[Zombie Mark]

It's a great reboot the the Star Trek franchise. Director J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias, Cloverfield) said that he wanted to make a Star Trek film for Non-Star Trek fans. He did it in a way that only alienated some of the old Trekkies.

That's what Alex said, that they pulled it off really well. I dunno, I'll probably end up watching it when he gets it on DVD. He gets almost EVERY movie that comes out - he must have over 2000 DVDs in his collection now.

I know how that is, I have so many of them it's hard to keep up with them.

I just kind of watch whatever Alex wants to, unless I'm in the mood for something particular. He's gotten me into a lot of movies I wouldn't have watched otherwise.

I got two shocks out of my mom. A couple of years ago, I got her to like the Tremors movie then just the other week, I got into Deadliest Warriors on Spike TV.

We got my mom to watch Blue Harvest the other night. biggrin

Your talking Family Guy, Right? Or am I missing a show?

Yep, Family Guy. I'm surprised she liked it so much, she was cracking up the whole move.

That was a great episode. I still can't believe that Seth MacFarlane got Rush Limbaugh to actually do a voice in that episode.

I know. xd My dad hates Family Guy - he thinks it's worse than it is. And it did use to be pretty bad, as far as I understand, but it seems to have toned it down slightly.

I actually have the first four seasons. If anything, they've gotten even more wild.

I just finished watching most of the first four with Alex. I think maybe it's the fact it seems to be more funny than just relying on crude humor and fart jokes. Maybe?

3nodding I'm not into tv too much - haven't been for a few years - but there are a few shows I like. Mostly law ones, like L&O: SVU and The Closer. Other than that, I watch Simpsons on DVD and Family Guy on both.

Just watched Robots with Alex, cute movie. (To get sort of back on-topic...) And I'm supposed to watch The Marine with him when we get a chance.

Robots was a good movie. The Marine, not so much. It's a good action flick, but that's about it. Cena's next film 12 Rounds was really good.
