yup.. amaterasu is the dog with black ink... which look exactly like the amaterasu flames...
and shiranui is the dog with green-ish blue, and reddish-orange flames. shiranui is amaterasu.. but shiranui died.
and so a noob version of shiranui was born.. amaterasu

Hard to explain.
Basically... Shiranui = normal dog who ascended to being a god by killing Orochi.
Shiranui then dies to those 2 giant owls.
Orochi is reborn thanks to Susanoo's son... and thus Shiranui becomes reborn too.
As Amaterasu. Which is basically an incomplete version of Shiranui. Even at the end of the game, your power pales in comparison to Shiranui, because she has upgraded versions of everything.

Too Human was an xbox game or something...they took a norse god iand put him in space or some s**t, i didnt really pay attention to detail
but in norse myth, when Baldur's mum was pregent with him, she went to all the creatures and elements of earth and asked them nicely not to hurt him. They ll agreed, Baldur turned out to be a sissy, loki made a new element, threw it at baldur and he died...
sidenote: the new element was mistletoe
