Everything to Lose-Everything to Gain (Accepting)

[Zahzi]

"Perhaps your father, or something..?" Deras asked in a curious tone.

 

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Hael just glared down at Deras.
"My real father is nothing more but a cowardly human who hides from everyone, and started my little monthly parent switching trend when I turned 3."  

[Zahzi]

"Exactly! Revenge against him!"

"Deras, enough..." Omazige said with a groan, sitting back down in his chair.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Please. Like anyone gives a damn about me." Hael scoffed, rolling her eyes at Deras.  

[Zahzi]

"He's trying to say maybe that transformation has some sort of anger against humanity because of him..."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

Hael slowly shook her head, sighing heavily at the both of them. "That thing was angry even before him. It never really went after him or our home either, or at least.. our home would have the least amount of damage to it, and the b*****d never left the house even when that thing was destroying it."  

[Zahzi]

"Ah...Hard to say then..." Deras said in a pondering tone.

"Guess it's settled then. You're going to have to stay here."

Meanwhile, deep in the infernal plain of the Netherworld, a dark figure sat in a chair with his hand covering half of his face in a sign of boredom.

A demon walked toward the man with an obvious hue of fear.
"L-Lord Recht...O-one of the scouts we sent to the human world was killed while on patrol."

Recht looked over at him, an expression of boredom still encompassing his face.
"And?" he asked, clearly not caring about the dead demon.

"It means we might be dealing with another attack from the humans!"

"And?" Recht asked again, still not intimidated.

"B-but my lord!"

"Enough." Recht said, reaching into the liquid inside his mask and pulling out a small, yellow creature and throwing it at the demon.

The demons screams pierced through the entire area...Yet no one seemed to be unnerved...Even when the screaming stopped abruptly.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I think it's safe to assume though this thing hates the two of you now.." Hael groaned, rubbing the scratch on her forehead.

"It wasn't the humans." A voice spoke up as a pair of eyes glared up at Recht. "It was only one being. A Half-Breed. A shape shifting one as well. It seems the little halfa has been causing trouble among the humans where ever she goes with this little transformation of her's."

"My own.. 'scouts' report this Half-Breed is the reason your scout was taken out."  

[Zahzi]

"...I claim self-defense." Omazige said, raising his hand.

"A shifter?" Recht asked, looking over at her.
"Then it's right in your personal alley..." he said, tapping his fingers on the mask, creating a clicking sound.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"I think if it could talk, it'd claim hunger.."

"It's my own creation to." Kagu scoffed in disgust. "Stole some of my best souls too. It's the one though it used to kill your scout that has my attention though.."  

[Zahzi]

"...Would have found it hard to eat me."

"Oh yes...Your beloved souls..." Recht said with a dark laugh.

"Perhaps you would want to go out and fix this little problem then..?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"..I've vomited up shards of wood, so I think it's safe to say it's eaten houses before.."

"Depends." Kagu glared more at him. "Will you give me back the soul you stole if I get rid of this half-breed?"  

[Zahzi]

"You'd probability choke on me~" Deras said in a tune.

Recht just looked over with a smirk.
"I make no promises...But, I might be nice if you do a good job."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"You're not that big..." Hael said with a glare. "To my understanding, that thing can dwarf just about anything."

Kagu gritted her teeth together. Out of all the children she had, he to take the only ONE her scythe even liked. All the others were rejected by it when she tried to pass the scythe onto them. Then she finally gets one who doesn't get sent flying across the room and he comes along and steals the soul, leaving her nothing but an empty sack of flesh and bone rotting in her basement like some zombie.
"...I'm holding you to your word, Recht." She said bitterly, before taking her leave.  

[Zahzi]

A demon watched her leave before looking at Recht.
"...Are you going to give her the soul, my lord..?"

"And give away the only thing that binds her to my service? Where is the logic there..?" Recht answered with a smirk.

"Like Omazige wouldn't grab onto the inside of the throat if needbe..?"
