Lance pulled a guitar pick from between the strings, placed one hand near the top of the neck of the guitar and the other with the pick above the second string at the bottom. Then, he began playing, a soft song, smiling up at her. He had written the song long ago to lull tired human girls to sleep before he bit them. It wasn't that he had to do that, but rather because it was good practice.

Leora smiled as he started to play. She moved so that she was behind him and then wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his shoulder. "That's really pretty Lance . . ." she murmured as she closed her eyes and let the music wash over her.

"Well, I'm in the middle of writing an even better one. I think I'll name it after you." He said with a loving smile at her as he kissed her softly on the cheek and continued to play the enchanting lullaby on the ebony wood acoustic guitar.

Leora smiled. "You don't need to do that . . ." she muttered. "I'm happy just listening to you play . . ." she said softly and then turned her head to kiss his neck gently.

Lance smiled even wider at her as he felt Leora kissing his neck. "I know I don't need to, but I want to, for you. As long as you're happy, I'm happy." He said softly and soothingly.

Leora giggled lightly. "Then I'll be happy as often as I can . . . All I want is for you to be happy . . ." she said with a bit of a sigh.
Kailee poked her head around a corner. "You two are being mushy again!" she accused, making a face. She seemed to have gotten over her fear of Lance . . .
Leora couldn't help but laugh at her sister's outburst. She really was just a kid.

When he heard Kailee's voice around the corner, he lost concentration and stopped playing the enchanting song as he looked at her and chuckled along with his beloved wife. "Well, I guess that's just how new couples are, right?" He asked Leora, her head still resting on his shoulder.

Leora smiled at Lance. "I guess so . . ." she said lovingly and then turned her head to kiss him lovingly on the lips.
Kailee made a face. "Eeeeeewwwww!!" she complained and then ran off. "Mooooooom!!! Lance and Leora are kissing!!!" she whined.

Lance ignored Kailee's complaints and set the guitar on the floor before wrapping his arms around Leora and began deepening the kiss and making it more passionate.

Leora smiled into the kiss as Lance wrapped his arms around her and she gladly allowed him to deepen it. In return, she wrapped her arms around his neck and started playing with the ends of his hair.
