Magma Plains (formerly lava pits)

lutia put away her weapons and began breathing slowly
she then ran forward and jumped over a rising sawblade only to have a pair pendulums swinging from oposite sides towards her

Loryn made swift cuts the along the poles holding the pendulums, causing them to fall to the ground and collapse. She smiled softly.  

[Sou Jara]

lutia touched the ground and made a rolltowards the door and attached the device which sent the door to the jarian armory
"alright lets see whats inside"
lutia walked in to see a giant laser cannon with a plaque
"the sister ray"  

[Lori Naoi]

Loryn looked it over. 'What...?"  

[Sou Jara]

lutia was thoughful for a moment and picked up an old newspaper laying on the ground
"midgar news:
shinra using its large materia cannon the sister ray broke the barrier on the northern contienent but shinra tower was destroyed in the process"

she handed it to loryn "aparently they either rebuilt it or found the blueprints...a weapon this powerful is something we have to store away in the clan base"  

[Lori Naoi]

"Lutia..." She said softly.  

[Sou Jara]

she smiles "let us finish the mission first in case of any other defenses okay?"
lutia hands loryn two of the devices "just put them on the oposite side of it" lutia then proceeds to follow her own instructions placing the devices on on side of the cannon  

[Lori Naoi]

She nodded and placed the devices. "Are we going to have to walk back?"  

[Sou Jara]

she shook her head "getting in was the tricky part and since we still have a few of these telaporters left..." she smiled as the cannon desapeared and walked over handing one of the devices to loryn
"we will just head back the fast way"  

[Lori Naoi]

"So...i just press this button here?"  

[Sou Jara]

she nodded "yes that button there"  

[Lori Naoi]

"Right." she took it in her hand and pressed the button.  

[Sou Jara]

lutia watched as loryn desapeared and followed after with the press of a button

He arrived just as Lutia and Loryn left, sighing softly. At least they wouldn't have to face the horrors of Memnon's dark mind. The vault was empty now except for the presence of evil that continued to invade his senses. Thankfully his senses were still funtioning well enough for him to duck and avoid the large claw that rushed past, pivoting as he rose and cleaving the creature neatly in two with his halberd.

More creatures entered the room as he dismissed the halberd, summoning instead his katana, using his left hand to summon a tendril of blue flame as his eyes began burning with righteous fury. He stared the creatures down as they circled around him, preparing to strike.

"Do not go gently into that good night..."

He smiled...

Memnon watched with a scowl as Raziel massacred his creatures. The bird has obviously grown in strength since their last encounter. Memnon strode from his make-shift throne room as he summoned his twin great axes. He would have to clip some wings.
