i would go for the misunderstood hero for the fact that they tend to be the next villain in the plot
falling asleep on a bed of spikes or falling asleep on a bed that had a dead body in it for a week (the second one really did happen once[it isn't a urban legend eek ])

Building, because you just go SPLAT and not feel it because of the rush you are in in order to do something like that.

Tell a person you like them but get rejected in a bad way or keep it inside and let it eat at you?
