What about characters who can produce their own items? Like Dedede or R.O.B., are they banned?

melikefood No items is kinda lame. If you don't like an item you can just pick it up and throw it off stage. It's fun seeing other people's reactions to it. Also, are the matches stock or time? Time.

i don't even need to look to know it says nothing about it.
still, watch out for peach... she won at my tourny area... she will kick your a**...
also i'm suprised they decided to take out items, in no way are you cheated if your opponent hogs items, or "gets lucky" and gets the good ones, there are many items that backfire, like the smart bomb, and the gooey bomb.
and i mean come on, with 5 minutes, you NEED items to keep it entertaining.

Maybe you could bring an SD card along so you can save replay data on it.
Matches that involve pausing cant be save though, so I'd try asking if you can turn pause off.

melikefood Maybe you could bring an SD card along so you can save replay data on it. Matches that involve pausing cant be save though, so I'd try asking if you can turn pause off. I don't think they'd let me do that. ^_^;
