Well, my name is supposed to be Yuhan (Pronounced YOU-han), but I get a lot of YO-han, Yuh-HARN, Yu-HON, Yuan (which is exteedingly embarassing because it is a boys' name), YO-hon, You-HARN, Yuh-han and a load of others that I can't even remember.
@ Yalie: This is my 5th school (including all my primary schools), and I keep saying that I will visit when I leave them, but I never do! (At this point, my friend would say "Oh really? How sad, What a shame".) xD

I've had a lot of trouble with people pronouncing my name as well. Not my first name, which is easy to pronounce and spell in both english and Chinese. But my surname stumps anyone who isn't Chinese: Try to pronounce Xu correctly. If you pronounce it by its correct pinyin, it sounds like "She", which is gay a** when said in English. Alternative English pronouciations render it as "Shoe" or "Zoo", which made me the butt of many nicknames and jokes when I was in high school. I think it would be good if I somehow changed my surname completely, if I somehow become famous.
@Liani Vine: Wow, you've had five changes of school? That's even more than I had (I went to two different primary schools and two different high schools). Like you, I haven't returned to my previous schools once, except for my last high school, which I had fond memories of. It's especially sad because the few times I've bumped into former schoolmates of mine, I had virtually forgotten who they were, even though they remember me perfectly.
@Niph: Nadal beat Federer? At Wimbledon? Are you serious? eek Holy s**t I'm going to have to check the news.
