CockroachHunter-S XD Shows what poetry skills the average Gaian has then It seems like they aren't even trying. I hate to sound elitist, but most of them can't even spell very well. Poetry requires a certain comprehension of the English language. When I posted in the poetry section of Gaia, I got my head bit off by elitists, and the mods that was on at the time posted in my thread, and pretty much agreed with their degradation of my poetry.

-I find poetry completely useless. The whole thing is usually someone trying to explain something, very complicated. Look. I don't care for this jibber jabber, just tell me as straightforward as you can.

Saying they have bad spelling is in no way, shape or form, elitest. It's facing facts.
And believe it or not, there's a a type of poetry called Text Poetry, based around texting on phones. Go figure
