Amelia's reaction was sending the predator in him into overdrive. Once again, his mouth opened and, beyond his control, his teeth scraped over the tender surface of her flesh. Sebastian opened his eyes and took in the dewy surface of Amelia's skin. The sweet scent of sweat wafted up to his nostrils; on it was carried the potent smell of her fear. It was that sweet and acrid smell that he loved to take in while chasing and eating his prey raw. Oh yes, he would sometimes eat his prey alive.
Hard as it was to control himself, Sebastian pulled away from the human girl. Unconsciously, the vampire bared his teeth at her. It was such a thrill to know that he had a pet again. It would help to keep the uncontrollable side of him in check. If she bored him, what would stop him from killing her and eating her? It would be something to look forward to. Right now, the girl was lucky that she even interested him. Had she been any other person, she would have been dead and half-eaten at this point.
Desire for her flesh, or any flesh, pounded through him. He jerked himself away from the girl, but his hands still opened and closed. All parts of his body were incredibly tense. The predator in him wanted nothing more to spring onto the girl and kill her. His cool and reasonable mind pervaded his more bestial instincts. He silently convinced himself, eyes scouring the girl, that he could always kill the girl. Kill the girl. That sounded like a delicious thought...
Amelia's voice interrupted his hungry but reasonable thoughts. As she had before, she continued to impress him with her brave facade. Whether or not she feigned her bravery was the question, but he had no doubt that was so. He could smell the fear rolling off of her in waves. Thus, the girl was a fool for being so brave, yet it was a smart move. Smart but stupid. Unconsciously, the girl appeared to hold herself higher under his scrutiny. Surely, the facade was hard to keep, and that was what interested him. He wanted to see how long the fire in her held out.
"You will amuse me," Sebastian replied, finally deciding that he was going to let her live. For now. "Already you do so. I will find more ways."
A thoughtful smile flickered over his lips. "Rest easily, my pet. I shall come for you. In time." His body moved with grace as he stepped away from Amelia. He had decided that he had enough fun with Amelia for the night. For the moment, his insatiable appetite grew, and he wanted to kill something else besides the girl. It would do no good now for somebody would surely notice her disappearance.
Sebastian smiled at Amelia as he melted into the garden's darkness. OOC : -------

Vincent ╔══════════════════════════════╗ Everything around her was warm. Her skin was warm and her lips were warm. The former from Edan's embrace; the latter from Edan's kiss. Her usually cool skin reacted well under the conditions of warmth. Her arm tugged Edan a little closer, possibly as close as she was willing. Gently, her lips moved against his. She took it all slowly because she was unsure. She had never kissed any person before beyond Edan. Him touching her was an entirely new, but refreshing, concept.
His arm tightened around her waist. Her back jerked slightly in protest. The ghost of Sebastian's beatings ran through the back of her mind like a cold stream. Angelique forced down the urge to balk away into the back of her mind. It was hard, but the tiny vampiress accomplished it. Pleasure pulsed through her body. She was more than enjoying their kiss. Angelique felt Edan's mouth move into a familiar shape, a grin, and kiss her more deeply. The thumb of her left hand stroked across the skin of his cheek. Her body throbbed with warmth, soaking it all up from Edan.
Suddenly, there was an awkward moment. Edan made a move as if he intended to move them. Spasms appeared to rip through his body. He pulled away from her to focus on the intense pain that seemingly came from his abdomen. Angelique's mouth formed into a shocked O. She realized that she had totally forgotten that Edan was injured. For a second, Angelique could not react because she did not know what to do.
Then, Angelique breathed, "Oh god...oh, Edan, are you alright?" She paused, thinking, and then continued. "I-I'm sorry! Stupid, stupid... Stupid me, I should have figured better. Do you need anything?"
Her eyes were nearly panicked. She did not want him hurt worse than he was. ╚══════════════════════════════╝ OOC : -------

(( I've got my last day of finals today, but on Sunday I leave for Germany for two weeks, get back on the 17, not sure of I will e able to post or not. ))

[[ At first it was something my teacher was doing with the interested kids in her class and a friend of her's in Germany, but it changed to making it into German club so we could go over. So far on my to buy list is chocolate and gummy bears, apparently both are the best there. ]]

[[Yes, the chocolate is killer. My sister didn't tell me much about Germany. I guess there was too much to tell! But she did tell me that the drinking age is lower than the US's. She was able to drink beer.]]
