"Well, might as well get this over with." Gil said, placing his hands on Demi's cheeks and kissing her on the lips before walking to the Epyon and getting in the cockpit.

"Eh..?" Demi blinked a few times with confusion, having already forgotten their 'farewell scene' discussion. Once it had happened though, she just stood on the catwalk, blinking only more with a heavy blush before slowly walking towards the Tallgeese, getting into it's cockpit.

The Epyon was all suited up and ready to launch. Gil now waited for Demi to launch.

"...You ready?" Demi asked with a heavy sigh over the radio. "I think everything's good to go on my end."

"After you." Gil said, checking the camera systems.

"...Alright..." Demi sighed. "I'll go out first then." She said, just moments before launching out.

Gil, followed suit.

================================================

The battle against Sol-Neo did not end as predicted.
Sol-Neo, was annihilated not on one, but two fronts. One by the combined forced of KAVA and the Barons, but the other was betrayal in the battle itself.

KAVA itself suffered its own defeat as well. The Anathema Gundam was still active, and it destroyed nearly every single flagship, excluding the Lionheart.
KAVA's authority came to an end as its current leaders were killed in that fight.

The Barons came out of the fight victorious, with what little was left with the KAVA soldiers. Those soldiers, realizing that their army was finished, either laid down their weapons, or joined with the Barons, seeing as they were the only power left.

The Gray Baron made a decision after the battle the other lead Barons agreed with. Instead of continuing their raids and pillages, they would switch into making sure nothing like this happened again.
There was more money to be made doing this, after all.

Geno, the Lieutenant-Commander of Sol-Neo was the one who played a role in Sol-Neo's defeat. Against all of the ideas the soldiers had, Geno still fought for KAVA. And, as a double-agent, he had the perfect moment to strike, taking out a third of their forces by eliminating their heavier cruisers when the battle began.
He was not reinstated as KAVA, seeing as they were now destroyed, and now attempts to make life easier for others on colonies that were invaded by Sol-Neo.

Grim disappeared after the battle. His suit had been on the front lines, along with the Anathema Gundam. When the Anathema Gundam was destroyed by the overwhelming forces, he was nowhere to be found, and continues not be be seen.

As said, Gil made sure he and Demi survived the battle, making sure he wasn't then murdered by either Alex, Lady, or Stein...He also had a rather nice present for Stein when the battle ended...
Gil left the fighting behind, as there was no need to hide the Epyon any longer.
As said, once he had time, he Rebuilt his Gaplant, and had it set in the hanger of his newly built shop as a testament to times past.

Although the war between the Sol-Neo forces and the combined forces of KAVA and the Barons of Civility ended in an unpredictably bitter fashion, it had almost come to even more bittersweet victory for Gil, Alex and Lady, or Irina, Stein, and the Gray Baron himself.

As the Gray Baron had planned, Gil battled with Grim, Lady crossed 'swords' with Geno (before he he revealed himself as a double agent), and Demi fought with Olskey.
Though Gil had promised to protect Demi if the battle ever became to heated for her, the promise was almost broken.

In a fit of rage, Olskey had gone mad over his loss in capturing Demi, and hold against Alex. Rather than attempting another capture, he had decided to focus everything his suit had on killing her. Which he had almost done.

After being bombarded with Olskey's weapons, Demi dropped radio contact and for several minutes her suit went still.

Unfortunately for Olskey, Lady was not far when this had happened, and went into her own fit of rage (which ironically became Geno's chance to attack against the Sol-Neo forces).
With the Chaos Gundam exhausted of weapons and power, Olskey was left defenseless to Lady's own bombardment of guns and missiles, and screaming rage.

Olskey only lived through the attack for two very lucky reasons.
The first reason was moments before any final blow could be delivered, the Tallgeese began stirring. Through some miracle, Demi had managed to survive the attack against her, but it came at a rather unsettling cost of her communication capabilities. Her radio could still pick up all the chatter, shouting, singing, and anything else going through the frequencies during the battle, but it could not send out her own messages. This caused communication with her to be broken down to simple 'yes' and 'no' questions, which were answered with nods and shakes of the Tallgeese's nearly destroyed head.
With Demi alive, Lady soon quickly became distracted on keeping her that way, forgetting any sort of desire to kill off the Chaos Gundam.
The second reason was because of another promise Gil had made to Stein. In exchange for Demi's freedom against Stein and KAVA's drug experiments, Olskey would act as Stein's lab rat.
After capture, Olskey was presented to Stein. After only a few days of experimenting, it was quickly learned Olskey was the biggest sender of threat letters against Alex and Demi when Alex had gone on his shop buying spree.
...It was unanimously agreed that Olskey would suffer more under Stein's 'care' than he would under any capital punishment one could be faced with, for any crime.

With everyone live and well, and peace brought back to the universe, Lady made a formal request to the Gray Baron.
Even though the war was over, Lady still stayed among the Barons, acting as a general and right hand man of the the Gray Baron. Surprisingly though, she requested retirement from battle and her suit, wanting to end her days as Lady Baron and returning to just simply Irina Charmeine. So even though she no longer fighting alongside her fellow men, she would still hold some power over them.
The reasons for her request were simple, honorable, and respectable. It had been over thirteen years before she had been able to spend any time with her family, and even after she was revealed to them there was little time for proper 'catching up'. She just wanted to return home now, and try to get back into a semi-normal life.
Her request was granted, but not fully. If any battle or war came, Irina would have to return to her Gundam and act as 'Lady'. All else though could be spent freely as long as her family was involved.
Amazingly, even with the sudden return of Irina the media remained quiet and only dared to get as close as saying that she was alive. No details of where she had been for the past thirteen years were ever printed, posted, or written. It was just simply known she had returned.
...Rumors say however, Irina resorted to Baron habits and... persuaded the media to back off her, and her family...

Having a complete family again, and newly granted freedom from her possessive father, Demi stayed home as well... For a short few months, before suddenly moving to Side 8.
As she promised, she had hired a team to rebuild Gil's home and junk yard shop exactly how it was before he had set to blow up in Alex's face.
Her attention then turned onto the colony itself, and helping rebuild and restore the colony to and past it's formal glory, removing the 'slum' look of it. With the colony restored and all promises kept, Demi also quickly moved in and took over the orphanage, offering Gil a position as her partner in taking care of and seeing to the kids needs, since Gil had spent more time with them than anyone else on the colony.
Not much to anyone's surprise, Demi did eventually happily marry Gil when the time and the big question came. Though one could have easily considered the orphans as the two's 'children', Demi had her own with Gil as well. Three in fact, triplets, much to their... delight. One boy and two girls, all who were named after Gil's parents and sister, as a tribute to them.
With all things settled and restored, Demi also cut herself off financially from her family wanting to live her dream: a simple life. Though she couldn't deny her own inheritance that would come at a much later time when her parents passed, she wanted nothing more than to simply live her days out with Gil and their children as if she were just another person from the colony, and not the kid who ran away from the richest parents in the universe...
