Jaylin LaQuiel

Jaylin looked at the young boy waiting for his answer, the only answer he was looking for was that of Danny obeying his demand but before he could get it the same dog which had protected him before had now attacked him trying to rip out his throat and since that's the only fatal blow a dog posses besides maybe a disease than it would be hard to put the beast out of commission, not to mention the beast was already dead technically. While fending off the dog Danny managed to answer his demand to only say it couldn't be done and from that moment forward he knew what he had to do. "Wrong choice, this is no game or place for a child!" Jaylin hadn't notice the gun Danny pulled out before due to the fact that the zombie of a dog was blocking his clear vision of the boy but then came the calling out of Elle's younger sister, Erin made him remember that they were in a middle of a war, which he will have to thank her for shortly after this was done and over. The moment the first shot was fired is the very same moment when he used his blade dance ability to dodge the bullets leaving an after image in his place, this after image was a mere mass of his energy which was one of the skills of the Greaves he wore and about time the boy would realized Jaylin would be behind the young owl unharmed. While appearing behind the boy Jaylin immediately when on the attack, he was prepared to dodge if the young owl went on to attack him by while the ravaging mutt was still trying to attack him he had a choice. Jaylin's right arm was cocked back, thrusting forward he punched down towards the boys stomach with the intention to knock him unconscious, Danny was still young and shouldn't be in this situation, at least that was Jaylins opinion so knocking the boy out would be the next best thing other than killing him. "That isn't enough." He told himself, Jaylin was longing for that thrill, that rush he fiends for and just getting shot at wasn't enough though it was a start.

Kojiro grimaced as the statue would no longer even move,"....Too much..." he mumbled, it was too much of a burden on his energy, he soon realized he was once again under attack, he had once last Idea that would not make this a complete blunder, he put his hands up in defense and became shrouded in ice. Soon the flames hit and destroyed the Dragon, The ice surrounding Kojiro soon began to break away as well, however nobody was underneath the armor any longer, From the side, Kojiro then bolted towards dragon, covered in a light armor and armed with a broadsword and a shield, "I'm not even close to done yet!" he shouted as he sliced his blade in the air, creating a crescent shaped ice wave, headed straight for the dragon, Kojiro followed close behind, as he lunged into the beast, trying to pierce it with his blade.

Cecilia could already see that this fight would be no walk in the park and that suited the blue cosmic girl just fine. Better to fight a strong opponent than to fight one that was weak. A powerful pulsation traveled throughout Cecilia's body and down her arm towards her hand allowing the energy blast a boost in power. She managed to disperse the electrical attack, but it seemed the Weather Witch had more tricks up her sleeve as a dense fog surrounded them cloaking Aaliyah. Cecilia would have to be careful. Her opponent could throw electrical attacks and if Cecilia was struck while using her chain whip, it wouldn't be good news for the young Cosmic Owl. Cecilia's dark pink lips curled into a smirk as she began to manipulate the gravity around her. The fog began to lift itself and part allowing her to see where her opponent was. Cecilia then used her gravitational abilities to attempt to weigh Aaliyah down and make it harder for her to move before she fired another blast at her, this time twice as powerful and twice as fast.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2011 12:45 am

Aaliyah was moving sharply through the fog as she was planning on how to strike next. She then began to feel heavy. Not this again she thought to herself as she had fought the herald of gravity several times before. She closed her eyes as her body was in place and falling down due to the increase of gravity. She was soon hit by the comsic energy as it felt like burning on Aaliyah's skin, she could do nothing as of now. Opening her eyes an electrical current surrounded her body as it radiated towards Cecilia in 360 degree waves. Lightning continued to fall from the sky striking Aaliyah serving as a lightning rod, a sort of socket that would allow the lightning to channel through her and be released as well.

(Heh, you called Che Moli.)

"Shut up! She's right there!" Che called back to Victoria. He was too busy slinking backwards to acknowledge what the herald had asked, but once it sunk it, he answered swiftly. "Herald of Fire over there! If you see...a lion grazing in the grass...would you run? You're human now! Think about this!" The scared owl moved over the uneven rubble almost falling onto some broken glass. They needed to move quick and keep their powers low if they were going to escape without a fight of some sort. "I'm sure that because she's here, they're all here...."

Thomas was pressed against the fourth floor's stairwell wall panting for his breath. He'd been walking for almost half an hour now and fifteen of those minutes were spent lugging a rather old sniper rifle. It was still of this century, but no longer was it used in the military. Before gaining his more deadlier power, Thomas was a star sniper along with Che and a few others. Now, he was ready to brush the dirt off of old faithful and see how many Owls he could pick off in the little time they had. The old Owl was now on the seventh floor, cursing beneath his breath at the next three floors he'd have to climb to get to the roof. He did manage to keep a smile though for he knew many in the area were dying and dying fast. The essence of death always brought a sinister smile to the psycopath's ghostly white face.

The dragon watched the ice replica melt under the burning sensation of it's silver flames. During the entire fight it hadn't moved an inch, whiskers aside of course. It looked down as Kojiro ran towards it. The dragon's sheer size meant it needed to be fough on a massive scale. It's tail whipped through the air as it smashed clean through the ice cut, the fragments of ice fell to the ground in a glittering display. The beast continued to stare down at Kojiro, it didn't move as Kojiro's blade pierced it's first layer of silver scales. The dragon lowered his head until it was level with Kojrio's position. It blinked once as it stared at the Owl. It didn't move other than that, the dragon was not a fighter at heart, aside from the fight it had been in with Anderson it had never been used directly as a weapon, only it's powers which Anderson manipulated. The dragon seemed to relax as it looked towards the wound which leaked a small amount of red blood onto the silver scales covering it's body. It was almost like it was just observing Kojiro, which infact it was that was it and nothing more. With it's sheer size the dragon knew that Kojiro would need to change tactics drastically to cause more harm and even if he pumped ice into his veins his head was so close to Kojrio that he could bite his head clean off his shoulders, but the dragon had absolutely no intention of doing that to this frozen Owl.

Sitting atop a bent light fixture with her fingers running through her lnng black hair was Radiant, who along with Phantom had finally made it to the battlegrounds. "Looks like we missed the beginning." She said to her counterpart who was on the ground below leaning on the bent pole.
"It' alright, no harm done besides the fun has just begun. Look." he said as he pointed to the horizon.
"Oh? Looks like you're right. But I think we should leave this fight to them, we have no reason to be in this one, well we have the obvious reason but other than that there is no reason." She said as she watched what Phantom had pointed out unfold.

In the time he had disappeared in a cloud of mist Lucien had been very busy indeed. He smiled as he walked through the fog and darkness, following behind him seemed to be a mob, but a mob of what? It was infact Owls, owls who had recently joined the Fallen Phoenix, they were following him like soldiers, dozens of them. "I command you all, attack!" He pointed forward. The owls in unison said. "Yes Sir!" They each fired up their own power and charged forward, they were all under Lucien's optical manipulation power, they were his puppets to command, a mutiny that none of them were aware they were apart of. "I wonder, will the Fallen Phoenix's be able to kill their own soldiers? Oh well it doesn't matter, unless they kill their own soldiers, the soldiers will kill them." He laughed loudly as his soldiers began to fire their attacks on their own former teammates, the Fallen Phoenix's army would be thrown into disarray.

Lucien himself had started up enough trouble, he used another of his many powers as a pair of black feathered wings formed on his back. He flapped them a few times as he took off into the air, he looked down at his handiwork the seeds of dicourt had been layed. He laughed again as he turned towards the much more titanic fight scene going on farther to the south, he however didn't see the point in entering it, they looked as if they were having a load of fun just the way they were. From his vantage point he could see a few figures in what appeared to be a broken down bar, he couldn't make them out though, but luckily the bar had no roof. He smiled a little, dispersing into mist he flew downward he didn't want to be detected just yet, but he was still just as curious. he had no intention though of fighting first hand, he had enough fighting for a while on Exire and in his previous trip to New York.

"Oh ********> Cecilia muttered as she was surrounded by electrical attacks. She had already used up a lot of energy while struggling to keep the plane slowed down and the more she manipulated the gravity around her, the more energy she lost. Cecilia prepared herself for the blow, however, it never hit her. Instead, a strange gravitational force field erected itself, deflecting the electrical attacks. However, almost as soon as it was erected, it was gone again and Cecilia, who did not know how it happened, would not be able to summon it again for now. At least not until she learned how to fully control it, which would not be any time soon. It seemed that Cecilia had her work cut out for her.

((Oh oops lol))

Victoria's eyes widened when Che had said what he had said. She nodded as she began to run off. If worse came to worse, the psychic link she had estabilshed would prove most useful. A few OWLS tried to attack her as she waved her hands all of them falling to the ground. She then focused on Che as she picked him up telekineticly. "Get it together Che and let's go" she yelled.

Aaliyah could feel the gravity weaken as she was now back to her flight. She then took out her staff that expanded as the tips glew with a violet energy. She flew towards Cecilia as she began to twirl the staff. The disruptive energy was wielded around as she continued to twirl hoping to hit Cecilia on multiple occasions, even throwing in a few kicks with the barrage of assaults.

"Heh, it's all...I have Andy!" Soliel yelled down at Anderson as he tried to slice the beast's neck. He wouldn't have spoken to an enemy that he didn't like. Andy was one of the few challenges Sol has had to face in a long time. Back to the problem at hand...anything right would help in trying to take down the giant leather handbag that was his opponent's minion, heat or otherwise. After hearing that his main mode of attacking wouldn't do much, Soliel's battle plan changed instantly and accordingly. He brought the reign back up with his right hand and whipped it into the monster's left eye leaving a hot welp from where he sat to it's eye. From there, he slid down it's back and whipped at Anderson's shins and shoulders. Looking past the cosmic, he called out to Kojiro. "Koji! Don't fight the monsters! Fight the master! Change of plans kid!!"
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2011 1:28 am

As Soliel's magma like whip smacked the creatures eye it roared thunderously it raised it's claws towards it's injured eye, no matter how use to heat it was it's organs weren't. It glared furiously at Soleil with it's right eye. It shot forward as a charged beam began to form in it's mouth again. Like the dragon it took a few seconds but finally the beam was ready it fired a mighty black beam from the depths of it's mouth straight up at Soliel. Anderson was suprised that he finally realized that Anderson was the one to be fighting, however he was not controling these beasts they were acting fully on their own, such was the life of a familiar. He instantly leapt backwards, tucking his legs in to avoid the shot's to his shins. His shoulder however wasn't as lucky. the singing noise of an intense burning feeling shot throughout his body. He gasped as his hand immediately went to his shoulder. The magma was cooled and brushed away, when Anderson removed his hand instead of tender flesh or muscle as one would expect there was just a black energy like substande, speckled with white dots to resemble the night sky. "What?!" Anderson said as he looked down at his injured shoulder. It his him there that he hadn't taken any serious damage sense he had received his dragon spirit, was this a side affect of it's might? or a price that was to be payed for it's power?

Cecilia knew that she would be able to staive off Aaliyah's attacks for she was much faster while in the air than she was on the ground. As Aaliyah advanced upon her, Cecilia began to dodge the barrage of attacks. Some of the attacks grazed her, but the pain she felt was minor allowing her to continue blocking. Because Aaliyah was a few inches from Cecilia, the young blue girl fired another cosmic blast towards her opponent. Part of Cecilia wished that this woman was fighting alongside her instead of against her. Aaliyah would have been a great asset to The Night Owls, but the path she took was much different and a path that the TNO did not agree with.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2011 1:38 am

Aaliyah continued but as the blast headed for her, she had to think, pointing the end part of the staff towards Cecilia, the blast hit Aaliyah, part of the attack was ionized by the staff's property but she definitely felt the blow as she felt a tinge in her arm, perhaps it was broken from the impact. She looked at Cecilia. "Tell me...why do you fight with them?" she asked. Aaliyah had a prior experience with working with the Night OWLs but things didn't work out the way they should have.

"You attack us because we are fed up with the way humans treat OWLs....because we don't have the same ideals on how to achieve the same goal? This is just what humans want to have division amongst us OWL bretheren" she told the young cosmic OWL. "They hate you not because of your acts but because of your DNA...forcing people to hide who they are in order to be safe, we should never had to be subjected to things like that" she said trying to be diplomatic. "There may have been innocent people, but where are the people trying to help innocent owls when they are killed by humans. Some people's mutations aren't even noticeable while others are clearly noticeable" she said referring to Cecila. "A young girl once, had the power to see through walls, killed by a group of thugs for no reason. She couldn't hurt anyone with her abilities but did humans care? No they didn't" she explained. "No matter what you do for the humans at the end of the day you're a freak, you could have saved them from an asteroid in space and they still would turn on you like a rabid dog." she finished.

Cecilia listened as Aaliyah spoke to her. This was the first time the Storm Owl had spoken since their one on one battle began. Cecilia could have attacked her while she was speaking, but felt that she owed her opponent an explanation as to why she was attacking her. "I do not want to attack you," Cecilia said, an underlying remorseful tone underlying her voice. "Yet, I believe that what you are doing is wrong. Yes, I have witnessed firsthand the way humans perceive us, the way they fear us and want us dead. Yet I know that not all humans are the same. I know this for my own grandparents were human. They knew what I was and yet they still cared for me. But I do realize that everywhere I go, I will be judged for not only my appearance, but for my abilities as well. This has not stopped me from doing my best to protect them, however." I failed to protect the life that I lost, but I will not fail to protect those that are still alive that I care about, she thought to herself. She readied herself again. "That is why I will do whatever it takes to stop you."
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2011 1:57 am

The Cosmic OWL had her points but Aaliyah was fixed in what she believed. "I have given you your moment to come to your senses but alas, I fear that you are deeply faithful in what you believe and so do I" she said. Her eyes glew once more as the rain began to pick, falling at a dangerous rate. Aaliyah's hand glew as she extended it, a blast of artic air was being projected towards Cecilia.

Soliel had finally landed on the ground from his fall. The beast behind him he could writhing in pain. Good. It brought a burning smile to his flourescently glowing lips. "Just when I thought that monster was invincible...it proves to me that it--what the..." After striking Anderson against the shoulder with his whip, he expected for him to be following in the steps of his beast behind him. Crying out in anguish. Instead, there was a dark liquid seeping from his wound. "You kid...you. I'm guessing you were a magician in your past life? World's luckiest man?" Soliel jeered.

The ground beneath the magma owl began to burn and smoke as his heat became too much for it. He was purposefully sinking into the ground to prep another attack, one that he hadn't used in a while. The monstrosity behind him attack. Apparently, it couldn't see that it's master was standing only meters infront of it's target. The top of Soliel's head was shaved off, but due to his lava form taking the hit, it was not at all deadly. Before Soliel would return to the offensive, he wanted to see how Anderson would handle an attack from his minion. He expected him to come out unscathed, but the mere moments that the cosmic took to contend with the beast were all the moments he needed to have a battle plan.

"Hot damn! Got me another!" Thomas exclaimed to himself as he took down two more Owls that were headed to the fray. He hadn't wasted any of the seven bullets that he'd used. Four were headshots and the remaining three were upper body shots. One was far deadlier than the other, but Thomas was taking whatever he could. After taking down one more Owl, a young teen with the ability to liquify objects, he sat up and reloaded his gun, struggling to keep his bushy locks from his face. He looked up once, bullets sticking from his mouth and caught the sight of Aaliyah and Cecilia. "Oh...more stupid little Owls..." Thomas looked away, then back up again with suprise the bullets flew from his mouth and landed near the edge of the rooftop. That was far from important. What was were the two luscious targets about a mile and a half away from himself.

"Big fish here...look at'em...." Thomas identified the two combatting Owls. One was Aaliyah, the channel ten weather girl for the Fallen Phoenix. The other was Cecilia, the cosmic plum that was the replacement for Alyss on Roulin's team. They hadn't seen him and thank goodness they hadn't heard him. He was pretty far away though so either was highly unlikely. "Alright my little darlings...." began Thomas as he filled his rifle's magazine up and pressed it into the base of the gun. He layed down, rested his head agains the butt of the gun and started to take aim adjusting his zoom accordingly. Even at full zoom, they looked almost like action figures. If he could land this, he was sure he'd be breaking a world record. Not that he cared. The only thing important to him now was killing these two Owls dead and breaking a few hearts...

After setting his sights on the weather girl, Thomas held his breath and did so with a grin that was as maniacal as his mental state. Bang.... The bringer of death squeezed the trigger and the round shot from the bullet leaving a faint trail of steam sailing behind it. It was only a matter of seconds before the weather witch, Aaliyah, would be down for the count.
