Power: Magnetokinesis (Minimal Control)~~~~~ Calamity looked up at Shadow Walker as she asked about sandwiches. He had been busy looking around, having never really had enough time to get good looks at grocery stores. He found patterns in product placement, of course, people usually did that. He wondered back to the types of food he'd eaten. "Hmm... Sandwiches... Boloney?" he said tentatively. He looked around the meats but couldn't find it. In actuality, it was directly in front of him, but he'd never learned that Boloney was in fact spelled Bologna.~~~~~ Dark Calamity

my name is Shadow Walker Good thing Shadow Walker did know which one he was talking about and how it was properly spelt. "I believe this is what we're looking for..." Then she noticed that they were sliced like the smoked salmon she picked up. Perhaps picking up more of the sliced stuff would be best for sandwiches. What's this? Deli slices? She picked up a couple more sliced meats, Roast Beef and Smoked Ham. "You think we need anything else or do you think we're good to go?"

Warp took a few shortcuts to reach the store and avoid most people, as he figured his stunt on activating a Sentinel in New York was well known, no doubt along with the announcement made by the former vice-head, now the head of the MRD, Jason Richter. The head was good, spinning the 'mutant problem' as merely lost souls who have a condition. Warp estimated at least 10 percent of the homo-superior population considered their power itself more of a burden than a blessing. In the case of certain homo-superiors it probably was true. He couldn't exactly see how Eris and Erid could spin their powers in a positive light, and even his sister's power was problematic. Any power was if the homo-superior was unable to control his ability or didn't have any resemblance of an 'off' switch to his power.
He forced a smile at the thought of how the new head was spinning it, Genosha could easily be seen as leper colony where the lepers actually chose to keep their leprosy. It would especially be the case if they did announce a cure to the X-gene. Even the 'bleeding heart liberals' of the human population would stand behind the MRD's new public persona. The MRD would be seen as trying to merely cure sick people, how could that be wrong?
And, if something ever did happen to Jason Richter, the man would become a great martyr and sympathetic figure. Actually, it would be smart for the MRD to set it up when they announced a cure something happened directly to Richter or a leading member of the project. Warp was maneuvered in a box, because he couldn't act in retaliation to the MRD now and there still was the factor of the Black Reaper who had the exact same power as Warp did-a power that sort of stood out. The Black Reaper could easily provoke the MRD to move directly against Genosha and the MRD and the humans would win.
He had been going on autopilot as he calculated things in his head that he didn't even notice that he was already at the tent section of the store and that a child was pulling on his mom's hand and said, "It totally has to be him..." And the mother tried to hush him. Warp glanced over and smiled slightly and said, "Don't worry about it." He walked over and started a short conversation with the child while he thought in the back of his mind Magneto would feel compelled now to take a more active move against the MRD. Magneto's plans didn't involve compromise and Warp had a feeling that it would get a lot of people killed-and not necessarily just humans.

Power: Magnetokinesis (Minimal Control)~~~~~ Calamity thought another moment. Sandwiches were fairly simple, but he knew some people liked really elaborate sandwiches. Calamity wasn't that kind of guy, he generally enjoy a simple meal. He looked back up at Shadow Walker and shook his head no.~~~~~ Meanwhile, underneath the MRD Headquarters in Manhattan, Jason Richter was working tirelessly on his computer. The Sentinel 2.0 needed many modifications before it was ready, and he needed it ready quickly. He looked around. Only a few other scientists were in the room. There were no cameras, and the computers they were working on weren't connected to the internet in any way. Jason knew all too well the hacking capabilities of mutants of Genosha. That was probably why they were able to hack the original Sentinel so quickly.
The Sentinel 2.0 would be a perfect counter to the mutants that it encountered. It would come equipped to counter every ability in the Black Reaper's arsenal, as well as be able to administer mutant collars and inject mutants with an anti X-Gene serum, concocted from the mutant collars and the nullification ability the Black Reaper had taken from the boy. The Sentinel 2.0 would be a mutant-cure, and a mutant killer if needed.
That got Jason thinking. What if there were a fail-safe? A construct under his personal control that would cause mass devastation? There was a way, but for that, Jason needed a bit of research.~~~~~ Dark Calamity

a.k.a. Myth  Dean sidestepped. "Alright then." He replied. His winged sandals vanished allowing him to stand the ground once more. From now on this would be for Sebastian's improvement. No need to destroy the guy while all he wants to do is train his senses. That being said Dean wasn't going to make it easy on him. Dean waited for Sebastian to land and get in his stance. He circled around him. Just walking but keeping an eye on him. OOC: Sorry thought I wrote that differently.

Sebastian missed Dean and flew forward several feet before arcing downward and landing. He rolled on the ground and came back up in standing position, readying his body in a sort of Muay Thai stance. He slowly turned his head, listening for the feint steps of Dean, whom he guessed would be somewhere behind him. He turned to face the noise, focusing intently. He followed the footsteps as they slowly circled around him. He slipped his left hand into a pocket and pulled it back out in a fist.

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker took a moment to observe how people were checking out. She placed the basket down then started putting items down on the conveyor belt: Cucumber Cream Cheese Sliced Weat Bread Sliced Smoked Salmon Bologna Roast Beef Smoked Ham At the end the cashier asked told her the total. At first she thought Oh...that's nice... Then when the cashier prompted her to pay with cash or card, it suddenly occurred to her that he wasn't merely stating fact. "Right... here..." she handed Warp's card the cashier took a moment to look at the girl. Then kept his thoughts to himself wondering if Warp had adjusted his standards as he proceeded to complete the purchase. She started leading them back to Warp's apartment.

though once upon a time I was called Aimee Perry Location: Warp's apartment Warp's apartment smelled distinctly of cherry blossoms mixed with fresh cookies. Blink had teleported herself into Warp's apartment some fifteen minutes earlier and had stayed. The truth was she had rather not run into Warp at the moment, but Raven had charged her with explaining the situation on how it was impossible to hack the information about the new sentinel or this possible cure that the MRD had hinted at. It was possible if they got one of their hackers directly in contact with MRD computers but that would require getting into MRD HQ most likely and even Blink couldn't make a completely blind jump. If she had a picture of the room she needed to be in it was possible, but not anyone she knew had that. It would probably take at least a month to plan things out and a month was an awful long time with something like this looming.
She had supposed she should apologize to Shadow Walker and there was the fact Warp was far less likely to do something stupid if the MRD couldn't endanger his sister. She probably was safer in Genosha. Or as safe as the other homo-superiors in Genosha, which she had some doubts about. As she waited, she read a battered copy of The Taming of the Shrew with notes her father had made back in his grad school days. She had picked it up the night before, which may have explained her better mood and more rational outlook on the situation.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alexander William Diaz

It took Warp another twenty minutes to pick up everything he needed and the cashier asked for a card and Warp smiled, joked he had forgotten his card, before a force field formed in his hand and a piece of paper he had formed an exact copy of the card that he had given Shadow Walker. The cashier smiled as he looked at the name, "You could have just said who you were."
"But couldn't anyone do that? Don't you have better security," Warp joked before adding, "Nah... I'd like to see someone who had the balls to try to use my information without permission." The cashier raised a brow and muttered that he would too. After paying for his purchases, being asked if he wanted help carrying the three sleeping bags and tent he had picked up, Warp refusing, and him items shrinking to what could fit in a fairly ordinary sized shopping bag, he walked out and headed towards home, taking various shortcuts as he went. He knew even with his shortcuts it was still likely Shadow Walker and Calamity would reach the apartment first. Unless they got seriously lost.
As he walked he realized he hadn't heard anything back from the hackers or Raven. Usually someone would have contacted him by now, even if his usual hackers were just talking directly to Raven. Could the new MRD head be smarter? That much was obvious but it seemed border-lining on paranoia to have it so secure that no-one could find anything. Even the CIA and FBI databases weren't that hard to hack. Or so he heard... it wasn't like he knew that much about hacking. Too much technology annoyed him and the reason he learned as much as he did was so that he could recreate items in a pinch. That was the problem with his power, he couldn't do anything unless he knew the exact mechanics of something. Destroying was easy. Re-creating was more difficult depending on the object. And, medical cures required a lot of studying to be decent at. It was one of the reasons he was quite often studying even subjects that weren't his primary interest. His power would be difficult to utilize unless someone was book smart and had the concentration and practice to pull off his control. Maybe it wouldn't be quite as worrisome as he initially thought for the Black Reaper to have his power. The man could imitate him but if he wasn't a genius and had the time on his hand could be really pull off the things Warp could?

Power: Magnetokinesis (Minimal Control)~~~~~ Calamity walked behind Shadow Walker, his neck twisting around so he could look at the city. He was still in awe about Genosha. He remembered every single person living here was a homo-superior, and he thought that was something special. Calamity mapped the city in his head, by remembering the magnetic fields around each object, and matching it to a pattern. It was much more reliable than a hand-drawn map, as this map was in his head, no, it was in his instinct. Something sparked Calamity's mind as they passed a storm drain. "What's..." he said quickly as he bent over the drain. He placed his hand over it. He looked back up at Shadow Walker, silently apologizing for stopping. He focused on the particles underneath the drain. He pulled up on the metallic object. Speeding up the drain, smacking against the grate was round, gold object. He maneuvered it out and looked at it. It was a gold pocket watch. And it worked! He pocketed the watch and stood up, smiling at Shadow Walker. His range of metallic elements he could manipulate was getting larger. a.k.a. Myth Sebastian might have given up his sight but that doesn't mean that Dean had to. In fact he was taking full advantage of it. Sure, he too had trained to do without but two blind men fighting was...well..in his mind it was a bit funny. Dean continued to circle around Sebastian. Muay Thai huh? Good choice. Devastating kicks and extreme close range elbows. But what's this? You don't form a fist inside of your pocket. What do you got there in your hand Sebas? It might as well been nothing but Dean kept an eye on him. Of course he didn't focus on that alone. But let's see what he could do right now. Dean was now hopping around Sebastian, taking big steps but staying light on his feet. Right as he landed he twisted and did a round house kick aimed at his mid section.

Sebastian didn't hear the foot coming. The kick landed squarely on Sebastian's chest area. But with Sebastian's arms already up, it was the perfect opening. Sebastian's right arm wrapped around Dean's leg and pulled tightly. With his left hand, he threw the smoke bombs to the ground, sending a great amount of thick gray gas into the air, making sight a negative option for the two of them. With his left leg, Sebastian would attempt to kick Dean's other leg out from under him, hopefully sending Dean to the ground. If that worked, Sebastian would be a step away from winning the fight, and if not, they were now at least on equal ground with the smoke.

a.k.a. Myth Good block.It had taken away Dean's balance. Or at least made it really easy to do so. Followed by the smoke bomb. So that's what he was hiding. That problem was easily solved. He was not about to let Sebastian create the battlefield. He was a good fighter even with his eyes closed. Or would be. Making a short hop on his remaining leg he would jump over his sweet and try stomp on Sebastian's feet. That wouldn't get him out of the lock he was currently in. He summoned a sword. The Fragarch from Irish Mythology. The soft breeze of the forest became gust of wind sweeping away the smoke.

my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker paused as she didn't hear him near by. She turned and quirked an eyebrow at Calamity Just what is he up to?. It looked like he was pulling something out with his power. When he was done she smirked back at him. It wasn't long before they arrived in front of Warp's apartment. "Here we can go inside while we wait." She held his hand and they walked into their shadows on the door and emerged from a shadow of the living room. "um.. Hi Blink" she headed to the kitchen and started placing things in the fridge. She was under the assumption that all food was simply stored in the fridge.

Blink glanced up from the book as Shadow Walker and the silver haired boy walked in. She raised a brow at Shadow Walker's fairly polite greeting to her. She would have thought someone appearing in an apartment they didn't live at would bother them. "No sassy remarks?" Blink said wryly. "If I am as you thought I was I definitely deserve them. Well, I'm over it, and I prefer not to have unnecessary conflict in my life. Nothing a glass of wine and some light reading can't cure. Also, going over old assignments."
Standing she said, "I brought cookies... don't worry, I didn't make them alone. Eris helped and they're from a premade batter so it is kind of hard to screw up. And, also, Raven wanted me to get the message over to Warp that we can't hack MRD files. At all. The data isn't on any accessible server-or any sever accessible from a distance- any more. Or any new data. Everything is sealed completely shut. The 'cure' they are hinting at and no doubt brewing up and this new sentinel."
Blink leaned on the counter and as she watched as Shadow Walker put the food in the fridge and said, "Unless the bread is glutton free, it can just go in the breadbox." She pointed to a wooden bread box with a rounded sliding hatch on the other side of the kitchen. She then sighed and turned to Calamity and said with a smile, "Nice to see Warp is still picking up strays. I'm Blink, by the way. You probably will end up in one of my English classes. I don't tend to grade excessively hard, so most pass the first time."

Sebastian's foot swept nothing, obviously Dean had jumped. Sebastian pulled his leg back in quickly as a gust of wind blew past him. The smoke was likely dispersed by Dean's tactic. So much for the equal playing field. Sebastian grabbed the leg that was in his grasp with both hands and yanked hard, attempting to throw Dean off-balance.
~~~~~ Calamity looked up at the woman he'd never met. "My name is Calamity. Are you also part of the Brotherhood?" he asked slowly.
