((Good grief you guys have been busy))
"Aaah yes. Its good to be back." she said as she watched the battle She followed the others through the hole in the wall.
She saw Zeek charging.
"Ready or not here I come!" she laughed
and jumped in front of Asuka with both axes in front of her to block the attack.
"Get Arisu out of here. She's useless wounded." And in my way she thought. She didn't want to get in trouble for injuring another comrade. Her eyes flashed as she stared down Zeek and braced herself.

"Thanks," Asuka said and carried Arisu behind Mamoru's shield, since that is one of the safest places to be.
"Asuka, you stay with Arisu. I'm going to help with the fighting," Mamoru said. He then made a second shield around Asuka and Arisu. He stepped out from behind the first shield.
Mina saw Mamoru. "I hope you are ready to pay for the destruction of my village," she said, confidently.
"Revenge will only get you killed. I hope you realize that," Mamoru told her.
"We shall see about that," Mina said, drawing her katana.
"I see that nothing will take you from this path. I will hold nothing back," Mamoru said. He readied his naginata and ran towards Mina.
Mina parried the attack. They stood there with their weapons crossed, each trying to overpower the other.

Zeeks attention turned from Elisabeth and jumped at Mamoru "Stay away from her" he yelled as he swung his blade down at him.

"Zeek. This is my fight. Please, do not interfere," Mina said as Zeek jumped at Mamoru. She was doing surprisingly well at holding Mamoru's attack off for someone who has had very little fighting experience.
Asuka jumped towards Mamoru and used her sword to parry Zeek's attack so Mamoru wouldn't have to. "It's no fair fighting two against one!" she said.

"Ok but the second I see you get hurt I will fight him" Zeek said swinging his sword at Asuka and sending an air blast at Elisabeth.

"Then I won't get hurt," Mina said.
"We shall see about that," Mamoru told her. At that moment, he overpowered her and sent her flying through the air.
Mina twisted around in the air like a cat and landed on her feet on the ground just outside the hole, unhurt. Then she ran at Mamoru, swinging her katana as she ran.
Mamoru parried the katana. He overpowered her and sent her katana flying out of her hand. It landed with its tip in the ground outside. He swung his naginata at her.
Mina dodged by jumping back. Then she did a back flip away from Mamoru and landed outside right next to her katana. She grabbed the hilt and pulled it out of the ground. The rain was soaking her hair.
Mamoru casually walked outside. "Well, this is quite the surprise. I didn't think you would last this long. Perhaps I underestimated you," he said to her.
"Don't underestimate the fury of someone who has lost everything that was important to her because of the army. It is that same fury that helped me overpower Arisu's mind when she took control of my body," Mina said. Her eyes shown with anger.
Asuka parried the sword again. "I hope you are ready to face your punishment, traitor," she told Zeek.

"We will see about the whole punishment thing" Zeek said as he swung at her again this time with air around his sword.

Asuka surrounded her sword with the shadows of the people around them and parried the attack. Then she jumped into the air and spiraled over his head, swinging her sword at his back.
Mamoru ran at Mina, swinging his naginata at her.
Mina parried. Her anger seemed to make her stronger and she overpowered him, knocking his naginata away. She held her sword out so the tip of her katana was an inch from his nose.
Asuka saw Mina and Mamoru and cried out. "Mamoru!!"
Mamoru's naginata speared into the ground behind Mina, leaving Mamoru with no hope of getting it. Mamoru just stood still, seemingly unaffected by how badly the situation was turned against him. He kept looking at Mina. "Go ahead. If you're going to kill me, do it," he said.
Mina was about to swing her sword, but hesitated. Then she looked down at the ground and lowered her katana. "I can't..." she said.

Zeek blocked the attack and while she was distracted swung his sword at hers.

"Asuka! Stay focused on your opponent!" Mamoru said. He then kicked Mina so she went flying and ran towards his naginata, grabbing it.
Mina landed on her feet. She ran at Mamoru, attacking from behind. Her attack was too fast for him dodge or parry.
"MAMORU!!!!" Asuka cried. She ran and stood in front of Mamoru, getting stabbed through the stomach. "Ah..."
"Asuka!"
Mina was horrified at what she did. She pulled her katana from Asuka's stomach and jumped away.
Mamoru caught Asuka as she fell forward. He sank to his knees, holding Asuka. "A-Asuka!"
"M-Ma...mo...ru..." Asuka said, very faintly.
"Asuka...D-Don't die...I-I'll get a healer," Mamoru said.
"I'm...sorry...that I annoyed you..."
"A-Asuka, hold on! You can't die! I-I love you! Please..."
"Mamoru...I-I love you...too..." Then she reached her arm up and gently pulled him down into a kiss.
Mamoru returned Asuka's kiss. When he finally pulled away, he saw the tears rolling down her face.
"I-I'm so...happy...to die...in your arms...Mamoru...I love you..." Then her eyes closed and her hand fell to her side. She would never smile again.
"A-Asuka..." A drop of water rolled down Mamoru's cheek. It wasn't rain. "N-No...Th-This can't be happening...Asuka!" He hugged her body, not caring that he was getting her blood on him.

Zeek walked over and stood infront of Mina "Ok I think it is time you stay behind me" he said not looking at her but was looking at Mamoru and felt pity for him.

Elisabeth buffered the air blast with her axes but it still pushed her back several feet. She stumbled a bit.
"Crap... I must be rusty."
She recovered to see Asuka run through. Idiot. she thought
"Annexus will not like this..."
She walked over to Mamoru and the lifeless Asuka. She looked down at the two. She felt the rain falling on her back. Mamoru had always been a softie... never quite ready to kill... she had a feeling that was about to change.
"So, Mamoru, are you going to let them get away with this?" she said darkly. There was no smile on her face but her eyes flashed a little.

Mina couldn't believe what she did. "I-I...I didn't want to kill her..." she said.
Mamoru continued to hug Asuka, his tears flowing freely down his cheeks. He slowly lowered her body to the ground. "...You will pay for this...I will avenge Asuka...Even if it kills me...I will get my revenge..." he said to Mina, a look of hate in his eyes.

Elisabeth readied her axes but stepped back. She had been looking forward to a big fight but she had seen the look in Mamoru's eyes. She would wait to see what he would do.
She looked over at the blacked out Arisu. She'll bleed out and then we'll have another casualty to report to Annexus. she thought
She pointed to two guards.
"Don't just stand there, take her to be treated!"
She turned to Mamoru.
"Lower your shield so they can take her. You'll be stronger when you don't have to maintain it, won't you?" she smiled wickedly. She'd never seen Mamoru angry like this.
