"When mom caugth influenza das staid with her,Suna and I had to go hunting by ourselves.Dad didnt eat for twk weeks not a single bite. When mom was good enough that dad trusted he could finally eat we went to hunt together,"Aura shook her head,"apparently mom thougth it would a good idea to follow us,me and Suna were okay but dad caugth moms scent and lost it."

"Oh, I see." said Rahvine nodding. Kind of like, how Zero would end up kind of treading the edge whenever I was hurt, and he would refuse my blood. thought Rahvine.

"He turned on mom," Aura sighed,"and he was able to take a bite out of her.By the neck a few more inches....." Aura shook her head,"me and Suna were able to scare him off,but he did not show up until a couple days later."

Rahvine nodded slowly. "I wonder why it is men do things like that? I mean not taking care of themselves because they're worried about someone else. It seems like it just ends up causing problems." said Rahvine thoughtfully.

"After we scared dad we took mom back home," Aura nodded,"we took care of the bleeding and the other scratches and cuts. Mom was much angrier at dad starvinh himself than actually getting attack by him.

"That makes sense." said Rahvine nodding. "I know I used to get pretty annoyed with Zero when he would refuse my blood just because I'd been hurt on a hunt. He'd spend a whole week having repeated 'attacks' before he'd finally give in and feed." Rahvine shook her head. "And most of the time I hadn't even been hurt badly enough where a little extra blood loss would have hurt me."

Rahvine nodded. "To be honest I guess I kind of do too." Rahvine shook her head, running a hand absently through her hair. "I guess some part of me just didn't like him treating me like some damsel in distress. After all he's the one who trained me, he knew I could handle myself."

((We won the battle with the fire elementals and Kiero is back with us again. Aura's parents were killed by Suna and Nicole at the end of the battle. We went back to Rety for a while and are now at a town called Hidison (or something close to that). Aura and I are just outside the town talking, Kiero and Forner are shopping, Baroona is getting drunk, and Caius is somewhere.))
