"I never said to fear it really, I was just saying... She pursed her lips in frustration for it seemed her 'smart' act didn't do much. Besides, she didn't care, Mayloo needed him for something. Finding a nearby chair she sat and waited while gesturing for them to hurry up.
Mayloo gave herself a smile while the blush still remained. "Thank you" She said quietly before walking on, hoping he'd follow. Her path intended didn't seem very clear, but it was atleast direct for she knew where her stuff was. Knowing Vence was following her, she didn't keep much of a fast pace.
But before she approuched the patch of plants in which her stuff was nestled in, she couldn't help but turn to Vence. "You know...I changed my mind. I really wouldn't mind traveling after all. My home is to restrictive, and although the world is alittle hectic, it's better free then coddled." Mayloo smiled sweetly and hugged him. "We'll just go without the elf"

Vence was a little caught off gaurd by the hug, but he accepted it, regardless. he couldn't help but give a small hug back. For some reason, in the back of his mind, he was sort of glad she decided to travel anyway. For the good majority of the two or three years he had been wandering around - he had already lost count - he had been doing so alone. Once in a while he'd hang around with some other travelling parties, or find some merchant nomads and stick with them for a while, but it was never a friendship type thing; it was out of neccessity. With one exception, it was never travelling with another person for no reason but because they could.
Theil...I wonder how he's been, He thought to himself. Returning to reality thoguh, he spoke up.
"Freedom is much better than chains," He agreed, nodding his head slightly. "And I'll have to agree with you; She's a bit too edgy for my liking... and I really dont like it when girls cling to me," he added, remembering how she had refused to let go of his hand.

The return in embrace was felt as she eventually allowed him to slid away from her hands, atleast alittle. For some reason her hand stil lingered upon his loosely, atleast until he mentioned clingy girls.
Her hand fell away and she crossed her arms while turning again to pull the bag of stuff from the nearby plants. She smiled shyly and slung the bag onto her back. "Well then I shall break the chains now" And with that, she began walking off towards the outer bounder of the castle grounds, atleast, until she froze, unsure of where to go.
"Any ideas?"

[Aw, Mayloo must've not known he didn't mind her. whee ]
Vence followed Mayloo to where she stopped, a small smile on his face. Break the chains. That could be used in so many ways, even for himself. It's a good idea, he thoguth to himself.
"Of where to go? Anywhere is good, but if it is based on a aplace to stay for a while, I say either Bankridge or Evehheir. I have friends in Bankridge that'd be glad to let us stay for a while, and as for Evehheir, anyone is welcome there."
He glanced back, making sure Sphinx was following along, realizing they intended to leave her. It would be good if she didn't.
"I need to grab my stuff too, though, but that's down in town. I rented a room at a hotel for two days, yesterday and today. I can grab my stuff and leave anytime, since I paid for it already," Vence added. Travelling without the neccesary supplies was not good, and without any defence was even worse. True, he had his magic, but he would rather use something more material and less dangerous on himself. [I might add another character, too. Yes, a third for myself, but it's no problem for me. xp ]

((She secretly knew...XD))
She listened to his suggestions and weighed the differences."Wouldn't Bankridge be so much closer? Besides...Evenheir is through the forest, and that kind of environnment at night wouldn't seem wise"
She put her bag upon the ground and kneeled besides it to look for something. "Um..just stay here, I'll be right back." Getting back up with some clothes within her hands, she went off to go hide behind a nearby wall to get changed into a more casual comfortable look instead of the dress she wore. Once that was done, she came out wearing shorts with a similiar short white shirt ((photo pretty much)).
It was funny really, a shy like person wearing an outfit that covered only what was necessary. Mayloo came for her bag once more and shoved the dress in there, appreciative that it was off. "As for your stuff, we shall go. But if I may ask, why can't you stay in the hotel for the night if you've already paid for it, wouldn't you just have to leave early in the morning before they charge again?" Once more, her hand dove into her bag and she held a small pouch out towards Vence. "If not then, my treat. Then we can wake in the morning and begin towards another place during day"
Sphinx sat there, knowing they were going to abandon her. She sighed and stood up, knowing that she could track them by what they were thinking. A little smirk was what she wore while making her way to the hotel ahead of them. She wasn't going to reveal herself just yet cause a morning surprise visit would seem way more better.
((O.o A third?? lol XD ok))

"Well, I'm guessing that Sphinx already knows by now. If she won't pop up anytime yet, she'll pop later for sure," Vence said, doing his best not to sound too surprised by her new look. It seemed unlike her, but at the same time, it seemed to fit her personality of what he knew so far.
"And I always leave a tip for people. Consider the extra money the tip," He added, shrugging with a smile.
[Track by thinking...telepathic? o0 and yes, a third, but it's a character I've used before. He can be a little stupid sounding at times, but...well, when I create a character sheet for him, you'll find out. whee ]

"Oh great..." She mumbled to herself. Usually she wasn't so negative, but when it was someone who thought rudely of someone she hadn't met yet, then Mayloo didn't think of that person highly at all.
Taking his hand anyways, she placed the money within his grasp. "Seriously, you'll probably manage it must better. Consider yourself the group's accountant." Then, without having taken her hand away, she took hold of his wrist and pulled him foward alittle. "Shall we be on our way"
((yesh, I figured since she can enter someone's body to control them, she might as well be able to read abit of the mind. Telepathic shadow! XD And that's alright, that's the fun in roleplaying, coming up with totally different personalities. Like...Sphinx. I'm not usually a snob, but I can roleplay one ))

[Well, controlling a body would entail entering the mind of the person. 3nodding It's good thinking. So the only way to prevent such is a strong mental wall, per say, or a strong will of resistance, or something like that, right? I mean, If she tried that opn Zevach...she'd probably end up having a nervous breakdown from some of his memories and whatnot. The guy is pure evil, almost. twisted ]
"Well, Let me get my stuff, then we can be," Vence replied, allowing some laughter to slip through. With his other hand, he took the money pouch, hefted it allitle- it had a decent amount in it, from what he could tell- and fr the time being, placed it in his bag. Later he would probably tie it to his belt.
"The group's accountant, ey? I'll try not to spend to frivolously on food," he added jokingly. It was true in a sense, sinse he did like eating, but food was not a priority all the time. Being well equiped was, though.
But my pack was most of what I...we need, he thought, correcting himself.

((well yes, but Vence is at a weakness around Mayloo. =D hehehe Hahaha, this is not a breakdown moment! lol))
Mayloo smiled and nodded wihle allowing him to place the money away. Her hand looked like it was about to fall away once more , but instead it only slid foward to grab his hand.
Her gaze fell upon the ground while blushing once more since she didn't know why she had done that. "Um, yeah, a few meals wouldn't hurt." She said in response to not seem to out of it.
Turning around and using her other hand, she gestured him foward "Now to get your things"

[Hah, more like Mayloo is at a weakness around Vence. whee Or maybe both? o0 Makes the story more interesting, I bet. 3nodding ]
"Yeah, the essentials of life are in my bag," Vence said, grinning. He was also somewhat amused and, at the same time, a little nervous feeling about the whole hand thing. It wasn't that he minded it; not at all, the contrary was true enoguh, but something about it made him feel...a little different. It was hard to explain.
He tried not to show it, but he wasn't sure if he was succeeding or not: Mayloo seemed to react to it differently, with her head towards the ground. Trying to hide something? Well, he wasn't just going to ask, that'd be stupid to do. So, he just went with it and walked forward, towards the town just beyond the castle walls. He allowed the holding hands, feeling that somehow it was...right. Normal-like. It didn't bother him like it might normally have.

((hahaha, nooo!! You found her weakness, I mean Vence, I mean...it's the same thing! Interesting indeed))
"W-why not life itself?" Mayloo said in return while looking up long enough to flash a smile at him. She then realized her hand shook ever so slightly, but it seemed once she caught herself, it stopped.
Before he could notice what pink tint layed upon her face, she looked back down and allowed him to lead her along. It was a good excuse to hold hands in the first place so that it wouldn't seem so weird. Of course she wasn't sure what Vence thought about it, but she tried keeping herself calm.
Eventually, she had the coolness enough to look up again since well, her neck was getting a bit stiff and it was hard to yawn while looking down. "I know I'll definantly have a good rest tonight" Her muffled voice sounded from behind her loose hand covering her mouth.

[wait till Zevach finds out; he'll put it to use quite effectively, I'm sure. twisted confused ]
"Well, I don't think life can fit in a bag," Vence replied, amused at the idea of that being possible. If it was, the world would be much different, he thought.
Vence smiled as she spoke through her yawn. He didn't have to look back to know she was.
"That's good to know. I probably won't too much, but I'll manage," he said, a slight frown, barely there, showing itself. He probably wouldn't for fear of a nightmare, or something. He didn't show it too much, but he wasn't too keen on seeing people die. It brought back memories...terrible memories.
He shook his head lightly, content to not go any further with the thought. There were things down that path that he feared worse than the sight of dead people. things he was glad were left alone.
[heh heh, another hint of Vence's unknown past, that which not be written upon paper....or in this case, pixilized. xp ]

((He shall never find out, unless alittle elven birdy comes across him to snitch))
As if reading his thoughts, she shook her head and replied "The world would be much stuffier wouldn't it?" Her eyes blinked alittle rapidly for a moment to catch the tears that showed after a yawn.
With another refresh smile, she hit her backpack lightly "You'll sleep nicely if I make you the tea I had brought along. It's very soothing, even through the toughest nights" Maybe he had insomnia. There was no way someone so strong could be having bad dreams. They could just fight right back, or so it seemed. Hard outer shells showed nothing of the inside.
Mayloo saw him shake his head while thinking to himself. Who knew what went through his head. She wouldn't dare question for his personal sake.
"So...We there yet?"
((XD Yeah...but it might as well be paper cause it's so smooth, it doesn't look like the pixals that compose it. Yay gaia graphics!))

[Or if he goes to the elf. o0 He could do that, with what dark magic he has.]
"Really now?" Vence asked, regarding the tea factor. He had a fondness for tea, actually, and now was interested if it would actually help. He never got the chance often to have tea; it was a bit pricier in taverns and inns he came across, and water was the next best thing. So, naturally, he almost was looking forward to it.
"I'll definitely have to try it then," Vence said, a smile coming to his face as he glanced back at mayloo.
"We're just about there, too. Around this turn, if I remember correctly," he said. When the street came in sight, the sign that caught his attention made him make a quick turn. The sign held an image of a griffon, with one of it's front eagle-like legs outstretched.
"The Griffon's Talon, if I remember correctly. A decent place, but the prices are slightly higher than I would like. They raised them like everybody else because of the festival, to get more money out of it, and this was the cheapest I could find," Vence explained.

((Well well don't we have a creeper. Just kidding. lol))
Mayloo gave another nod. "Well now that you'll try it you'll have to choose. There's a citrus mix, a classic camoline, and I believe some sort of minted herb too" He would enjoy it all, herbal tea was the best to sleep with in your stomach. It warmed you nose ((whether you can smell or not XD )) and your mouth while making your eyelids close slowly from a sudden lazy feeling.
"Close then?" She said before they made the planned turn to see a sign. It was a weird sign, yet sort of expected when your around a castle. Very myth like. Then again, they had elves, why not griffons?
His explanation seemed to make sense. It was a tourist spot for the moment, so why not use that to your advantage when economy was involved. "Truely cheap for anyone else maybe, not us...well, definantly not me anymore." Her tone was of some relief at the end since it ment she could experiance a working life. See how the other side functioned without the money luxury. "Well, the sooner we get in, the sooner we can rest" Her hand departed from his so that she could go inside the crowded and obliviously happy people.
