised, yet sad, silver eyes. Almost as if he knew he'd die.
