Also; I really. Really really really. Would like it if they somehow released a console version of pokemon that was actually like the handheld versions but with Pkmn Colleseum graphics.
I want to catch my pokemon dammit. Not steal them.

(Also; a spin off or two would be nice. What if there was a game in which you belonged to the villian syndacate, and you had to work your way up? C'mon. You know it'd be neat. Also; a game in which you actually groom and breed your pokemon would be nice, but it'd be rather limited...(think Amity Square in D/P/Pl) and the idea has long since become un original. I still want it.)

Also as for the pokemon following your thing. I think they're going to pull a yellow. Only the starter pokemon will follow you around. When you have it in your party. Only because it could get very compicated size-wise. Though you can't deny that having a ******** Steelix following you around would be the most hardcore thing ever. Although really; I contridicted myself a bit.

You could use any pokemon (think of Mystery Dungeon), it just wouldn't be scaled properly. Lol.

Every time you battled a trainer, they'd find themselves with ** amount of the 6th item in their backpack once you left.

People would be inviting you to Poké Marts left, right, and center.

No, I want to see the biggest Pokemon by far following a teeny tiny trainer. They had to resize the thing to fit the field in Colosseum and XD and it was still damn huge. You'd probably barely be able to fit its smile on the DS screen.

Also, I feel the need to mention hot Skitty on Wailord action. Just because.

The internal battery on the cartridges for GSC all wore out faster than other games because the game had to keep the internal clock going.

So THATS why I cant play it anymore!!! I finally figured it out!!!!

SORRY FOR QUOTING SUCH AN EARLY POST... but... I played my gold and silver a lot.. (still do).... and they still aren't dead. I and my brother bought them when I was ten and he was six years old when they first came out... O_o;

... holy crap... *also feels old*

(also, I'm one of those people who love red, blue and yellow most of all the GB pokémon games... still play them from time to time. Especially my loved yellow!)

Apparently, if you kept playing the games regularly the batteries lasted longer, but if you hadn't played the games in a number of years it meant almost certain death for the cartridge... I saw a site a while back showing you how to replace the battery yourself if you've got a soldering gun and some luck. XP
