Elizabeth tried to look away but with Donovan's grip on her chin she could not look away from him. The anger in her eyes dimished at his words and a tear fell down her face. "I thought you hated me. Why do you care if I am crushed, raped, or killed?" she asked closing her eyes not wanting to look at him.

Donovan watched her for several moments before looking away. He released her chin, his finger curling as he reluctantly brought the hand back to his side. "I just do," he mumbled. Taking a deep breath, he looked back at her and said, "We should get inside before they lock the doors."

Elizabeth's head fell and she slumped on the wall. "You are so stupid," she said laughing slightly. She lifted her head, cheeks wet with fresh tears. "I'm staying out here you can go in though." she then let herself fall the the ground and she just sat there and stared up at the sky.

Donovan frowned when she called him stupid, but out of confusion more than anything else. How was he stupid? But, hey, she was laughing, so that was a good sign. He smiled weakly. When she fell to the ground, he sighed and sat down beside her, leaning his back against the wall. "Oh yeah," he said sarcastically. "Like I'd leave you alone after what just happened."

Elizabeth turned her head on the wall and looked at him, eyes half closed. "I am not going anywere, I am to tired to. Go inside and get that cut looked at. I will be fine." she said before she looked back at the sky and closed her eyes as the wind rustled her thick black hair.

Donovan looked back at Elizabeth as she spoke. There were so many things he wanted to say to her, that he feared saying to her but wanted more than anything to say. But, instead, he said, "You won't be fine if you get locked outside." As he continued to watch her, his heart beat faster. He longed to bury his face in her hair but fear held him back.

A smile slipped on her lips as she opened her azure eyes and stared at the stary night sky. "I guess I can go inside. I have given you enough trouble for one night I suppose." she said gently as she lowered her head and looked at him, hair falling in her face. "You are going to have to help me inside though."

Donovan smiled weakly. She certainly had given him quite a bit of trouble that night. But he didn't mind, so long as she didn't do it again. She had scared him half to death. He reached a hand forward and gently tucked her hair behind her ears. He pushed himself to his feet and reached down, carefully hauling Elizabeth to her feet and supporting her.

With Donovan at her side Elizabeth made her way to the door, her head leaning against him as she was quickly loosing the energy to stay awake. She looked up at him and poked his cheek. "You better get that cut looked at, okay?" she said with a tint or worry in her voice.

Donovan helped Elizabeth over to the door, pulling it open. He stopped when she poked his cheek and looked down at her, one eyebrow raised in question. When she mentioned his cut, he looked down at his arm. Yeah, he probably should. "I will if you promise not to get in the path of anymore incoming traffic," he told her, smiling weakly, as he helped her inside.

Elizabeth frowned but she nodded none the less. "Yea I promise. I am going to my room to sleep. I will see you later." after that she moved out of his hold and made for the stairs, slowly asending them. Once she reached her room and laid on the bed she instantly feel alseep.

Donovan nodded and anxiously watched her walk off. But, when she didn't fall, he relaxed and made his way towards the nurse's office. Luckily, she was still there and patched him up, though still scolded him despite having just lost his brother. She didn't mention Theo, for which he was grateful. He could go on and pretend everything was fine, until someone said his name. Afterward, he made a quick stop to the kitchen, stuffed his face with leftovers from supper and then retreated to his room. But he didn't sleep. He just sat on his bed and stared ahead. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep that night, but he didn't mind. At least, then, no one would be able to sneak up on him.

At the short time Elizabeth slept she could not stop seeing Theo. He haunted her every time she closed her eyes. Finally it grew to much for her to bare and so she jolted up on her bed and covered her mouth as she screamed his name. She panted and bite her hand lightly as tears fell and landed on her exposed leg. Her body shook wildly as she sat there and stared at her wall, oh how she hopped no one heard her call for Theo.

Donovan lifted his head. He'd thought he'd heard someone but, as he listened and heard nothing, he pushed the thought away. No one would be awake at that hour except for the grieving and insomniacs. Sighing deeply, he laid back on the bed even though he knew he wouldn't fall asleep, partially because he still had his light on.

Elizabeth finally composing herself stood up and changed out of her sweet clothing and simply slipped on a t-shirt that bared a small slice of carmel stomach at the slightest movement. Paying no attention to this she walked out of her room and looked around, wipping her eyes. Noticing Donovan's light on she began to head to his room. She stopped at the corner and poked her head in and spotted him on his bed, laying there wide awake. She didn't say anything, she just watched him.
