You know what I found that disturbs me? In all the history classes I've taken...NOT ONCE did I hear about how the first Africans in our country were CONTRACTED WORKERS. Not only that, but that both free AND slave African Americans fought against the British. I mean what is up with our history books and their censoring?! In case you're wondering I've been watching that new History Channel show called "America: The History of Us", based on the journals that people wrote during that time.
