I've never won anything in my life that involved a game of chance except for Physics Bingo (I got a green sticky frog, which I think is going to fall down on me while I sleep and I'll either freak out or eat it).

well throwing the fact that i already won a partial prize. i think the majority of the contests are directly related to dedication, motivation, and lack of laziness, rather than chance or skill.

I was in this guild since the very beginning, around April, and I thought I never had a chance. In July I won twice, in the same week, and I don't know what chance I have of wining again, but never say never. ;]

If you enter in a contest, you have a chance of winning. One of the times I won I was chosen from active members with over 100 posts. The second time was from an avatar contest.
