Spooky Artificial Ruins

Auron walked up in front of the senseii and bowed deeply and said, "I am deeply honored to be your student senseii, and unlike Tadashi, you may call me whatever you wish". Some might call this behavior that Auron was displaying "sucking up", but in reality, it was part of Auron's culture to respect his elders and his teachers. After all, the Ryoku family was well known for there honor.

Rin turned to Tadashi after he introduced himself, "Yeah Rin is alright. Its nice to meet ya Tadashi" he said with a friendly tone. He turned to the old man after he messed up his name, "Its Rin, Sensei" he said in an agitated tone, not only was his sensei colorblind he was also an old hermit with a hearing problem. After the old man gestured for the team to follow, Rin did as he was told and slowly followed the man.

For a brief moment, the old man stopped. He turned around to address the genin.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Musashi. You too, Grin. And uh..."
He pointed to Auron for a brief moment. Indeed, the old man had forgotten the boy's name. He quickly changed the subject.
"Well, at any rate, we should probably get to training, eh? You kids are so restless to fight these days, ain't ya? Might as well do it right."
Once more, he turned around and began to walk again, slowly, chuckling like before.
"Kufufufufufufufu..."
The genin would get a strange feeling with this chuckle. It was clear that the old man knew something they didn't. Unfortunately for them, when they found out, whenever that would come to pass, it would be too late.

Tadashi's eye brow twitched in irritation "This guy can't be serious and whats with Auron he has more of a back bone then he is showing thats so not like him. " Tadashi's thought were bad but he kept them to himself as he fallowed the old man.

'Its Rin, you stupid old man' Rin thought but didn't say out loud, he wasn't interested in making a bad impression. He continued to follow the old man, keeping a close eye on his team mates so that he could learn things about them, such as how they act or move and such, though he would be unable to truly know them until he was able to spar with them, which he looked forward to.

As Auron followed the group from the rear, Auron began to feel something. Call it his innate sense to detect danger, but Auron felt very strange, as if danger was around the corner. Catching up to Tadashi, Auron whispered in his ear, "Something doesn't feel right, I think this old man isn't as fragile as he is letting on, and I think he is leading us into something. Be on your guard". With that, Auron slowly fell back, all the while taking off his gloves, revealing his glowing blue veins, preparing for the worst.

Tadashi took in Auron's warning and try to show no sign of fear though he almost couldn't contain his excitement. He leaned to Auron's ear "It could be a transformation jutsu or something but I don't want to waste me Sharingan but you should warn Rin to just in case." Tadashi ran up front next to the old man. If there was going to be a fight he wanted to be the first one in it. He couldn't a smile.

Rin noticed Auron's falling back and felt that something was amiss, the only reason someone would back away is they felt threatened or they new that their enemy was better than they were. Rin looked at the old man and noticed as Tadashi ran to the mans side. Obviously Tadashi was the risk taker of the group and he appeared to want to be the first to test the old mans skills. Rin backed away to where Auron was walking, "Are you afraid of the old man?" he asked in a low voice

The old man, though he did not acknowledge it, noticed everything the genin did, and was able to interpret their intentions from their actions. From Tadashi's running, the old man was able to surmise that the genin was excited. Auron, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. Once Auron fell back, it was obvious to him that he was able to sense the upcoming danger. And then there was Rin, who appeared to be worried about his teammate, to some degree.
It didn't matter, however. While this did help the old man get to know his genin, they could be as cautious or as excited as they wanted to be. It still wouldn't stop what would happen soon. For now, the old man simply continued to think of random, stupid names to call the genin, under the guise of senility. Being old was great.
Suddenly, the old man stopped. He, as well as the genin, would find themselves in a circle drawn on the ground. He let out one last chuckle before he spoke.
"Kufufufufufufufu... well, Larry, Kwang, Izumo, are you ready to begin your training?"
He asked as he stood in front of them. Frankly, it was a rhetorical question. They would go through this training whether they liked it, or not.

'Damn you, you senile old man, get my name right' Rin thought but once again did not utter. When the old man stopped and asked if they were ready to begin their training, Rin's spirit suddenly lifted. The sensei could call him whatever he wanted at this moment he could not be annoyed, "Yeah, lets do this" he said with little enthusiasm, even though he was quite anxious to begin.

Auron stood up straight and crossed his arms, still aware of upcoming danger. Staring straight into the old man's eyes, Auron said, " I am ready to begin the training senseii". Since he was standing besides Rin, Auron answered his question by saying, " I'm not afraid of him, but cautious. If you were wise, you would be cautious as well, something is wrong here, be on guard".

Tadashi's heart started pounding at his the old mans words. The excitement of a fight was driving him mad to get started. He didn't even get angered but the fact that the old man said his name wrong and didn't make any smart remarks he was far to excited and kept to himself . The only thing that gave away his feelings were the shaking of his body and the smile that crept across his face.

Rin turned to Auron as he spoke and once Auron finished speaking he nodded in understanding, "I see" he said, his excitement for battle fading away as he raised his guard. He figured rushing straight into battle would be a stupid thing even if his opponent was as old as the dirt he stood upon. He noticed Tadashi was shaking a bit and the smile that appeared on his face, let Rin know that he was about to make the same mistake he was about to, but someone needed to be a guinea pig and test the mans skills so he said nothing.

"....Good to hear."
The old man replied. Perhaps by now, the genin would have noticed that he didn't chuckle this time. That was always a bad sign.
Before their very eyes, the old man would seem to disappear, body flickering towards a large altar, quite a ways away. There, he would sit, crossing his legs as he gestured for the genin to come get him.
With that, the old man sat and meditated. After all, that was the key to success.

"What your our opponent?" Tadashi laughed and actually became a little depressed at the thought that this was all the fight he would get.
