Alice shook her head "I'm not hurt...I was there to do what I could to help, as always..." she stared down at him, as her face got serious. She felt her heart heavy, and her throat swollen. " Hopeless...?...Before I came here, there was no place in the world that could deal with me, accept me, or understand what I was. I was that.., but I was...really happy to find this place...I was happier that you didn't abandon me after that first moment I broke out...".

She got off the bed, and headed for the door "I shall do whatever makes you, or the others happy.." she said, a little stuttered. She was planning to head for the library at this point, her confusion, but accepting all facts she knew. "Don't ever say I don't know what it feels like...Waking up to find everyone dead..everyone you knew for a weak, but it couldn't last. Not a single drop of blood...all dead..torn to peices..Not able to remember a thing to even regret..I may not see the deaths, but not remembering it is just as bad..." she said sternly, as she clutched the door knob, more in sorrow than anger.

Alice shook her head slowly, as she closed her eyes "I still choose you...your the first one...I still choose to be your slave...I'm better with you.." she said calmly, as her hands trembled, but she knew it was the truth.

Shou was somewhat trapped. His heart throbbed when he tried to push her away, but when he thought about something happening to her, he felt the need to protect her. "You know that she doesn't love you as much as you do to her." His demonic side explained. "It's useless." Shou looked blank and shocked. "It's useless..." He mumbled. He quickly shook it off, and looked at Alice. "You'll be happier with someone else." He insisted, as pain struck him in the heart. "I'm not one that you should follow and stay with."

The first word hit her "You wouldn't know or understand if it kicked you in the a**!" she cried out, as a couple tears escaped. She didn't want to be seen, as she ran out the door, and holding her book. She ran to the courtyard, as she felt most peace there, she ran out and sat under a tree clutching her book.

She merely stared at the ground, the book covering half her face, she then began to open it and read it. I will remain here to study... she thought, as a couple of tears hit the pages.

A million thoughts wondering through Alice's head, all very painful, but a killer instinct that entered her. She was sad, and angered, as she declared many things she promised to do. I will serve noone else, I will study, I will fight, I will become whole the thoughts went on, as all happyness faded from her, feeling like a wild animal again. The main thought that hit her, as it always has ' Accepted nowhere'

She merely stared at the pages, as her eyes gave off a glowing red, but it dimmed. She began to read, not caring if she was tired or hungry, but thirsty did trace over her mind. She used her teeth, as she cut her hand, and sucked on her own blood just to ease any urge. Suddenly a plan that formed in her mind, it would take awhile, but it would work. Killing a vampire isn't easy, due to fast regeration, but if I turn myself completely human I can. I just have to study and learn I guess, that or become a vampire and send myself into a cold domain forever....My feeling..I finally understand them.. she thought, as she weeped on it.

She stood up, thinking of the idea, a serious face only on her. More evil, as she headed to the library to train That or piss a demon, with demonic weapons off...either way...it wouldn't matter.. she thought, and kept walking. Her innocent face replaced with nothing ,but evil and sorrow, her eyes very red. Thought she thought many things, she would still keep her first words, and know which creatures to treat better.

Shinobu watched them leave. He loves her. My heart... it will burst... Tears ran down her eyes. He had just left, without a word. "Guroji, I ask one favour of you. Any time soon I will... I will take out my heart. Take it with you, and present it to Shou. Tell him, that I died to save the others. Now, please don't say anything. You need to do this last thing for me."

The idea enfolded. "I know you love me, and it is sweet... oh, but my heart throbs so painfully. I cannot live on like this. I am in constant pain, and there is nothing that could cure it. I now know that I will never ever be loved by him, and I do not want to cause you pain by seeing me suffering." She wheezed suddenly as the acceptance spell wore off, slowly. "If I die in pain, I know you will try everything to save me. But my life energy has drained out..."

Shinobu watched him with tired eyes. She closed her eyes, which glowed a little. She sighed and stroked over Guroji's face gently. Her hands glowed a little. "We both know, that the only reason I am talking lucidly is because of the energy. You have many years to live. I don't want to steal them from you. Take back your energy, it is merely wasted on me. I have no more will to live. Take back your years." She smiled sadly and blinked slowly. "Would you want this? Being kept alive by watching the only person that loves you die? Don't do this." She whispered and kissed Guroji's forehead softly.
