Squad 4: 1st Mission ((only my squad))

Tori didn't say anything, but tightened her grip on the katana. Her muscles tensed, there was something about the chill in the air that bugged her. The temple itself seemed to have an atmosphere of death to her.

Hikari sensed Tori's uneasiness and couldn't help but feel the same.
She thought,"This better not end badly...."
She shook her a little bit and focused on the mission again.

Mikyo walked down the long corrador when he came upon five more Guardians.

"well...not as we suspected..."

Mikyo looked up to see that the robbers bodies were torn appart and strung from the roof.

"...well they couldnt get through 8, 9, 10..."

juast as Mikyo said that a small figure scurried across the floor(about the size of a very small human.)

"watch it!"

Mikyo took out a small pole with five curse Marks on it.

"cover your eyes....and ears."  

[Spectrum Love]

*Wizzard took cover*  

[Oni_Soul]

"OUT OF THE SHADOWS!!!"

20 figures stepped out of the shadows carrying verious weapons.

"clones. no one attack, their your shadows. and theres only one way to beat the ones who hide in the dark..."

Mikyo held out the rod and a light started to emitte from it.

"now would be the time to cover yoru eyes."

Hikari immeadiately did what she was told and covered her eyes.

Tori squeezed her eyes shut and covered her face with one arm. Something told her that this would not end well.

Mikyo jumped onto the wall and appeared on the cealing, performing rapid handsigns. he took the rod and thrusted it into the ground where the shadows were mostly constentrated. just as the rod hit the ground a pillar of pure light alluminated the room blinding everything and destroying the shadows.

"1...2...3..4....5, you can open your eyes."

the room was still lite up by the pillar of light, so that the 8th Guardian could be seen.

"this is one of the Guardians..."

it looked like a small demon standing about 3ft tall. so skinny that you could almost see every bone in it's body and it's wings were somewhat ripped.

"dont hurt it...he will let us pass."  

[Torokukat]

Tori removed her arm back to her side. "What is it?"  

[Spectrum Love]

LEt get going and get out. This place is giving me the creeps.  

[Torokukat]

"We need to finish our mission first."  

[Spectrum Love]

That what I mean. Get the mission over and get out.

the demon moved to the side as Mikyo walked passed it.
"the next guardian might attack us. so dont attack until he attacks us first."

Do they have a certain weakness?

"its hard to say...i realy dont know."
Mikyo kept walking down the corredor until he reached a door.
"i dont know whats on the other side...so be on your guard."
Mikyo pushed the massive door open and light flooded the room.
"its an old arena..."
looking much like a Roman Arena where gladiators fought to the death, the Arena was old and crawling with vines and plants. it had no roof so the light was always showing through.
"well...wheres 9 and 10?"
