I'd go for a 360, because:
- It's cheaper - It has better games
PS3 is gonna flop big time. And i'm not saying that from a narrowminded Nintendo-omgsonysucks perspective.

Hawkeh Kagura_Sohma Hawkeh Hey guys. I can't decide whether to buy a 360 or a Ps3. xD Oh, also. Nice banner. ;D buy a 360 i own both (not that i play them often ^^ wink but if i was to choose one, 360 would be the one i would want to play. gamer points are cool, along with the downloadable stuff ^_^ plus, rock band is awesome for 360 : D!Doesn't the ps3 also have downloadable stuff? And gamer points didn't seem to awesome more of something to just be like 'LOL I HAS MORE GAMER POINTS DAN U'. And hence, the indecisiveness. yea it does i guess, but i personally don't like it the ps3, in my opinion, was a waste of money, and the same as vaettur, its not from a nintendo stereotyped point of view. and i think gamer points are for more than just showing things off. you feel good when you get an achievement ^^; atleast i do. but its your choice, if you feel like you should get a ps3, then do it for sure ^^ but imo, the ps3 isn't a big improvement from the ps2 and maybe you should wait a little longer before shelling out the cash for a big black box o_O;

Remember kids, the Xbox 360 requires you to pay to play games online against others. Not a huge draw when two other consoles offer free online play. Include that in your decision-making.

But the Ps3 online looks more interactive, and it has FFXIII - and it's not too expensive (£270). But yeah, and Xbox is probably the most appealing.

Good, job editing your post. xd
But yeah, it's no prove, it's just a prediction. Based on the following:
- PS3 is too expensive - Newer version lacks PS2 compatability - They can't handle the competition - HD is more popular then Blueray
Seriously, the only thing that will keep it alive is Metal Gear Solid 4, practically their only exclusive game. Probably not for too long as well.
But yeah.. this is just a prediction, not an attack on sony for the wise-guys among us.

The 360s online fee is very off putting, it's £40 a year or something? It's not much but, still I don't think I should have to pay. Dx

Specially since Toshiba announced it was going to stop making HD DVD's last week BlueRay won the HD war guys sorry to let you all know that. so PS3= a Blue Ray player that will be able to download all the little Blue Ray download patches and is ALWAYS supported by Sony (as stated in their site) so if you think about it you have a never going out of style Blue Ray and a game system added to that for only about 100 bux (new Blue Rays are going to be 3 to 4 hundred) Not that bad if your going the Home Entertainment way EDIT: I'm not being a jerk even if it kinda comes off that way sweatdrop

And.. 100 "bux"? Give me the adress where i can find one of that price and i'll buy it, seriously. And maybe Blue Ray isn't really that small in Asia, but it sure is here in Europe. Not sure about America. But yeah, that doesn't really change my opinion, because the other points i stated are far worse.

There are actually a lot: X-box no longer will carry out HD DVD (cuz it's discontinued by Toshiba) http://news.sky.com/skynews/xml/article/tech/0,,91221-13011,00.html Walmart announces it's discontinuing HD DVD (not as popular as Blue Ray) http://tech.blorge.com/Structure: /2008/02/15/wal-mart-goes-all-blu-ray-hd-dvd-discontinued-by-june/ Toshiba calling it quits: http://tech.blorge.com/Structure: /2008/02/16/toshiba-finally-abandons-hd-dvd-format/ The download thing give me a minute, or don't be lazy and look for it yourself razz rofl

Blue Ray player (a regular one) = 300 to 400 US dollars PS3- 400 to 500 US Dollars SO... IF YOUR going to buy a Blue Ray you are willing to pay 300 Dollars, so for a hundred dollars more you get a game system in a bundle pack get my math??
