Elizabeth's smile faultered slightly as she noticed the grim expression on his face. She didn't move away from him as he tucked a peice of her hair behind her ear, she just stared at him. She suddenly sensed something wasn't right and it made her heart flutter in a none greatful way.

Donovan sighed quietly, seeing the smile fall from her face. He leaned his head forward, turning so his forehead rested against her temple. "I know you don't want to sleep, but you should try," he whispered in her ear. "I'll be here to make sure the nightmares don't bother you."

Elizabeth closed her eyes as she felt his forhead pressed gently against the side of her's. She huffed and shook her head slightly, not wanting to take the risk of the dreams coming back, but at his last words she stopped. "If I go to sleep and I begin having nightmares," she let her arms fall to his his chest pushing him gingerly away. "Then you best wake me." after that she laid down on his bed and closed her eyes.

Donovan, for a second, worried that she would refuse to sleep, even though she needed it, especially when she pushed him away. But, when she spoke, he smiled weakly and nodded. He let her go, watching her lay down. "Sleep tight, mia bella," he whispered.

Before Elizabeth fell asleep the last thing she heard was 'Mia Bella.' She was going to ask what he meant but she was asleep before she even could consider it.
At first she did not dream, but soon replays of the dreams from before began to play once again. Her body began to twitch and her breath hitched every now and again as she slept.

Donovan watched over her, like he'd said he would. He didn't want her tortured by dreams. He knew how painful that could be, and how tiring. So, when she started to twitch, he frowned. He scooted closer and leaned down. His fingertips brushed over her cheek. "Rest easy," he whispered. "I am watching over you."

Elizabeth tilted her head to the small touch as she whimpered lightly in her sleep. She heard his voice in her dreams, as if his voice was angel in the dream.
The tortured and mangled body of Theo suddenly began to ripple and vanish before her eyes. She cried out from her sleep, but she soon became silent as her dreams mind became blank.

Donovan stroked her hair gently, trying to calm her down. When she cried out in her sleep, his eyes widened and he was sure she must have woken up. But, instead, she quieted down completely. He watched her intently for several minutes before deciding that her nightmares had left her. He smiled weakly but continued stroking her hair anyway.

After what seemed only minutes to Elizabeth, but was actually hours, she finally began to stir out of her sleep. Her eyes fluttered slightly before they slowly opened. She rubbed at her eyes gently and gave a small yawn.

Donovan smiled down at Elizabeth as she started to stir. "Morning sleepyhead," he said. "Good to see you survived the night." Now that she was awake, he could get around to his morning ritual. Besides, his mother would want him clean for the 'ceremony'.
Climbing off the bed, he walked over to the adjoining bathroom and pulled open the cupboard, taking out several pill bottles.

Elizabeth sat up on the bed as she followed Donovan with her eyes. She stared at the bottles and gave him a cunfused look. "Hmm, what are those for?" she asked as she slowly scooted toward the end of the bed and sat on her knees and watched him.

Donovan glanced over at Elizabeth, smiling sadly. "Antidepressant, painkiller, two mood stabilizers and I'm not sure what this one is for," he said, holding up one of the bottles. "but it makes me hallucinate for ten minutes after I take it."

Elizabeth's eyes began big blue orbs at his words in shock. She stood up and tried to pull down her shirt as it rided up her sides. With a silent sigh she gave up on the shirt and started to comb her slightly nappy hair with her small finger tips as she continued to watch him. 'Sounds like I might need some of them later on,' she said to herself in her mind as she spoke aloud to him, "If they make you hallucinate would it be smart not to take them?"

Donovan shrugged before popping one pill from each bottle into his mouth and dry swallowing them. "Probably," he said as he started to put the bottles away. Then, he closed the cabinet door. "You're going to want to shower and dress up formally," he told her. "Mother will be coming to collect us soon."

Elizabeth crossed her arms over her chest as she looked over at the door. "Okay, I'll leave you be." she said as she gave a small gesture of goodbye before she left out of the room and headed toward her own.
She took a quick shower and then put on a gentle looking but elegant black dress that had small gold trims. She clipped up her hair into a bun, leaving her long bangs out. She stared into the mirror, staring at herself as she ran her fingers over her face. She signed and putted on a happy face as she slipped black flats on and began to make her way down the hall. It was going to be a long day.
