And in reply to your rant, yes, we do have like one snow plow for the entire county. The governor was trying to bring in plows and front loaders for surrounding states.
@Hiraru: Don't feel so bad. I was actually planning for Chiasa to go off on Nikoli at some point soon. xd

Estu no kimi  All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches!Let it hereby be announced that:Ukyo, your area = prepared for lots of snow. Our area = Got 10 in more snow than we have EVER gotten... THat should clue you in to how unprepared we are for such snow. That being said, I don't really think we should be out of school today. ...that is all My hometown has only one snowplow. You might think that's not enough, but the pop. for that town is 800(actually, 726 as of 200 cool . With only one broken down plow we can still go through all that and be in school two towns away by noon. Our plows are nearly identical. Makes me think that the people there are either extremely paranoid because they can't see the pavement or the plow drivers are scared shitless.

The town I live in has a population of 9,900 alone. And if there is any icy bus routes in the entire county (pop 25,000) then we don't have school. And I'm pretty sure that we don't have a lot of front loaders, which is what was really needed, since they can't plow park lots and sidewalks, and they won't open school if most of the side walks aren't clear.

Wow. You guys really need to look that over again. Fanatic's town is three times bigger than the town I went to high school in. That town has(last I checked) 6 plows. They might have one or two more since that freak storm in 2007. Our sidewalks NEVER get plowed. At all. And rarely in St. John's. I just had to walk over two kilometers of snowbanks to get home(which explains my current mood) and I practically drowned when I found the pavement. Everything here is not 'county'. If snow hits one town, it might not even bother the town right next to it. Which means schools open in some towns and not others.

Which is why you probably didn't get off as much as we do. Because if one school in the county needs to be closed, all of them will be closed. *shrugs* that's just the way they do it. I don't get why you're getting so riled about this.

Well for starters I woke up...That's never a good sign. That guy in Noveus would not approve that I woke up this morning. Then again, I don't approve of me waking up this morning either...
Got to school and had four classes of 'games' which involved those damn clicker things. I can't wait until my course is over so I can mail that to those guys who microwave s**t and post it on Youtube.
Had a Heme lab of which I had no idea what I was doing.
Went to the nurses office to see when I have to get my last Twinrix vaccination and found out that I'm overdue for it. AND that my student medical insurance doesn't cover me for it...So that's $70 gone to pot.
Got out of school early and took a bus to the mall. Got something to eat and drink there and walked to the manga store to get a manga.
Then I nearly drowned on the way home from assholes splashing me. Heaven forbid I wanted to walk on the side of the road(since the sidewalks aren't cleared).
Got home just in time to realize my once hot chocolate had changed names to cold chocolate. Drank that and got stomach sick.
And I log on Gaia to find jerko in Noveus telling me I'm some cheap amateur who doesn't know how to make good characters nor a good story.
So how was your day?
