Land of 2984: Rise Of The Experiments (ended)

Mirage wanted to scream in annoyance from Tori basically ditching her. She crossed her arms looking really annoyed about that. "I hate being the baby in this family sometimes.." she mumbled as she ran and ducked underneath another fallen cement block since the fights were picking up. She crawled out peeking as everyone fought- though she was mostly focused on her father's fight. When it looked like he was going down...she began to shake her head. " Nonononono " she closed her eyes trying to form something with her dark matter when she heard her mother's voice. The ball of dark matter vanished as she looked up confused what was going on. "Mommy?" she whispered to herself. She haven't heard that voice in years...even then it was really faint early real early memories before her mother's death. What killed her the most was how she was only a few months old...and she remembered those months spending time with her parents before she was given away. Everything happened fast when she heard and felt the explosions around her. Not realizing where she was for a second, Mirage was thrown against another pillar. She was getting annoyed with this. I'm getting tired of this throwing me around mess...dammit! she thought. She stood up glaring as her hand as covered in her dark matter watching it swirl around. She didn't know how powerful she could be but most likely it will be a weak pulse. She threw the swirling mess and accidently hit her Uncle Cross instead her intended target-Radagast. She swore under her breathe as she took a few steps back afraid what her uncle would do to her. "Stupid child..yeah that's me..." she mumbled pulling her hair a bit.

A lone figure limped through the smoke. The female figure that caught the wolf's eye made it suddenly stop in its tracks. ANOTHER ONE? He sighed and shook his head. The surprises never ended did they? He could hear the battling in the background. He was one of very few folks who were outside the field. He could feel the battle Vincent was enduring and could hear the music from the soul of Caroline. He grunted and just kept limping toward the girl. She looked oh so familiar and he chuckled. Well he knew who she was after all. ******** ell. What is it with you kids walking up now of all times?" The wolf mumbled and stopped in front of her.

"So who are you kid?"

VS

Vincent's form slowly lifted itself up and he looked up into the air. His eyes closing as he let the rain of matter hit his skin. He sighed and ran a hand across his watery eyes. His head slowly lifted up and he looked back at the smoking crater. Vincent shook his head as he looked back around him. Where was Tori? He sighed and shook his head. She'd show herself soon enough. Vincent could guess that. Vincent chuckled and lifted himself up into the air. Landing abruptly on a pillar top he looked at the city around them that had once been the capital to there so called government. If it hadn't collapsed it had been swallowed by the power of the wind. If not by the wind it was swallowed by flames. Vincent sighed and looked back down. He could see Myseric starring back up at him. He shook his head and smirked. Resilient old b*****d Myseric was. Vincent's ears twitched as Caroline's song came to a end. He nodded to himself breifly. He knew that there was no going back on what he had agreed to with his love. Frowning he then looked back down as Myseric's form bolted at him. Throwing him Vincent then looked down at Cross and aimmed a blast of his own. Hitting Fate square in the chest and sending him flying into Cross's field.

"Consider that me making us even." Vincent spoke softly as Cross's field exploded. Fate's form had been absorbed in the explosion. Luckily it had thrown Fate onto the other side of the now closing barrier. Vincent had just in one blast surprised the young experiment and basically removed him from the fight. As smoke formed out of Fate's wounds he let out a groan and tried to turn onto his stomach. Sadly he couldn't do so. He felt Cross's matter almost like electricity flowing through his spinal cord. Fate was basically paralyzed! Cross looked up at Vincent who just shrugged at him. Unlike before Vincent didn't do it to stire Cross up but to help his brother with his situation. Cross turned back and ducked a flying knee from Zero. Vincent turned into a punch from Myseric that sent him stumbling to the side.

"That was quite unnecessary to interrupt so a kind moment Myseric. I almost bonded with my brother for a second there. Its not cool to be the party pooper every time you know. Its like someone sits there eats a bag of Doritos and then when your trying to enjoy your bag they walk up and grab it. Then later when there having issues in the bathroom everyone sits there and laughs at them. And then we get pointed out as the pricks.Vincent spoke and then Myseric rolled his eyes. The two collided and the explosion only sent matter flying by there cheeks. Vincent and Myseric then continued to trade in flashes of there matters colors. With each collision and each explosion it seemed that niether got the better of it. Then as Myseric threw a wild punch Vincent jumped over his back and sent orb of matter mid air into Myseric's back. The explosion takes up the pillar Myseric was sent into. Myseric landed with a abrupt thud as he slowly lifted his arms back up. Ready for a fight?

Myseric threw several punches but Vincent danced around them with expert speed. Unlike before there was nobody holding Vincent still. Then Vincent caught Myseric's arm and twisted it in a brief second that seemed like it had happened in even less then that. Vincent then ducked Myseric's other arm as he tried to elbow him. Trying to get Vincent off of him. Vincent then jumped up wrapping his legs around Myseric with much power being exerted. Myseric lifted his other arm punching Vincent in the gut. Vincent endured several punches. Each one causing him to tilt his head lower. Then Myseric's form finally collapsed under Vincent's legs squeezing the air out of him. Myseric tried to lift himself up to get the pressure off of his left shoulder and arm. Vincent kept the legs pumping more and more energy into squeezing the life out of Myseric's rib cage. Myseric yelped out and collapsed again. Vincent began to bend the arm back in what many fighters would call a kimura lock.

"You won't be getting out of this Myseric. I'm sorry but you brought this onto yourself. You stepped in my way and this is what I have to do to stop you from being such a a** and keeping me from fighting Cross. This isn't my fault this time old man. Just stay down or I'll break the other one too!" Vincent growled as Myseric began punching him again. Vincent could feel his rib bone breaking. Blood began to trickle down his chin from his mouth and then Vincent snapped back with as much power on Myseric's arm as he could. Myseric yelled in pain as his arm was being broken in the hold. The longer Vincent kept it on the more the bone broke. Vincent let go with a groan. Vincent rolled onto his knees and spat on the ground as he popped the rib bone back into place with his hand. He then saw Myseric trying to use his other hand to help his now broken arm. He lifted his foot and stomped on the hand. The cracking nose only followed by a startling yelp. Vincent shook his head. 4 broken fingers..and a arm that was broken in at least 4 places.

Cross's ears filled with Myseric's yell and Cross's eyes closed. He felt sorry for Myseric. Vincent had went farther then Cross would dare go. That's why Vincent was so much better suited for Prophecy's ideals. Cross knew that it wasn't like Vincent was killing Myseric but Christ. Wasn't the pain enough when he broke the guys arm in the first place? Cross shook his head and looked up. Zero was trying to heal Blaze and Cross just stood there for several minutes. His eyes watching him do it. He honestly didn't care that much. Cross sighed and he could feel that bad feeling in his gut for his son now as well. He shook his head and sighed. Well he knew it was for a good reason so oh well. He didn't have a choice in that matter. This was what he and Vincent were now responsible for and even if he didn't want to admit it. He had no choice but to follow up. Then he felt a blast hit him in the back of the head. Cross turned slowly and he sighed. He looked at Mirage and smiled sadly. He wouldn't hurt a little girl. He then looked up at Vincent and sighed. Looking down at Mirage he walked over to her and placed a hand on the top of her head ruffling her hair. Zero and Blaze could sit out for a second.

"Let's try to have better aim next time kido."

Mirage looked scared when Cross approached her. " I didn't mean to hit you I'm sorry! " she squeaked before feeling her hair being ruffled. Blinking a few times she looked up at Cross tilting her head to the side. She smiled faintly seeing that would most likely be all that she get for a punishment. " I'm working on it...Uncle...Cross. " she squinted her eyes hoping that was the right uncle after all. She turned around and bit her lip watching her father fight some more. She wondered when this all would end but in the end...would it really be over? " She turned again looking at Zero and Blaze and looked confused some more. "How big is the family anyways? How many uncles? " she randomly blurted out covering her face again. "Oopsie..." she mumbled when her hands began sparking again.

Iris kept walking, giving out a few huffs every now and then. She looked down at the ground as she had to watch where she stepped now, she didn't want to trip and fall into a pile of broken glass, that would be embarrassing. She shook that thought away before glancing up from the ground when she heard someone's voice. She noticed a man standing in front of her and stopped walking. She looked at him up and down a few times before crossing her arms "People told me never to talk to strangers" She told him calmly.

Tori flinched at the sound of Myseric's pain and she gave a low growl as she couldn't stand this anymore. This isn't what she wanted. She darted out of the shadows and charged at Vincent only to try to push him back so that he was away from Myseric. "Stop it! I'm the one that started this damn mess and I don't plan on backing down, you know that. I didn't want Myseric or Radagast or any of the others to get involved but it's my fault that they did. So just leave them alone! Right now your fight is with me got it?!" she asked him with a fiery determination in her eyes as she wasn't going to let others do the fighting for her anymore. Now was the time to really step up and even if she knew there was no chance she could win, she wasn't planning on giving up. Her wings opened up and feathers began to gently fall from them before they glowed with red matter and became sharp as knives, flying at him like needles.

 

[xXShadow the Wolf ChildXx]

The last man was desperately screaming with his head in the grasp of Shadow's massive talon. The little soldier was kicking and wailing in fear surrounded by the odor of his fallen team. The radio on his uniform was on still screaming out his last words,"Code 9864 OVER!!!!! CODE 9864 OVER!!!! THE TARGET HAS BROKEN THROUGH!!!! WE NEED REINFORC....M...EAH AH AH AHHHH!!!!!". The end of the soldiers words ended with the sound of his voice becoming high pitched and raspy with his mind crushing. Blood began dripping from his skull down his body as he continued to reflex and squirm like a worm hooked onto a fishing pool being fringed straight to oblivion. In a bloody splatter, he crushes his head like a watermelon. The gurgling corpse now remains with its head crush in Shadow' claw embedded in still holding his body up. The feral abyssal creature slowly holds the up the body to has face and speaks into it,"Make that a double.....s**t bags".

He drops the body and gazes up at the giant dome barrier before him. Now with none standing in his way, he opens his mouth and charges highly dense dark matter into his throat. The gravel and the car blow away from the intense magnitude and the high pitch screech of the energy charge cracked every window with in the radius. Unleashing his attack, he fires out a concentrated ball of dense sonic waves and dark matter into the dome drilling and pushing it in like a bubble. The barrier began to wave unstably from the strong energy and sound waves from Shadow voice. In a flash, the ball breaks through, causing the entire dome to shatter and break. The ball continues its way to the center and explodes into a massive powerful shock wave enough to knock off the block of anyone in its radius. Shadow crouches on all fours and leaps up the building running along the roof tops at high speed like a stalking predator looking for it prey.

The wolf scoffed. His form slowly bulging as the matter was collecting higher with the attack of the Eclipse creature. He shook his head and turned his head toward the blast. Well wasn't he lucky to be the one stuck with the children? He growled in his throat and turned his head to the girl who had called him a "stranger". This made the wolf want to laugh but it only sounded like the wolf was choking.

"Thats hilarious kid. If anyone is the stranger here you are. Look around you!" the wolf spoke coldly. The fighting forms of matter were still raging as the matter field went down.

"So what brings you here? Curiosity? Fear?"he asked and slowly trotted to the side and sat down. His eyes looking up at her with a curious tint shinning in the middle.

VS

Cross's eyes watched as his field was being attacked by Shadow. His hands staying by there sides as his matter wrapped around him and Mirage. Shadows attack flew threw and the attack was a huge radius. Cross's sheild held tight and Cross shook his head lightly. He looked back at the young girl known as Mirage and he saw a little bit of Vincent in her eyes. His smile was a sad one. He knew that this wasn't fair to such a little girl. He shook his head at what crossed his mind and turned his head back toward the blast. He had no choice in what he had to do. Vincent was his enemy here in the long run and he'd done all he could do now to make this fair. He chuckled and shook his head. But was it fair to the little one behind him? The attack by Shadow was harsh and the rocks were beginning to rise. Cross sighed and realized there was only one solution to this problem. So he raised his hands and his matter poured outside of the shield like tentacles. As each one wrapped around the creatures attack it began to dissolve it. Then each tentacle began to fly toward Shadow to catch the creature. Cross then walked out of his sheild and lifted a hand toward Mirage with a sad smile on his face.

"I have to deal with your uncle Shadow before he causes anymore trouble."

Cross's voice was sad. He then dropped his shield as the creature charged forward across pillars. His hands lifting up towards the creature and his matter lifted up as if to wrap around him and pull him in. As it did so with the force of a tornado Cross seemed to be shaking his head.Cross felt the creatures strength and he smiled lightly. Vincent was right in the fact that this rage was both a good and a bad thing. Cross wasn't trying to hurt Shadow. His eyes were determined to pull him closer and it was almost as if each piece of the matter was like a chain pulling the creature toward him. He wasn't going to piss the creature off but he had his mind set on finishing this. Making this between him and Vincent. It's time that the fight ended the way it should have been. This wasn't suppossed to be a all out war between the family but just a fight between Cross and Vincent. Tori may be right in the fact she has a reason. The thing is it wasn't playing fair in any way you throw the stone now was it? Was it fair to attack Vincent when you know no matter what that Vincent was here to finish it? She didn't want anyone to die but she was determined on basically killing Vincent if it came down to it? Cross shook his head and laughed to himself. Gotta love the way the kids thought there stuff up.

On the other side of the brutal attack of Shadow's there was two forms under a light blue light. Zero had his shield trying to hold back Shadow's barbaric attack. The problem was that Cross's tentacled shield wasn't covering Zero or Blaze. Blaze was basically useless behind Zero as he was still in the middle of being healed when the field dropped. Zero frowned at the thought that this may just be what finished his pathetic lively hood. Zero chuckled and shook his head at his thoughts before he looked behind him toward Blaze. He could move at any time and Blaze would be obliterated. What did Zero oew the b*****d in the first place? Zero shook his head and sighed looking back up as his shield began to collapse. He knew that it all came down to the one thought that had filled the back of his head the entire time he had worked with his brother Vincent. He wanted to go find the orphans again. To go find the orphans and just stay out of all the fighting. He shook his head and laughed at himself. What a fool he was to think that he could simply..get out of this. Zero turned his head again and began to feel the shield breaking even further. They may only have a few seconds left.

"Not happening today Zero..sorry."

Blaze's elbow came down on Zero's jaw and Blaze used a ball of matter pushing Zero out of his own feild. The explosion sent Zero flying through the pillars and crashing into a building far away from the current fighting. Blaze turned and braced himself as the sheild collapsed with its holder no longer there to contain it. The explosion filled the air with smoke. As the smoke began to clear there was only one thing left from where Zero and Blaze had stood only 30 seconds before hand. A smoking crater which had no sign of life on any of its visible sides. Blaze may have taken his final shot for Zero but had it been worth it? Zero's unconcious form would not be of any further help. It didn't matter as even if Blaze had survived there was no way he could play any further part in the fighting. Now there were only 3 experiments truly left in fighting condition besides Vincent. Shadow, Cross, and Tori.

Vincent's form didn't even move from the blast but instead turned and lifted a hand knocking it to the side.His eyes flowing up and he began to dance between each needle. As the explosions filled the air it was almost as remarkable as his speed was that he didn't have a single wound on his skin. He looked at Tori with a shake of his head as he lifted his hands outward with a sigh and matter began to form from his hands. He wasn't going to kill Tori but he sure as hell was starting to feel a little temptation for it. He shook his head and threw one ball with expert agility that sent it flying into the ground to send her if she didn't move into the air. And even if she did the rocks would diffidently be there instead. His form popping up above her and came crashing downward with another blast as the other one hit the ground. She'd have to have the agility Vincent had just displayed to get away from one much less two without any scratches at all. Vincent flipped onto his feet after he landed and turned with a sigh . The souls were singing again.

"I am not doing this because I want to Tori. Your making me have to. So please don't point the finger at me and scream your head off. You wanted this fight so I have given you your fight. Is it fair that I am the only one who is attacked by you foolish little kids? Look at Cross and then at me and maybe you might just get this. Theres no difference between him and me. Your so concentrated on me that you haven't realized the power drops around you yet? Dig into it now then because you and Shadow are the only two who are still here trying to stop either me or Cross. The others are all incapacitated in one way or another. Shadow isn't even here to help you for that matter. His absorbed in his rage at the world over the deaths which were completly unnecessary. I understand his pain believe me but I won't let either of you ruin what I have worked so hard to accomplish. Even if it takes beating the snot out of you."

Mirage had briefly made eye contact with her uncle Cross when she squeezed her small hands together as she concentrated. She was heart broken her little flute song didn't tame her uncle Shadow..So she was quite heartbroken seeing Cross leave her to go fight Shadow. " This is full out war between the family..." she whispered softly as she conjured up her own small force field with her dark matter. She watched silently as she focused on the fights all around her. She wanted to help someone-somehow. One of her uncles at least...but gap in strength...it was self explanatory that she would be pancaked if she joined in. Blowing out through her nose in frustration, Mirage waved her arms in a circle like a damn bird- might explain her raven then who circled above her in a protective manner.

VS

Cross's eyes were starring into the sky as he was deep in thought. He smirked as he saw the little girl Mirage trying to find any way to help. The look he gave her was one that most there would never have felt. He was proud to be in this family. Sad as it was he was proud to be what he was. Cross turned and looked at her and in that moment his eyes held hers and he shook his head at her. If he died today..he wouldn't mind leaving that little girl with a father. He shook his head and turned his head back toward a raging Shadow. His attack pressing on Cross's tentacled matter again. He put his hands together and got on his knees in a breif moment. He knew that it wasn't something his family would understand but in his life after his memory was erased Cross had become a very religious man. He sighed and looked up as he slowly stood back up. His matter pushing back as he tried to figure out what to do to this Eclipse character.

Cross's form flew a little into the air as Shadow was easily dodging tentacles left and right. His eyes revolving in there sockets as in that moment his white matter was like a magnet. Pulling Shadow forward and in that moment Cross's arms wrapped around him in a embrace. A strong embrace that was at first merely annoying to the creature known as Eclipse. Cross's eyes closed as his matter began to wrap around shadow and himself. His eyes closing as he could feel it himself. The embrace was almost as if the two were slowly being wrapped in feathers. It was a very soft and warm feeling coming around them. He felt Eclipse's form twitching as he could still feel the anger rise and fall as it fought Cross's chilling embrace. His tails slowly came down as Shadow's attack completely collapsed. Cross's arms tightened as he could tell the monster was indeed very strong in Shadow's blood stream. Sure he knew that they were practically one in the same. Cross shook his head and chuckled. Everyone had a good and a evil which only made his clutch tighter. This boy was to good to let his evil side be what shinned out. He was simply to good for that.

"This isn't the shadow I know kid. Your not someone who is ruled over are you? Its time to come back home child. Its time to come home. It's time to make the twins proud. It's time for you to take over this once. It's time for you to be in charge of the others you hear? It's time for this little promise we made..to finally come down to me and your older brother."Cross whispered in his ear as he felt the twitch of Shadow's ears. Not the rage in Shadow as before. Eclipse and Shadow were struggling through Cross's embrace. His eyes closing as he slowly began to hum. As he hummed he thought back to the first time he met this little brat. The first time he met this little boy who thought he could never love. Man had he grown. Cross smiled again. The sad smile had a story behind it as he slowly pushed his fingers against Shadow's neck. As Eclipse's form slowly was pulled away by Cross's matter and his soft tone. Shadow began to fall into sleep as he pressed onto one of his pressure points. Shadow would wake up afterword and Cross knew this. Cross however also knew that Shadow couldn't stop him after his transformation back. He'd simply be to weak. Cross's singing was low and soft. Only he, Shadow, and the young Mirage could hear the man.

Vincent's form threw Tori through one of the pillars and charged her full speed. Not caring on if she would block him or not. He simply was keeping her from trying to help Shadow or Cross any further then she already had tried. So Vincent's form was like a jumping bean. Disappearing her and reappearing there. At one point he even tapped her on the shoulder and when she turned he threw a punch for her jaw. Dancing backward he was aimming to either piss her off to a extreme or to simply make her focus on him in some other way. This wasn't someone who he was aimming to hurt but he knew how to press her buttons. There was no doubt on that fact. Vincent laughed at himself and grinned at Tori as he finally came to a stop and shrugged. Was she gonna play the game or not?

Iris watched the wolf carefully but then flinched and crouched down a bit when the blast went off as she covered her head with her arms just in case something flew at her face. She then looked over to the wolf once again and her arms slowly dropped as she listened to him, tilting her head when she thought he was choking as she would definitely not know what to do if that happened! Iris crossed her arms when he asked why she was here and looked over to the place where the blast came from "I lived in this city.. Then my parents left me for dead" She told him calmly as she crouched down fully, more or less the wolf's height "You Wolfie?" She asked him curiously before looking around when she heard crashes here and there.

The wolf's eyes tinted with a bit of familiarity. This girl was beneficently who he thought she was. As he starred into her eyes he shook his head and laughed with his weird scratchy tone again. Then he could tell her reactions to the blasts were not in any way a familiar reaction to her. The wolf shook his head and turned back toward the fighting.

"This child is my family. Yours to. You see..I was made by a man named Vincent. Your uncle." he spoke lightly. The wolf's head turning back toward her.

"Though I'm sure that sounds strange..we have plenty of time to speak over that topic."

Iris looked at the wolf curiously when he first spoke as she was wondering if he was talking to her or to himself. She shrugged her shoulders and then tilted her head when he said he was a'made' by this Vincent guy. Iris then huffed and crossed her arms as she sat down on a big piece of rubble behind her "Uncle Vincent?.." She said quietly as she thought for a while, name didn't ring any bells. And having a wolf for a cousin definitely didn't ring any. Iris then looked over at the wolf and scratched the side of her head "Does sound pretty weird.." She said calmly, especially coming from a wolf, but then Iris wondered why she didn't freak out when she saw him and tried to run away. She sighed deeply and put her hands down "Do tell" She told him, resting her head on her knees as she looked at him.

At that moment, Shadow didnt even attempt to struggle once he saw Cross. Could it be that the only reason for crashing through the barriar was to find him? At the moment when Shadow heard Cross's voice, he felt the light beginning to fade away from his grasp. He could no longer reach it as the dark feral sorrowful creature lets out a sad howl for his brother. "Cross...", he howled as the aura and dark body began to deteriorate into ashes, leaving only a young black hair boy on the ground completely motionless. Slowly he opened his lifeless cold crimson eyes up to Cross. He couldn't move nor could he even speak. His ears folded back with all his strength to reach out his claw to him.

Mirage made a few hesitate steps when she saw her uncle Shadow return to normal. She had listened to her uncle Cross singing. She made a few steps again hesitate as she raised her hand. She was kneeling next to Shadow and poked him on the nose. " Uncle Sha sha? " she whispered tilting her head. She looked up at her uncle Cross for a moment wondering was what she was doing alright. She was still a little kid with curiosity after all.

The wolf shook his head and when he opened his mouth matter flew out at the girl wrapping around her like a rope.

"I'm not exactly a wolf dear lady."he said and the matter retracted itself.

"I'm made of a material called dark matter. Something your whole family...controls if you will." he said and looked back as he heard the commotion.

"Though I can't master it as much as your folk I have a small..control over it."

VS

Cross looked down at Shadow as his hand reached out..one tear fell from Cross's eyes. The drops hitting the street pavement with two soft thuds. He wishes in that moment that maybe he might get to see this kid really make it in the world. Then he felt a small force push by him. His eyes going down on Mirage. He shook his head and sighed as he turned back around. His eyes catching the figure of Vincent as his hands nailed Tori in the chest. The blast filled the air. Her form crashing through a pillar before she landed hard into the ground. Cross flew in between Vincent and Tori and Vincent lifted his hands and slowly backed off. His eyes and Cross's crossed again. There was no harm meant to each others kin folk. Now it was between the two of them. It was there turn to choose who was to survive. Cross shook his head and grinned. He slowly looked back at Mirage who was looking up at him and her father in a moment of confusion. He lifted up his hand and smiled as he gave her a thumbs up. She wouldn't understand. In that moment something between the two happend that was almost awkward. Vincent lifted a hand out and Cross shook it. Vincent and Cross then both turned and walked about 10 feet outward from were they started. Vincent turned and Cross did the same. Cross slowly pushed his feet into the ground.

"You know kid..you might have been stubborn but at least when you picked up on things...you've done your part like a true chess player. Souls wrapped around Cross and his eyes closed as a tune wrapped around as they began to sing around Cross as the others did the same for Vincent. Vincent and Cross then charged at one another and lifted into the air and a explosion filled the air as matter shook the ground. Rocks flying in every which direction and several pillars began to collapse. The world around them as they know it was changing. And there was one of them who'd not be able to see the ending result of that change.
