Breaking Point - A TV Lover's Worst Nightmare

"You sure you want to do that after what we experienced today..?" Abagail looked at Alan with a stare that said it all.

You're an idiot.  

[Zahzi]

"........Noted...." Alan said, giving a shiver.

"....The jar next to THAT is something called 'Aphrodisiac's Kiss'..." he said, still skimming the page.

"....Oh my..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"And what the ******** does it do?" Abagail asked as she went towards the jar spoken of.  

[Zahzi]

"....NOTHING!!" Alan yelled, quickly turning the page.

"..............One next to that is a hallucinogenic that makes you see your fears........"

Abagail rolled her eyes, but let it go. Chances were it wasn't anything good.

"I highly doubt any of this s**t works." She snorted. "Chances were your old man was a con-artist."  

[Zahzi]

"Well, I'm sure there's a key to the cases somewhere if you want to try them...." Alan said with a smirk.

"Ah, here's a fun one... 'Slave n**'..." he chuckled.
"It makes the person who takes it completely obedient...."

"Fa-ake~" Abagail sang with a tune, heading for the door.

"Bunch of fake drugs. Can we go now?"  

[Zahzi]

"What's it going to take for you to stay and finish this with me..?" Alan groaned.

"Well, I asked for a day off, seeing how I'm not feeling to good right now." Abagail growled lowly.

"So, you could start, BY GIVING ME A DAY OFF!"  

[Zahzi]

"Yeah, this was meant to take your mind away from other things! Besides, we've only been down here half-an-hour!"

"A day off means not doing anything! It means getting to do whatever the ******** I want! And I want to go to bed and be alone! NOW GIVE ME MY DAY OFF!"  

[Zahzi]

Alan gave a sigh.
"Fiiine, fine....You can go now." he told her, shooing her away.

"Finally." Abagail grunted, heading back for the door.

"I don't want to see you for another twenty four hours, jerk." She added as she left the room.

Alan rolled his eyes as he continued going through the book.
He then gave a smirk.
"Well...She wanted to see if it worked......" he chuckled, looking around for a key.

"Best to wait for tomorrow, though.."

As she said she would, Abagail remained in her room for he rest of the day and all morning the next day, as she wanted to be alone to brood. It wasn't until noon did she finally come out to grab a bite to eat.
