Z looked up at the drones. Security, what a waste of good hardware. Z looked at the two drones and shook his head. He wasnt going to be made into a liar now. He moved an arm around behind him, resting it on Izunami's side to reassure her that he was going to handle this.

"Move."

Z said as he looked at the two drones unflinchingly. If they didnt recognize his voice imprint, he would be forced to crush them, literally. And, that would be a violation of regulations. Which probably meant Record would have a word with Z later on. But Z couldnt wait, the books he, or rather, Izunami had were far to valuable to be juggled around by the bureaucracy that was the Jarian chain of command.. And as Records assistant, Z knew he had clearance to the vault. They were probably just reacting to Izunami's presences.

"She has clearance to be with me."

That was the last Z was going to talk to the drones. If they tried to issue another warning, or disobeyed Z's order, then he was going to be in trouble for the actions he was going to take to protect Izunami.

He made sure to display a disarming smile as the door came open, revealing the elf woman from a previous encounter. How ironic that she should be the one to answer his summons.

"Ah, well if it isn't our friendly visitor from before. I can honestly say I didn't expect to see you again quite so soon."

The drones remain unmoving. The light glinting off of their metal shell.

"She does not have clearance, nor do you have the authorization to grant clearance. You should know better than trying to enter the highest restricted area of the base. Now leave. Or we will be forced to remove her and notify a officer for disciplinary action." The lead drone says calmly

Xi narrows her eyes after seeing who it was.

"At least you had the decency to knock this time. What do you want?"

The Red Shula

As Z placed a protective hand upon her side, she looked at him, feeling a bit better, but not entirely. This didn't look too good. Izunami then brought her gaze to the drones ahead as Z spoke, confronting them. The drones then spoke, stating she had no clearance and he had no right giving her it. Moving that much closer to Z, Izunami began to feel worried. "What will we do now", she said softly to him. So close they were to just placing the books with that room.

Z did know better. And, he was about to make another foolish mistake that he was sure he was going to get chewed out by a superior officer for. But it was his decision, and Izunami had placed his trust in him. He wasnt about to let, well tin cans wouldnt really be the proper term for Jarian Sentry Drones but, these tin cans stop him.

Z didnt answer Izunami. He just looked ahead and his eyes narrowed. Suddenly, a few thousand psi slammed agenst the two drones, sending them both to the sides. Like parting the red sea, Z wasnt in a mood to wait right now. He was busy and would deal with the repercussions of his superiors when it came time for that. Z knew better though, that wouldnt destroy those drones, merely take them off guard and immobilize them so he could take Izunami in to the vault to put the two books away and leave.

"We do what we came here to do. Put these books where they belong."

Z said, taking Izunami's hand in his and leading her into the vault to put the books there until he could later decode them.

A soft whirling sound echos form behind them and alarms go off. Suddenly dozens of small antbites cover their back as the drones open fire on the two with stun rounds. With each impact Z and Izunami's bodies would go number and number. These weren't just any drones. These were hand crafted by Viva and ordered to guard the Vault.

Up ahead to more drones appear form behind the racks of world ended weapons. These were bigger and bulkier covered in thick armored plating. The two postion themselves infront of the Z blocking his way.

Izunami watched as the guards were suddenly sent to the side, unblocking there way. And after he stated what they came to do, he grabbed hold of her hand and began to pull her into the vault. Izunami looked back at the drones, which began to stir. she then looked forward, watching where they were going. But as they contiued on, she sensed someting coming, lots of things. Suddenly other drones were behind them, as well as an annoying siren emitting.

As she continued to run with him, one arm holding the books, Izunami suddenly felt something hit her back, making her moan out in pain. "Oww..." Turning her head, she sighted more drowns, but there were shooting. A shot would hit her one after the other, making her want to drop to her knees, but she didn't. Although, part of her was growing angry, and her eye's were flashing. she blinked a couple of times, ceasing such a display. But of one were to gaze into er eye's right now, they would see fire swirling. If she grew angry, or was placed in a position where her life was deeply in danger, her other full demon side would emerge. But it's hard to say, with part of her memory still slowly leaking, even though it was still bound and locked away.

The nice thing about being a mentalist, your body always did what your mind did. Shutting down the body didnt mean that it wouldnt work, you just had to take more control of the body to make it work. And while Z's arms were feeling numb, he didnt need them to do much.

Z heard the sirens, he hoped that Record or Luita didnt come down at this moment. That would be most undesirable. He wasnt going to the World Ending Weapons, but those large drones would prove useful. For a mentalist, blocking bullets was hard. Blocking one bullet was hard enough, but blocking dozens was really difficult. A shimmer of light and the stun rounds simply impacted a barrier. That is, until Z's mind took control of the other heavier drones in front of him.

Z's mind grabbed these drones and pulled, hard. He flung these drones behind him and Izunami, the air rushed by them as the drones were flung behind them. However, Z stopped them in the air and held them there, using them as a shield. He held them tightly in his mind, making sure nothing turned around or pivoted to attack him and Izunami. As they walked, he turned a corner, keeping a hand on Izunami's side, making sure she stayed close.

"Almost there. Dont worry, I wont let anything hurt you."

Z said that more for himself than Izunami's. This was the first time that he had had someone to protect, aside from Rachael. And this time, he was going to be much more aggressive in his protective stance.

The larger drones seemed unaffected by the stun rounds, but were unable to break free from Z's mental powers.

A few moments later a bright flash of light flares ahead of them. A tall musclar blonde clothed in black appeared in front of them.

Viva points a palm towards them and releases a concentrated shockwave at Izunami and Z attempting to stop them in their tracks.

Izunami endured the stun rays, one after another, until she didn't feel them come in contact with her anymore. she had her eye's closed the entire time, trying to continued on forwards, along side Z. But as she felt his hand on her side, pulling her closer to him, she blushed a bit and looked up at him. She hadn't even noticed all that he was doing, controlling the drones with his mind, using them to block the stun rays. She gave him a nod, appreciating his devotion to protect her.

As they tread on, they soon began to approach a figure dressed in all black. And as the figure points there palm at them, her eye's go wide, sensing an attack approaching. Izunami leans into Z, shielding herself within his figure.

A strange thing was happening to Z. He wasnt about to be stopped, but normally if he saw a commanding he would have stopped. But he was becoming frustrated. He wasnt going to stop until he finished his goals. All his rage from when he was younger was starting to boil over. After everything he had been through, he was being stopped by someone that was on his side. He had had enough.

Z's free hand shot out behind him. He grabbed the two floating drones and swung them forward. The drones scrapped the ceiling and slammed into the ground infront of Z and Izunami, sending floor tiling into the air and blocking the shock wave.

As Z did that, Z let go of Izunami with his other hand. This one grabbed the other drones and he flung his arm forward, sending the drones racing towards Viva.

Z wasnt going to back down. Not now, not this time. He was always following the rules, getting stepped on. And this time, that he had Record's orders to do this, these tin cans were trying to stop him, Z was angry.

Angry as he may be, Viva, a commander of the Jarians and guardian of one of their territores, wasn't someone to be taken lightly.

Viva glances towards the incoming drones. They burst apart into small fibers before wrapping themselves into small tight balls and bouncing harmlessly off of him.

"I don't know what the hell if going on here, I don't recognize either one of you. Explain yourselves quickly before I start to lose my patience."

He was clearly annoyed having to have to leave the mission he was on briefly to deal with this distrubance.

Z stood again, resolute as he kept Izunami behind him. His arm that had been on her side moved there once again.

Z, and I have been ordered by Record, the master of the vaults and records to find any information on Memnon.

Z said as he reached behind himself and gently took the two tomes from Izunami, holding them up. Their covered bound in leather, gold, platinum. Old symobls decorated the one about Momnon and the only reason it was clear it was about him was because it had his name etched into the side in caligraphy style text.

Record and I have been monitoring the situation while Luita has been gone and Momnon has returned, and he has a plan in the works. We were going to tell Lutia on her return from her mission.

Z's voice echoed in both Viva's and Izunami's head. He wasnt being selective about who he was talking to right now.

He regarded the elf quietly.

"I've simply come to ascertain the whereabouts of one of my own. I believe she might be in the company of one of yours, a mentalist named Z, I believe?"
