Byako Moonbase ~The RP~

[Sou Jara]

Lutia grabbeed Peluchie by the scruff of the nech as he began to float past to keep him from getting to far ahead from the group. Seeing the lizards emerge, Lutia sent Peluchie flying into space behind her as she aimed her mana gun at the lizard men.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?"
Lutia said in a commanding tone of voice. Her other hand behind her back, Lutia was ready to draw another weapon to defend herself if the lizard men foolishly tried to attack.

At the sound of Lutia's voice the Lizards like aliens spin around and shoulder large spear shaped weapons. A few seconds later blue spheres of plasma rip down the hallway towards the Jarians as the aliens open fire.

Ready for this in case they were hostiles, Lutia drew her ring and as the gunfire shot towards them, a handful of Jarian beads appeared and spread out to the corners of the hall, creating a circuit of energy to protect the Jarians.

The two aliens mantian fire trying to overwhelm Lutia's sheild. Soon three more aliens join the fight. Streaks of green plamsa light up the hallway is a eerie light as they streak towards them. One of the aliens hurls a s sphere like device at the sheild. It beeps for a coulpe of seconds before exploding pouring raw plasma across the sheild.

The shield shorts out from the explosion but Lutia had a second row of beads behind it that activate, absorbing the additional force of the explosion. Opening a small gap near the wall, Lutia began to return fire with her mana gun.

They Aliens dive behind random crates for cover. One of the Aliens was too late and took a mana round to the face killing it. The other four though contuined to fire when they felt they had a openeing. A door hisses open a bit behind them and two more aliens steps out equipped with strange bladed weapons.

P-51 grabbed her comrade-in-fandom Peluche by the collar of his trenchcoat when Lutia tossed him behind her, thereby stopping him from floating farther back and possibly getting in the way of the Jarians there.

"Careful there." she said, then was silent for a few moments, simply lost in a fan-moment-of-awe watching Lutia fight.

"Oh, right." she said, blinking and somewhat coming out of it. "I'm supposed to be helping!"

The crazy little girl flipped a switch on her breathmint-firing machine gun, that moved a chamber inside to ready a different kind of ammo for firing. It was now on "winterfresh" setting, which meant that it would fire mints that were softer and more harmless, but still obnoxiously distracting in large quantities.

P fired (100-mints-a-second) near the wall where there was a small gap, making a lot of the mints ricochet through to the side the lizard men were on, where the mints ought to bounce around a bit and create some kind of havoc.

Meanwhile... a lot of winterfresh mints also bounced back off the wall and the shield, to ricochet around the Jarians... most especially everyone who wasn't up near Lutia's side of the shield, though some of the mints might have made it around and back up to that side, especially if they bounced off of Peluche.

Najah floated quietly behind Arroa and the rest of the Jarian party. Being in zero gravity frightened her more than she thought it would. For one, she had no idea what would happen if she tried to cast magic in this place. Would it bounce in every direction? Implode (though that would be fun)?
For now, she kept in the rear utilizing her staff's second function; pulling off the handle that revealed a short dagger while the larger adorned part was a normal stick.

She tried her best to keep up in sight with all the mints flying everywhere. It was...rather hard....
She waved her hand to push away some mints that had slowed down near her hoping to see more of the action.

Most of the Aliens were forced to stay ducked down under the barrage of mana shots and winterfresh mints. The four aliens behind them didn't have that problem, two of them charge the Jarians form behind.

After firing a few seconds' worth of winterfresh, P-51 stopped to look around her machine gun at the aliens who had taken cover. Maybe if the mints kept bouncing around for a bit there on the other side of the shield Lutia had put up, they might keep distracting the aliens just a little bit longer.

P-51 turned to see if Peluche was still behind her, and momentarily lost her grip on her machine gun in her astonishment.

"INCOMING!" she shouted, fumbling to grab her weapon again, before it could have a chance to drift away from her.

"eek.."
Najah almost backed into Arroa trying to gain distance from the aliens coming from behind. Now, instead of being furthest from the fight, she was the closest! She instinctively grabbed some mints floating in front of her and threw them at the aliens.

The mints ineffectively bopped the alien's in the head, but nothing else.
Najah laughed out loud to cover her embarrassment. "Silly me....", she muttered as it dawned upon her on what help she could be. Noticing P-51 regain her gun, Najah brought her staff in front of her, re-attaching the dagger.
"Rise and shine!" she sang happily, no pun intended as a ball of light formed at the crest of the moon-shaped staff and flew at the aliens; purpose to blind them and not the other Jarians.

The Aliens immdeiate stop their charge to sheild themselves form the light.

The ones in front of the jarians attempt to hurl more plasma gernades in attempt to break the Jarian sheild.

P-51 managed to get a good grip on her machine gun again, and while the lizard men were distracted by Najah's ball of light, she switched the setting again. This time, she put it on "peppermint", which meant that the mints fired would have a stronger flavor and scent, but also more importantly... these were more likely to shatter upon impact with the walls, rather than ricocheting around like the winterfresh variety. They'd be less likely to shatter when hitting anything with any sort of give to it, like fabric or skin. And they were harder than the winterfresh, so more likely to actually hurt when someone got pelted with them, and highly likely to blind someone if they took a direct hit to the eye.

P-51 took aim, and fired at the lizard men before they had finished recovering from shielding themselves from the light.

Focusing her atention on the ring, Lutia sent out a number of Jarian beads independently which pushed through the shield and slammed into the grenades, sending them flying back at the alien menace.

Glancing behind her momentarily at the other threat, Lutia bit her lip. Concerned for the safty of her Jarians, Lutia could do nothing but focus on the problem before her.

Meanwhile during all this, Peluchie floated aimlessly around the hallway, miraculously dodging mints and gun fire and his team members as he spun around the gravity-less ship, bouncing off the walls when he hit them.
