Thee Stranger AngelaAshford I finally get to play Snatcher! I tried a new ROM today, and I had problems, and it turned out the copy of Snatcher I downloaded had something wrong with it so I downloaded it again on another site and it works! I'm really impressed with the music, and I was very surprised there were voice overs! Why does Gillian sound like Wesker from the original RE? eek Awesome! How far are you? Hurry up and beat it. xd It sucks being the only person I know who's played and beat it. Yeah, the music is awesome, and the voice acting is good. That's not even taking into consideration the fact that it came out 2 years before RE, (and years before the plethora of PS1 games with horrid voice acting). Speaking of which... Wesker? I dunno. Maybe it's because I played Snatcher first, but I didn't get that impression at all. I'm in the middle of trying to get a picture of the agent who was killed by a Snatcher, so I'm not that far in. xd @Vankala: Congrats! biggrin

Hmm... I've never even heard of Snatcher... what is this game?
I'm just looking forward to playing RE: DC on my lunch breaks at work... Speaking of, I start tomorrow. Boo. I'm leaving Florida today. I'm at the Sarasota airport now, sadly enough, and my flight is at 11:15, and I don't get back to Boston until 7pm because of a 3.5 hour layover in Cincinnatti. Booooooo!!
I dont know why I just told ya'll that, I suppose I'm just bitchin'

It's in Katrina's house (his daughter). She'll ask you a bunch of stupid questions before she'll let you in, though. You have to look them up on the Jordan Computer in Junker headquarters. First it's her father's age, I believe. I think it's 55. She has a Birthmark located on her Inner Thigh which is Heart-Shaped. Did you talk to Napoleon yet? If Gibson already got his head twisted off, Harry will be drunk when you go to visit him. There's a bottle of Brandy next to him with a vidphone number written on it. Call that number. Napoleon will ask you for a password. If he says, The One Hundred Day... type: Reign. Or The Revolution... type: Is Ended. (you can also find the info if you look it up on the computer in Junker HQ). Anyway, after that is when you really start to get into the meat of the game. Woo! This made my day. xd @Notte: It's an old adventure game for the Sega CD. Well... it actually first came out in 1988 for the MSX first. But it's the only US translation. Yeah, I'm a little worried about RE biggrin C. I'm not liking what I'm hearing so far with that s**t with Leon. We'll see. The speakers on my television blew, so I've really been into the handheld thing lately too. Right now I'm playing Ninja Gaiden on DS. It's pretty cool. 3nodding And it's all good. Everybody has to b***h from time to time. I hate flying period. It doesn't help that I've researched every commercial airliner crash known to man, and listened and read the transcripts of every CVR. Damn my morbid curiosity. stressed I'm gonna be flying to Florida around October. I may even be taking a trip to New Orleans in August, but that's not definite.

I've already talked to Napoleon, got the password and what-not. xd BUT, I was wondering what to do when I went to Gibson's (thanks for mentioning his name, I completely forgot it) house and got the age question from his daughter, so thanks. 3nodding @Notte: Don't know about Snatcher? Does this little guy seem familiar?

Lol, the middle guy looks like Mel Gibson from The Road Warrior. Funny you should say there is a character named Gibson in the game...
And that little robot is OBVIOUSLY the love child of Robo-Otacon and ED-209.

Notte hasn't played through MGS yet, let alone the sequels, so that won't tell her anything.
EDIT: Well, I just watched the E3 trailers for Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain and King of Fighters XII, and my G-hod! I creamed my pants every time. Holy crap. Ratchet and Clank looks sick, as much as I loved Tools of Destruction, this one seems so much more intense. Heavy Rain... Well, it looks like it surpasses what I expected. Just watching the trailer made me uneasy in that, "I'm watching Silence of the Lambs for the first time" sort of way. AWESOME. King of Fighters... Well, let's just say Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix can go to hell, because THIS is what 2D graphics should look like in HD. Can't wait for that. But as much as I love all that, I gotta say, nothing made me as giddy as Uncharted 2. Out of all of Sony's original titles, Uncharted has clicked with me the most. And the sequel looks freakin' amazing. Man, I gotta start saving up NOW. It's gonna be a busy Fall.

@ Angela: No problem. ^^ I just think it's awesome that you're playing it. heart The Not So Evil Deadite Lol, the middle guy looks like Mel Gibson from The Road Warrior. Funny you should say there is a character named Gibson in the game... And that little robot is OBVIOUSLY the love child of Robo-Otacon and ED-209. I'm still the only person who has not seen Road Warrior. My brother in law and my brother keep bringing it up, and I can never comment, because I haven't seen it. They're always like, "WHAT!?" I've seen the original Mad Max... and you know what was a really awesome movie? DARKMAN. And tons of s**t has totally ripped it off *cough*Mission Impossible 2*cough*. Seriously, Raimi should have sued them for plagiarism. It's no wonder they chose him to make the Spider-Man films. He proved with Darkman and Army of Darkness that he really knows how to make a comic book movie (structure & tone-wise). I even bought a Wolverine comic one time that was just a total rip-off of the carnival scene from Darkman. Really, it's the same thing. It's even called Metal Gear MKII. The only difference with the MGS4 model is its a little more slender and has wheels, which would be a lot more practical for movement. But it's actually just a bite-sized version of the TX-55 from the original MSX Metal Gear. Although the MKII from Snatcher has a lot more personality. There's a lot of really funny dialogue between the MKII and Gillian. And yes, ED-209 is awesome. xd I love the original Robocop. But I have trouble now, because I always see Clarence Boddicker as Red from That 70's Show. It used to be the other way around.

So I've been super busy, and tomorrow's finally my last day of school! I recorded all the E3 and have been watching it... man, everyone's bringing out the big guns.
Like Bio said, Uncharted 2 looks ******** amazing. Ratchet and Clank looks absolutely beautiful. I wanna play Indigo Prophecy just because of the Heavy Rain trailer. The new MGS with Big Boss on PSP looks great! Also, I doubt MGS: Rising is gonna be 360-exclusive, so I'm gonna keep it on the PS3. razz Also, MAG looks pretty fine.
Microsoft has Project Natal, which looks super-sweet. I want nothing more than to actually shoot the baddies instead of pressing a button... it can open up a host of possibilities. Also, Left 4 Dead 2 (melee weapons!), Modern Warfare 2, Alpha Protocol, Assassin's Creed 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Lots of awesome going on there. biggrin
Nintendo surprised me. After last year I had no hope for their conference. Then BAM. New SMB Wii, SMG2 (with Yoshi! biggrin ), Mario and Luigi 3, No More Heroes 2, a new Kingdom Hearts (previously thought to be on the DS), SH: Shattered Memories, The Conduit, and Dead Space: Extraction.
And my two OMGs from Nintendo: Team Ninja + Nintendo = Metroid: Other M. OMG. It looks incredible. 2. Golden Sun DS. OMG. One of my favorite RPGs and they finally announce a new one after 6 years!
Also, I just beat MGS4 two nights ago. All I can say without spoiling is that Hideo can make people cry. Again. D:

@Canas: You need to play Indigo Prophecy. eek Also, congrats on finishing school!
EDIT: Guess what's in the PSN Store now for $10????? rofl xInfinity

But this makes me really happy. Now I don't have to spend fity dollars to get a copy edition. Yippee! @Thee Stranger: Watch The Road Warrior NOW! One of the greatest, if not best, post apocalyptic movie ever conceived! Yeah, Darkman kicked a**. Durant's death was so damn satisfying! Super Mario Galaxy 2 looks like an awesome rehash...And the return of Yoshi makes me happy! No new Wii Zelda announcement though, doesn't...But it's ok, cuz I've been keeping up with it, and the leaked art is pretty cool, as well as Miyamoto's recent revelations about it. also, Other M made me j**z in my pants. EDIT: Is anyone a little sad that the next Jak and Daxter game will only be coming to the PSP and PS2? I was hoping for an awe inspiring PS3 iteration...
