Seto didn't quite wake at the soft touch to his cheek, but his unconscious form did twitch in surprise. Sleepily, he reached for the hand to pull it away from his face, intertwining his finger's with Jounouchi's as he pulled it to the side. That irritation removed the sleeping CEO's body decided it'd be more comfortable on its stomach. Not wanting to move too far away from it's source of warmth he rolled on top of Jounouchi, straddling his thighs around the smaller man's hips and burying his head into the nape of his neck.

((I think I've only gotten PM spam once, if it was a frequent occurrence I'd probably restrict it to friends only as well. I agree though, other than occasionally tricking someone in to clicking a dangerous link I just don't see how spam leads to anything beneficial for the spammer.))

Seto snuggled against Jounouchi, sighing softly and muttering contentedly to himself. He was close to falling into a deeper stage of sleep when his dreams took a dark turn, replaying the worst highlights of the past few days. In the background of the dream Seto noticed a shadowed, black presence lurking behind them. Startled he jolted awake, fingers squeezing Jounouchi's shoulders and thighs squeezing the slender man's hips as he bit back a scream. He was awake, but still too captivated by the vestiges of his dream to notice the uncomfortably compromising position the two of them were in.

Seto stared down at Jounouchi, not fully processing that he was even awake much less what position they were in. His brain felt fuzzy, trying to mentally grasp strands of smoke that vanished long before he got there. He was unsure where he was, or why he was there, or why Jounouchi was there with him. He supposed that mystery was the most pressing concern at the moment.

'What are you doing here?; he yawned, still not entirely sure he was awake. Seto couldn't decide if it would be stranger to have a mostly naked Jounouchi in his dreams or a mostly naked Jounouchi in his bed. Hopefully this Jounouchi, be he man or manifest, could clear that up for him.

((I think with Monday's usually being my longest days - I don't get home until almost 11pm at which point I'm exhausted - I check Gaia on Monday, feel too tired to update, and then forget the rest of the week because the back of my brain knows I already checked without processing that I didn't reply. Or maybe Jou was just catatonic for a week. twisted ))

Seto might still have been half asleep and understandably disoriented, but he managed to catch the punch nonetheless; the lack of usual vehemence and conviction behind Jounouchi's attempted assault probably playing a helping hand with his fortuitous dexterity. He still wasn't sure what was going on, although it was clear he wasn't in his own bed but in his office. He also wasn't sure why Jounouchi was trying to punch him, the fact that they were both mostly naked hadn't really come back to his attention quite yet.

'Is violence your answer to everything?' Seto asked. His tone was neither accusatory nor angry, at the moment he was generally curious why punching was Jounouchi's automatic response to insult, aggravation and confusion. He let go of Jounouchi's hand to rub his eyes and massage his temples, resting most of his weight onto Jounouchi's hips. Given how little he generally slept it was unusual for him to be so disoriented upon waking, maybe their spirit friend was responsible for that as well.

((Lol, and Seto responds with a slow motion catch apparently. Ugh, why you so full of busy end of term?!?))

Seto had to work hard to fight back the waves of exhaustion threatening to overtake him. He yawned as Jounouchi yelled at him, he supposed that was what provoked the 'sick ******** psycho' comment, but he still wasn't sure why the other man was so angry. If Seto didn't know better he'd say tears were welling up in Jounouchi's eyes, but he couldn't quite place why.

'Whaaa,' he yawned, knowing it wasn't helping the situation but unable to stop himself. 'Wai..wait. Dunno whatcha talkin...talking about...so sleepy. Not normal, this sleepy' he murmured. He'd be alarmed if he wasn't so tired. 'Is...is it getting colder?' he asked, completely forgetting that Jounouchi might be angry at him at the moment and the weather might not be an ideal transition in conversation topic. Still, he was sure the room was getting colder, he could see ice starting to materialise on the other side of his office. That was strange.

((Tomorrow is the last day, and then Monday I leave for Amsterdam so will hopefully be able to relax a bit. However, I definitely won't be back on here after Monday until Sunday the 22nd. I get home Saturday night, so maybe I'll decide I need to know how Seto and Jou are doing, but likely it'll be Sunday before I get back here. Hope holiday madness isn't making work too terrible on your end. Holidays are the worst time of year to work in retail.))

Seto didn't resist as Jounouchi hugged him tight, wrapping their legs together and breathing heavily against his shoulder and chest. He wrapped his own arms tightly around the toned body beneath him, shaking slightly as he tried to fight off the chill.

'Stay awake,' he mumbled, primarily to himself.

((Hope you weren't one of the many scenes of violence you hear about post-Black Friday. Some people are seriously nuts. Gluck when that storm comes.))

'Talk...k,' Seto replied quietly, 'what do you want to talk about?'

((That's good, yea big box retailers would be the worst.))

'Mokuba,' Seto echoed pensively, 'I probably don't have a lot of stories about Mokuba. I'm never home, even when I'm home I'm working. He's so angry about all this, because I won't tell him anything. He's right to be, I'm just trying to protect him, I don't know how to be his brother anymore.'
