Why did the powers that be make the weekend so short? I'm dead on my feet today....

Actually no, it doesn't have the texture smoothing like on the PS2, but it does have an overal screen smoothing which works really well at making the games less pixelated in general.

That sounds pretty much like the same thing as the texture mapping. You sure it's not the same thing?

Yes, I'm sure. With the texrure mapping, it made the textures smooth. This keeps textures pixelated, but smoothes out the overall image. Like, it basically filters the whole screen.

Question to Angela and Notte:

During this summer, I plan to (triumphantly) return to making movies again...After a way too long 8 month hiatus. I have a couple of movie ideas yet to be written down, but my most favorite one is a possible offense to women all over the world...Even though I don't intend it to be. Can you tell me what you think of the premise of this flick and what you're thoughts on the matters I bring up are?

So, the movie's working title is called Clash of the Monthly Afflictions, and it's an absurd (Absurd being the key word here) comedy about a werewolf that gets the s**t kicked out of it by a women on the rag (Hence the title).

One joke in the movie is where you see blood splattered on the woman's pants in her, err, well you can guess what it probably is area.

Now, the hard part of this movie is to explain why I don't want this to offend. The fact that a women is even fighting a werewolf to begin with is absurd, and so I want everything in the movie to be seen as such as well, instead of taking it all serious. Because, let's face it, people will get offended without even knowing the context in which the jokes are presented. But my main concern is taking it too far. I don't want to be a d**k head (And I still want to get laid as well). So, with that being said, I shall ask you, if you knew this was a movie not to be taken seriously, would you still get offended at the subject material?

The only thing I DO want to be offensive is the tag line:

In one corner is the most evil and vicious creature that ever threatened to destroy all of mankind. In the other is a werewolf.

Sorry, but I had to say at least that ha ha.

Even though I'm not a woman, I will say this: Sometimes you gotta shut off that little part of your brain that gives a crap about people's feelings, and do what you wanna do. That's what disclaimers are for. Good luck finding your lead actress, though.

It's funny...I've told several people of this concept and they've all said the same thing: Good luck finding a women who'd want to do it. But, that's been taken care of a long time ago, back when I was still crafting this idea in my head. I guess it pays to have a close circle of movie friends.

On the other hand, if I lived close to you I'd gladly play the werewolf. My acting coach called me an animal afterall.

Deadite, it sounds like a hilarious concept, and personally I'd laugh at it, so go for it smile

But keep in mind, I'm not your average woman. I have a much darker sense of humor and a stronger sense of self than most women I've met.

In other news, last night my roommate and I went to a Zumba dancing class (a very awesome mix of Hip Hop and Latino dancing styles) and I danced my a** off. If anyone wants to get a workout that burns over 500 calories a class, get your a** to some Zumba. It's fun and if you got the right instructor, it's really rewarding.

I don't get it... sweatdrop If it smooths out the overall image, wouldn't it then smooth out the textures...?
I've been looking for comparisons, but I can't find any.

Well, no, because the textures wrap around the 3D models. The overall resolution is upscaled. But the textures themselves aren't filtered. If I had a working computer I'd simulate the effect in photoshop. Too bad I don't. neutral

I wouldn't mind trying but I shouldn't be burning calories at the moment. xd

@Notte: I think Bio is right. I shouldn't care what most people think, especially if the crowd I intend to offend is the group I DON'T want seeing my flick in the first place. Don't, or rather don't care if they see it. Thanks for your outlook.

Well, Clash of the Monthly Afflictions is still a ways off. I'm going to return with something more of a challenge. Usually, most of my horror concepts come to be comedies during the filming process, so I'm going to return with a very straight laced horror flick. One with comedy in the vein of Evil Dead II, but very little of it.

@Bio: Sadly, none of my films need actors yet. My films very much ride on the script material rather then the delivery of it. So, the people I cast in my flicks don't know much more then how to scream or look horrified pretty convincingly. I'll probably being playing the part of the werewolf, which will probably just be me with some torn up clothes and wolf mask on, to add to the absurdity. Hey, I making these films on a very low budget here ha ha.

I wouldn't mind trying either except for the fact that i suck at dancing of ANY kind! sweatdrop

@Deadite: I wouldn't be offended by a movie like that. I have a sense of humor and don't take alot of things too seriously. ^^
