Anzu nodded slowly. "I know. It's just not fair sometimes... I feel like maybe he doesn't even need us around..."
"I'm tired!" Malik bellowed, crawling back onto his bed, throwing the array of clothes from earlier on the floor. "Anzu..." He whined, "Where's my water."
The brunette rolled her eyes, "I will in a second Malik." She turned back towards Honda, "I hope he isn't too mad at me then. I didn't mean to be so harsh.." Blue eyes filled with shame drifted to the floor," I know I said means things to him too... about his dad even."
Yuugi stared at Jounouchi playing with his lettuce. It was sort of entertaining to watch.
((WTF Jounouchi... *laughs*))
((It's not like I hate the color in art and anime, I just hate wearing it and I hate it on it's own too... ))

Honda chewed on his lip awkwardly, "Oh, I see... well, I can see why Jounouchi would get so upset then..." he sighed, "All these years we've been friends and all I've ever gotten him to say about his dad is that he's a useless drunk, but he refuses to talk anymore about him..." he assumed that Malik was too drunk to take in this information, so ignored his presence. "But... you and Jounouchi are good friends. It would take more than just a little argument to split you guys up." he smiled, putting a hand on Anzu's shoulder, "I'm sure Jounouchi's fine."
The poor piece of lettuce was soon mangled into many different pieces that were now too small to chop, so Jounouchi stopped playing with it. Looking back over at his burger with a mildly surprised expression, as if he had forgotten it was there. He picked the sandwich up and opened his mouth to take another bite, but froze on the spot as he noticed that Yuugi was staring at him. He looked up at his friend with a "WTF?" gaze, blinking a couple of times.
((I've done that before, with little scraps of food... ^^;; But Yuugi's the one watching him do it. o.o They're both kind of having "WTF?" moments. XD;;
I don't wear pink either, but that's just because I look absolutely horrible in it. XD;; It doesn't suit me at all, and neither does white, yellow, peach, or any other really light and bright color.))

Anzu gazed down at her feet on the floor remorsefully, "I know, I still feel guilty though." She kicked the floor lightly a few times, hoping Jounouchi wasn't too upset with her. "If you say he's fine, than I'll trust you." She finally said, lifting her head and giving Honda a small smile.
Malik crawled closer to Anzu, rubbed his blood shot eyes and rested his head on her shoulder solemnly.
She rolled her eyes and stroked his hair gently, hoping this would put the drunken fool to sleep.
Yuugi's reflect mirrored Jounouchi and he started back rather dumbfoundly for a few moments before jumping a bit and burying his mouth in his burger so that he wouldn't have to explain himself.
((X3; It's cute how pathetic they are though. *grin*))
((Me neither. I feel happier wearing dark colors. ^^))

"He's acting like you're his mother..." Honda said, laughing nervously, "Guess we're gonna be here a while..."
Jounouchi blinked a couple more times before shrugging and biting into his burger.

"Thanks Honda!" Anzu grunted, shooting a glare his way. "At least he isn't prattiling on about nonsense right now - it won't do you any good to provoke him." She stroked his hair a few more times as she watched his eyes close slowly and he suddenly collasped into her lap. Her cheeks turned a light pink until she reminded herself that he was gay and he really just wanted some comfort. The brunette sighed and looked back up at Honda, "I didn't mean to yell. I am glad you are staying here with me."
When Yuugi had finished chewing and swallowing he nearly opened his mouth to yell at Jounouchi about how ridiculus he was being but decided against it when he was reminded of the conversation Jounouchi had just had with Anzu.
Anzu... where was she anyway!? The burgers were going to get cold. "I think I'm going to call Anzu." He finally said, not meeting Jounouchi's eyes. "And then when you are done playing with your food we can do something fun." Yuugi pushed his burger aside and got up to get his phone that had been abandoned at the counter.

"It's fine." Honda shrugged, "I'm sorry I got so frustrated too. Here, I'll help you move him to his bed..." he said, approaching the two.
Jounouchi frowned, "I'm not playing with my food..." he said in a slightly whiney voice, "Look, I'm eating." he took another bite of burger. He acted as if he hadn't heard the comment about Anzu.

"Riight." Yuugi said with a teasing grin, as he dialed his friends number.
"Thanks." Anzu said, helping Honda move the other. "It's better for us to be patient during a crisis." She felt her phone vibrate and once she had gotten Malik into a more comfortable sleeping position, she flipped open her phone, "Hello?"
To her relief it was Yuugi's voice on the other line. "Oh Yuugi - did Jounouchi tell you what happened?"
"Sorta... " Yuugi's eyes wandered to his buddy who was chomping on his burger behind him. "He's sorta unhappy. He is playing with his food instead of swallowing it whole."
"Oh dear. I was too hard on the guy..." She frowned. "Uhm, Honda and I are going to spend the night here with Malik. I'm not sure how you are going to plan on telling Jounouchi that, but I think it'd be better this way. I'll see you tomorrow though - I promise."
"Aww, and we cooked you extra burgers..."
Anzu shrugged, "Cheer Jounouchi up and he should be able to eat them all. You know him."
"Yea..." Yuugi replied, his voice sounding distance. "I'll see you tomorrow then."
"I look forward too it! Bai Yuugi!"
Yuugi turned around slowly to face Jounouchi. "So.. uhm... Honda and Anzu won't be joining us tonight..." He noted, trying his best to approach the touchy subject casually.

Jounouchi looked up at Yuugi from where he was sitting, "Oh, that's too bad... now we've got all this extra food..." he said. He didn't ask why they wouldn't be able to show, because he was reletively certain it was because of Malik.
Honda stretched, "Well then, I guess we better get comfortable. When night comes the two of us can move Malik to the floor so you can have the bed."

"Yea..." Yuugi agreed, the disappointment etched into his voice. "But don't you just wanna eat it all up?!" He exclaimed with forced enthusiasm.
"I can sleep on the couch if you want. Seriously... I'm fine. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I need to be pampered." She said crossing her arms. "Besides, he's probably going to wake up all grouchy and hung over. He might as well be comfortable or he might complain even more."
((We should time skip to morning relatively soon. =3))

Jounouchi sweat-dropped, "Not even I could eat this many... remember, we made enough for both me and Honda?"
Honda sighed, "Fine, good point... I'll go look for some blankets and pillows for us then..." Honda began heading off. As he passed by a chair, he noticed a small kitten sitting under it, "Oh, so Malik did get a cat..." he smiled at the small animal.

"Hmmm..." Yuugi stared at the burgers, not wanting them to go to waste, "Can you say... eating contest! I think I could do it, don't you Jounouchi?!"
"Okay."
"Oh - he did." She bent down on her knees and stared curiously at the pitiful thing, it was so tiny - it must've been the runt. "It's so cute. Do you think it's hungry Honda? He's been gone all night, right?"
((Mhm.. yea, once this bit concludes a bit better.))

Jounouchi blinked, then looked at Yuugi with a grin, "You're on!"
"Yeah, I wonder if Malik has any cat food..." Honda said thoughtfully, heading towards the kitchen.

"He should." Anzu replied, following Honda into the kitchen. "Mhm. It's on the counter - how could you miss it..." She noted with a smirk, making it her duty to feed it.
Once it had a nice bowl of food and water, Anzu yawned, pulled off her jacket and readed herself for bed. "Mhm, I'm gonna sleep now..." She said rubbing her eyes and heading to the coach. "Malik should be fine... k? Don't stay up too late... and good night."

"Dont' worry, I think I'm gonna get some sleep too." Honda said, "But I never did find those extra blankets..." he began looking again, soon finding a small closet that had extra blankets and pillows stacked in it. "Here we are."
