Kagome rubbed her arm in a nervous fashion. "Well, as long as she doesn't step out of the shield, we should be fine. My barriers have a limited radius. . ." she said awkwardly.

InuYasha growled. "She's gonna whether you want her to or not!" He picked Maron up under his arm. "Kagome, put up a barrier. I'm taking her in."
Kagome hesitated but did as InuYasha told her. A pink shimmer could be seen about 5 decimeters away from her in all directions.
"Hope I'm not turning human for nothing." InuYasha muttered under his breath and ran towards the barrier.

"What's this plan? I don't think we've seen a barrier like this before, then again, I've only been dead for a year, Tsuzuki, is this familar?" Hisoka looked over to where Tsuzuki was now sitting and watching with interest.
"Nope," He shook his brown hair as he looked at Kagome, "What is this?"

L walked behind the two new people without being noticed crouching/sitting with his thumb in his upper lip and said "So...You two are dead?...That would make you two ghosts..." he seemed pretty calm even though he was meeting more non-human beings.

"Put me down!" Maron sreamed as Inuyasha ran towards the barrier, struggling to get away.
"Hey! At least let me know when your going to start!" Chiakia said as Access flew over to help him turn intoo Sinbad. "Game start" He pulled a pin out of his pocket preparing to seal the demon once Maron hit the barrier.

Tsuzuki just smiled and laughed, "I guess you could call us ghosts, but like I said before, we're more technically called 'shinigami' or 'guardians of death.' We exist somewhere between life and death, if that makes any sense."

 L's eyes widened and he said to himself but loud enough to be heard "Shini...Gami?...". L had read and heard horrible things of these Shinigami...Reapers...Gods of Death...Yet the way Tsuzuki described it was noting of the sort...He gave them a semi-untrusting look and said "Well...Very well then...What could you do to help Maron in the tight spot she is in if InuYasha and Kagome fail to do so?...". ((This is the whole irony of L's situation...He wanted Maron and Chiaki to trust him...But he doesn't trust Tsuzuki and Hisoka.))

"Shut up wench." InuYasha snapped at Maron. When he hit the barrier, he was met with resistance but pushed himself and Maron into the barrier as he turned human. "Damnit." he muttered.

((Lol, well, for a bit of Tsuzuki's character, here's the first page of the second book:  )) "We could use a restraint spell to exorcise the demon," Hisoka said, "The only problem is, the risks are high. Really high, the spell could damage her soul, or our own, if it fails. I've used it once before on Tsuzuki."

Maron fell limp in Inuyasha hands as the demon was forced out of her at the barrier.
"Checkmate!" Sinbad said as he threw the pin at the demon, but it just went through. "Well...that was anti-climactic..."

The demon turned confident that nothing could hurt it now that the only one powerful enough to stop it (or so it thought) was passed out inside the barrier. It was shocked to find that it wasn't invincible to the tiger. It shrieked before disappearing into nothingness.

"You did it Byakko!" Tsuzuki said with a smile.
"What? Not being lazy today Byakko?" Hisoka looked at the white tiger, who just yawned.
"You interrupted my nap," it said to Tsuzuki before vanishing. Ignoring the shikigami's comment, Tsuzuki went over to Kagome.
"Is the girl okay?" He asked.
