My text books give me reference ranges, and they are all completely different units than ours. Checking it, it's an American book, and it's American values. Medicine happens to be a part of science. While if I convert the numbers mathematically they do end up very close to Canadian ranges(since every country is different), I wouldn't have to do that if the book came from the UK. I think most of the units I see in that book is grams per litre, while the ranges I'm given for Canadian practice is in mmol/L. That's why(for example) if someone's glucose level is, say 6. It's 6 mmol/L. I don't know what that would be in American values, but I think they are up in the hundreds.

yeah, if it's a science text book, it will be in SI units, not the standard American units.

Creatinine levels at least are measured in mg/dL here. The international units preferred by Canada Britain and France is mmol/L. I think the only values we actually share are time and pH. Unless somehow 7 is not neutral to you, then we only share time.
Actually, I think Americans measure with time more than we do too...At least a second is a second...

Anyways! Much more important issue at hand! I can't keep black yarn! They used to sell them here in 1000g balls! And now they don't! gonk I use black like it's going out of style! It's a CRISIS!!

I got a ball on my lap right now that's... 141 grams. In length(so it says, I don't believe it) it's 244 yards or 223 metres. Red Heart Super Saver.
