he got up and walked close to the oracle "i guess i am as ready as i can be." He said as he tried not to think about the last time he went through the trials. He turned to hitomi "good luck" he said with a soft smile then turning to every other person that might be in line to take a trial and wished them luck to. he turned waiting for the oracle to send him on his way.

Lilith looked at the man who called himself Shade. Hearing how deadly it was, it intrigued her to a certain extent. When he introduced her to the gan that attacked the others earlier, she examined them thoroughly.
"So what is your mission, if you dont mind me asking?" she asked him. She soon took a seat still examining them and wondered how they even found out about her. "I'm just surprised that you were able to even know about me...I mean that b***h Morrigan keeps me locked up like a damn dog" she explained. I am not Morrigan...
...I am better than her...I am Lilith!!!

The Oracle laughed. " I hope you all have fun, just remember the simple task of finishing your trial does not mean you are guaranteed a fragment there are only 5 of them and 7 of you, fight hard and pray you are chosen. " he said as he snapped his fingers again. Both Omotayo and Zalain were transported to their own version of the trials. He couldn't help but laugh a little. " Things seem to be picking up the their trials, it's very interesting I think I want to show you. " He said as he waved his arm. 5 screens of light appeared in the center of the table each one revealed another person's challenge.
Fayte's eyes widened at both Destiny's and Akatan's. " Wow that's a little cold I would never murder hi s parent. " He said looking back to Destiny's. " I hope she's alright she cares so much for others. " He said softly.
" We know much more then just who you are. " Shade said as he sat down in a chair. He took his rifle from his back and rested it against a wall. He looked at the others and said. " How did the message go? "
" Perfectly." Another of the men said. " Two of them have our special brands and will suffer as the people of Memoria have suffered. " He said with a small laugh. " Our purpose is very simple actually, we are going to overthrough the current rulers, steal their Great Fragments and revive Memoria, after all it's the other nations damned faults that Memoria is now a twisted hell. " Shade said throguh his helmet.

His finger jabs broke through the dark ground and he lifted his fingers up in an arc shooting at him crescent blades of light. Akatan manages to pass it, but not without receiving a cut across his leg. In his spin, he notices the ground has been covered in ice. Fayte. To make matters worse, his replica was coming at him. With his vision deactivated and his body almost paralyzed by his father, what was he to do except die? He had an idea and the whole time, they were playing into it. A smile spreads across his face, but no smile crossed theirs...

 Kendal Shadowheart
Kendal sighed he had been fighting his double for a little bit and it seemed like his double not only knew his attacks he also was faster and wasn't afraid to show his might. He flew back as he was hit his head seemed to spin for a moment. "How can I beat someone when I can't even hit him" He said. He then thought of the others and what his double had said how could he protect his friends if he didn't know who or what he was. He quickly stood "I can't lose.." He said. He closed his eyes "Pillars of flames grow and merge; Flare zone" He said. He then watched as several flames shot at his double and surrounded him. He sighed it was a welcomed break but he knew it wouldn't last long. He wondered how Fayte had made it through this. He frowned as he noticed his double had broken his spell. "Is this how your going to fight with a bunch of cheap tricks I'll show you magic" He said. His double closed his eyes and then shot a large fireball that sent him flying into a tree. He coughed as he fell to the ground. "First I'm going to kill you and then I'll go after Destiny..although I doubt it would do much she wont miss you much anyway" He said. He held his hand up "Terra..." He began chanting. Kendal shook his head as he wondered if she would miss him. He then remembered something he couldn't die yet he still had a date with Destiny. (Ha what a cliche) He quickly swung his weapon knocking his double back. "No! your wrong Destiny is my best friend..and I wont let you near her" He said. He switched his weapons mode and basically back handed him with it in whip form. "More than that your not me your everything dark everything I thought I was but I know I'm not that..I will never be not when I have people to protect me even if it's from myself" He said. He then flashed as he changed into his divine form "Now die!" He held his hand up "Holy wrath strike from the skies! Cosmic Sniper!" He said. He then watched as an arrow flew from the sky and pierced his double. His double let out a scream as it glowed and then exploded. Only instead of the trail ending the area shifted and he was on to his next part. His only fear was what it was.

forward after Zalain left from sight."I am willing to take the challenge, and of course I will not fail it."she told the Oracle, holding a firm and strong look one her face. She was ready for this and was very determined to win. She would not loose. Hitomi was very confident in her abilities, even though there still was doubt in her heart. She looked back at Morrigan and gave her a reassuring smile, telling her that everything would work out.

" Very well then best of luck, try not to die. " He said as he snapped his fingers yet again. He watchd as Hitomi vanished into a burst of light and disappeared from their sight. Another screen appeared beside the others now representing Hitomi's challenge. " Looks like things are picking up with Kendal and Akatan. " He laughed enjoying the show.

 Destiny
Marlo had been injured as she went towards him, going back into her fragment she looked at the men as she arose into the air, her roulette of Quintessence activated as lightning and fire rained upon the men trying to hurt Kendal and Fayte.
Soon enough though the men had all died. Destiny turned around to look at her brother and Kendal and smiled. "There I saved both of them, now we can let them go" she said" with a smile towards Fayte's Sister. His sister smirked looking at Destiny. You're not the most clever girl...you didn't think it would be THAT easy? she asked her.
To Destiny's surprise Fayte began to freeze the water particles in the air as the began to form into thin, thin beams directed towards Kendal. Destiny couldn't believe this. "Fayte...please stop, you guys are friends" she said as she ran towards them but he had released the ice beams already. Destiny lept in front of the particles being frozen by some particles but was able to distort the others with the fire element.
Kendal soon took out his sword and made particle beams aiming straight at Fayte, a large mound of rock was erected shattering from the beams. She noticed that their were collars on their necks. They began to engage in hand to hand ans sword combat. Destiny had to think because it was looking as if they were going to kill each other.
Blocking off certain attacks, Destiny was getting tired and didn't know what to do. She had an idea though. She was nervous but saw this as her only option. She began to charge towards Kendal and closed her eyes as she ran into him. When she opened her eyes, she had possesed his body. Leaping backwards from Fayte's attacks she put up a small barrier around herself and tried to talk sense into Fayte, but to no avail, she failed.
She had one more option...using Kendal's ability and hers at the same time. Phasing through the collar, Kendal's body fell to the ground as she felt a piercing sensation through her chest. Her eyes widened. A small tear ran down her face though. "See...I was able...to protect them both" she said smiling at Fayte's older sister. Blood stained her clothing as Fayte's collar fell to the ground and he was released. She had succeeded, as long as both of them were safe...she had fulfilled her purpose. Falling to the ground, Destiny lay unconcious.

∫Sumiko wished them all good luck
and then turned to the Oracle when he made the screens. She then looked from
him to those screens, watching everyone's trials. She was glad that she would be
able to keep an eye on them all. But she would not be able to help them so that
made her feel somewhat sad. She slightly looked over at the Oracle. It felt like this
was all just a sick game to him, at least to her it did. She shook the thought away
and continued o watch the trials.∫ ——————————————————

 Morrigan Harkness
Morrigan looked at the screens that the Oracle had made. She had to admit, their trials were very different than the one she had to go through. Maybe because she was used to negativity and horrible things happening.
She waved at Hitomi before she had left. Noticing Akatan's trial she nearly gasped out loud, she was worried for him. How this was a sick trial, even for the Oracle to come up with, but then again, but who was she to question him?
Her empathy had kicked in feeling Mai's feelings as she eyed the "servant" she was not one for bullshit right now, but didn't feel like interogating the young woman right now.

Fayte gasped. " Destiny! " He shouted standing up from his seat.
" Relax she's fine, her trial is over, she suceeded in stopping them from being killed...however. " He said trailing off. He looked towards the screen. He waved his hand out as golden sparks were fired from his hand onto Destiny's screen. She was drawn from her challenge and now rested on the table. " See, she's fine just mentally exhausted I would assume. " He looked at her and thought about what to decide for her challenge score, she had suceeded in saving them but, the way she did it was reckless, she had learned the willingness to sacrifice herself for the sake of few, but she didn't seem to know how to sacrifice few for the sake of many.

In his sight, he cought one more person. His brother who apparently had been accelerated in age to his. He had a mouth and his grin was so sharp it hurt Akatan's eyes to view them.
"I guess you've forgotten about us brother." Thielias said, approaching him slowly. "Becoming a money bag and all. What happened to us? Your family huh? You know dad still hates you, mom doesn't miss you...I think I see why you love it where you are."
"I'm going to kill you..."

Lilith looked at him and then back to the others. When he mentioned the brand she was a little confused. Now she knew why they attacked like they did. They wanted to bring Memoria back to it's former glory. She was still bent on being a ruler though.
Looking at the men she spoke once again. "Okay so what do the brands do? Does it kill people are what? And what is my purpose here with you all right now? I mean, I'm grateful you got me out of that hell hole, but what can I do for you all anyways?" she asked him.
