Uhm, I don't want to sound mean or anything, but it sounds like a bad movie on the scifi channel. I'd throw in a bit more story maybe, like maybe about his home life or mother, because those are the main things that trigger that type of behavior in people.

@Elliot: I'm not aiming for originality here. I'm leaving that up to my next flick ha ha. Nope, it's just another haunted house movie. But, with that being said, this movie is more or less a project to test my skills (At inducing terror, camera handling, and editing), so, I'm trying to keep the story simple here.

I'm not trying to let the characters social life come into contact with his ghostly persona. I'm trying to keep the clothes simple, like Freddy's. Just casual clothes you might wear on any day of the week.

I'm glad you like the look. I worked hard on trying to make him look scary. Any advice on that, or do you think I hit the right chord with that?

@Darling: Bad movie on sy fy channel lol. I dunno, I've seen some of those movies, and I think I could do better lol. Well, anyways, like I said before, the character's back story won't be in this movie, so I don't really need to develop it more. I just used it as a basic guide for developing the "ghost's" story and personality. Which means you might often see him shaking in uncontrollable anger. And even if I wanted to add the back story to the flick, that would mean I wouldn't have time for the actual ghost story. I mean, it's only gonna be a ten minute youtube movie. Lol, I like how you said home life or mother...This immediately makes me think of Psycho...Why no father in the mix? Well, anyways, thanks for your inclusion. If you have any more advice, I'm more then willing to listen.

EDIT: I'll be filming the trailer on Tuesday, so expect it up (hopefully) by Tuesday night or Wednesday...If not, no later then next Sunday.

his mother because psychology and crap usually relates men wit problems to mother and women with problems to fathers. So unlessit's actually a woman like in Jason, i assumed mother.

Hey guys! Just got back from my grandparents' summer trailer park area where they had the annual garage sales! It wasn't as groundbreakingly amazing like last year's collection that I got, but it's still nothing to scoff at. Without further ado... Here it is!

Tomb Raider (PC) - $1
Rayman (PS1) - $0.50
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (PS1) - $5
Sonic and Knuckles Collection (PC) - $1
Disruptor (PS1) - $5
Epidemic (PS1) - $5
Fear Effect (PS1) - $1
FFVIII (PS1) - $1
MGS1 (PS1) - $3
Caesar's Palace (Sega Genesis) - $1
F.E.A.R. (PS3) - $10
Ultraviolet, never opened (Blu-Ray) - $5
Uzi airsoft gun - $15

I already have MGS1 and FFVIII, but at those prices it'd be unfair not to buy them. razz

...Oh yeah, also...

MGS: VR Missions (PS1) - $5
RE2 (PS1) - $1
biggrin

So I had never heard of MGS: VR Missions before now, and now that I've looked it up it looks really awesome. Playing as Cyborg Ninja/Gray Fox = awesome. razz And RE2 for the PS1 for a dollar speaks for itself. I'm so excited!

And how am I telling you all this right now? Well, an early birthday present... a new laptop! biggrin It's an HP with Vista, I'm gonna torrent an XP Pro downgrade later on... 3GB RAM, 200GB HDD and I already have a 1TB external. Already have AIM, WinRAR, Firefox, and all my emulators on it. So happy right now!

I'll buy your 1$ copy of FFVIII for 2$. xd

Congrats on the new lappy. After I get a new bike, I'm saving up for one myself...I forget, which type (Mac or PC) is best for movie editing?

Script is done. Now doing a story rewrite; Wasn't satisfied with it. That means a different back story to correspond with the haunting better. All the scares and flow of the movie shall remain the same though.

I'm done filming the trailer, but editing it will take a little longer then I thought. It'll be up by this weekend though. There's some pretty good, admittedly bad, and super cheesy stuff in it. As well as some pretty funny and hammy acting.

Looks fun, Deadite. I like the music. And I can definitely tell by the captions that you're an Evil Dead fan. xd

So, I beat Siren: Blood Curse tonight... Not gonna lie, I honestly would say that game is one of the best horror games I've ever played, no exaggeration. The story is incredible, especially after you look more into it and piece it together with all the archive items you acquire throughout the game (you have to look for some though!). The gameplay was top-notch, the music was excellent... and again, the story. I just absolutely am floored that this wasn't a candidate for Game of the Year 2008.

How we didn't get Forbidden Siren 2 is beyond me. People should've swarmed when the original came out if it's anything like this... And that's my next project, Siren. I'm gonna start it tomorrow... I can't wait. Like, I've never been this hyped for a survival horror game to be played... I want to play it now, but it's 3:30 and I'm forcing myself to go to bed.

Seriously, if you have a PS3, I will shoot you if this isn't installed on your hard drive within a week.

Chill, Canas. I have it installed. It's been installed. I downloaded it when you recommended it the first time. I concur, it's a pretty good game. The controls and the camera are a little clunky at times, but it's not a huge deal. It's been a tad bit on the easy side for me so far, but I got stuck on the level with the mom after you climb the roof of the hospital. I have no idea where to go, and I have a lot of other games to play through right now, so I haven't got back to it yet. But yeah, it's a good game. I'd recommend it for horror fans as well.

sranger you posted the same thing twice, please don't do that...I know it's rpobably an accident.

Fixed it! Also, Stranger, yeah sorry about that. I was hopped up on Pepsi getting Wii Points from the bottles. I had about four bottles of it last night... sweatdrop

When you climb the roof, sightjack Seigo Saiga and find out the room number they're hiding out in, and then go to the phone where it tells you to on your map. 3nodding
