Saiya opened her eyes and smiled softly at him. "Much thank you." She told him as leaned her head into his hand.

"Good." Kai whispered, leaning down to kiss her. "Get some sleep." he stated quietly as made shifted to stand back up.

Saiya pouted. "Aren't you going to lay down with me?" Hulinn smirked and winked at him. "Yes Kai aren't you going to lay down with her?" She purred with a smirk.
Hulinn was doing it more because of the livid look on Sol's face than any other reason. The girl was fuming that Kai had just kissed the child let alone shown her such affections.

He smiled, ignoring Sol's reaction. "I will in a little bit. But first I have to go make sure we're safe." Kai explained, standing he winked at Saiya where Sol couldn't see. "I'll be back." he promised, his fingers brushing along Saiya's cheeks before he turned for the door.

Saiya sat up. "Wait! You're just gonna leave me in here with them?" She asked him a bit worriedly. Hulinn she wasn't too worried about, if she could fend of Riu she was sure she could hold off Hulinn. It was Sol she was mostly worried over, she knew the look in that woman's eyes. It never ended well for the one it was directed at.

"No, they are going to leave and go to their own rooms." Kai stated, his voice leaving no room for argument though there was bound to be some anyways.

Sol sniffed but left and went to her own room, slamming the door behind her.
Hulinn frowned. "I think it more important that I speak with the girl and tell who I am." She reminded Kai.

"After she gets some rest." he replied, a bit more kindly then earlier. "She's been through alot." Kai stated, walking back over to lay Saiya back down with a kiss to her forehead. "Now try to rest alittle bit. Hulinn and I are going to make sure we're okay here, then I'll be right back."

Saiya frowned but nodded and lay back down. She rolled on her side and tried to get some rest.
Hulinn nodded and rose to follow him out the door. "You need my assistance?" She asked more than a little surprised that he would.

Kai closed the door before turning to face Hulinn. "Yes... And I wanted to make sure you didn't harass any other of the poor people hear." he stated, only partially teasing as he moved down the hall. "Between the two of us we should be able to figure out a way to get out of this whole mess."

"Well the council has what it wants now. All the information out of the girl, you know they are likely to come after her again. Not for you but for her power. The spirit seemed impressed with her and that's never a good thing." She reminded him as she walked with him.

He sighed as he led the way to the conference hall. "I know. Which is why I want you to stay with her when I'm gone." Kai commented as they turned a corner. "You're the only one I know will put her best interest at heart." he added, nodding at one of the guards as he passed.

Hulinn frowned. "Gone? You planning to leave her?" She asked and shook her head. "She won't like that. Not at all, Kai it's not a good idea to leave her. She loves you and I've seen what a woman will do for love." She warned him.

Kai stopped to turn and faced Hulinn. "We both know that once they realize Saiya has blocked them that they might give up trying to catch her. But we both also know that they'll never stop coming after me. I know too much about them and have already shown I don't care for them anymore. They see me as too much of a threat to ever leave me alone now that they know I never really died." he stated calmly. "I'll stay with Saiya as long as I can but we both know that when it comes down to it I'd gladly give up my life for her to live out hers. And the only one I trust to make sure that happens is you."
