It took Rini a moment to realize that Saotome was speaking to her again, so stunned over the news he had accidentally given her. She blinked several times, tearing her gaze away from Luna. "Huh? Oh, it's beautiful Hya-san! I don't think I've had anything so pretty before. I love it!" She gave him as bright a smile as she could manage, given the circumstances. Yun and Luna were getting married?!

Her mind reeled, torn between many emotions. On the one hand, she was thrilled and happy for them, even though she had not known either of them for very long. Luna she had grown close to during training, true, and Yun would soon follow suit, but still. Training . . . what would this mean for her training? Rini felt a stab of guilt at the somewhat selfish thought, but she could not help but wonder what would change concerning herself once the two of them were married.

A thousand different scenarios whirled through her thoughts, and so taken -- and somewhat overwhelmed -- was she that she hardly noticed when Saotome pressed the crystal heart into her hands. That was . . . until her hands started to go numb. Startled from her thoughts, Rini squeaked and fumbled with the heart for a moment before cradling it carefully so that there was at least one layer of cloth between her skin and the surface. "That's cold!"

Luna looked at Hya "If you do intend to bring violence with you, I am perfectly capable of defending this dojo and my student as is Yun, you will be safe." Then she shot him a look of annoyance as Hya had ruined the surprised, she sighed but was still graceful and said "Rini, I wished to tell you myself, but yes, me and Yun are engaged and are to be married quiet soon." She took the arm of her fiance Yun and said "we have been together for so long though it feels like were married already" she bumped his side making him stumble. She said to Rini "The wedding preperations are mostly taken care of, so I will train with you as much as I can before the wedding, so prepared to be pushed to your limits Rini. You might be learning two jutsu at a time, are you prepared for that?" She could see the worried look on Rini's face, could tell her thoughts and walked over to the young girl and called Kira her wolf. Jumping on and putting Rini behind her she said to Yun and Hya, "We will be right back, I must talk to her myself. Play nice now." At this Kira sped off rowards the waterfall on the edge of the dojo's area.

Saotome took the scolding. He was surely sorry for ruinging the suprise."Rini, enough! These two great shinobi getting married is a gracful blessing. This means their lives will be one. They are still going to train you and they are both your teachers. repsect that!" he didn't mean to scolder her too, but he wanted to get her to still be repsectful and understand."alrighty, see yah guys." Saotome turned to Yun."Sorry for that, Rini just needs a pep talk."

Rini smiled softly at her teachers as Luna talked, taking note of how -- well -- comfortable they seemed with each other. Luna had slipped her arm into Yun's as if it was the most natural thing in the world, and really, it seemed to be just that. Again, she felt a slight pang of guilt about her previous actions, and tried to hide it by nodding and opening her mouth to confirm Luna's question. Before she could speak, though, Saotome's voice snapped out and froze her in place.

The genin flinched at his words -- harsh that they were -- and felt the tell-tale heat in her eyes.Was it shame she felt, or just more guilt? She was happy for Luna and Yun. Really, she was! There was just so more to it than that, and it was hard to explain -- to put in words. How could she ever hope to? She bowed her head, shoulders falling slightly limp. Thus, when Luna pulled her aside and up onto Kira's back, the heart of ice she had cradled in the crook of her arm slipped free and fell, shattering against the ground.

Rini did not look back at it -- or Saotomi, for that matter -- as Kira carried her away with Luna. His words -- his scolding -- had hurt a great deal. How could he think that she did not respect her teachers? How could he think that she did not agree that their decision was a happy blessing? She did! She did! Still, she felt the cold grip of dread when she and Luna were alone again. Did Luna think the same thing? Was she upset with Rini, too? The girl kept her head bowed, waiting for her sensei to speak.

When they arrived at the top of the waterfall Luna took Rini off and jumped off herself walking to the edge of the side of the waterfall. Facing her student she said "Rini, just like the water and rocks support each other to make a wonderous waterfall, I support you to make something truely wonderous. It was not Hya's place to yell at my student like that, and for that I am truelly sorry, but he is somewhat right in his scolding. I will always be your teacher for however long you need me, this is true." She looked at the gennins eyes, "Tell me, what are your fears of me and Yun getting married, so that I may put them at ease."

Rini glanced up at her teacher and then down at the ground. For a moment, she was silent, but then she muttered, "It's stupid, really . . ." The girl shifted uncomfortably, trying to find some way to evade this conversation, but coming up empty-handed. So, instead, she took a breath and started talking softly and meekly.

"A-at first I was scared that you'd be so caught up in each other that you'd forget about me, but that's not true. I know you'd never do that, and to be fair, you've known each other longer than you've known me, so if anything . . . I'm the one that's the distraction." She bit her lip for a moment. "So, then I was scared you'd think that too eventually -- th-think I'm not worth your time and --"

Rini cut herself off, fisting her hands slightly. After another breath, she started again. "I'm sorry. I know it's not fair thinking that and not true at all. I'm happy for you two, really I am!" She lifted her gaze to stare earnestly at her teacher. "I can see he makes you happy and that you two really love each other. It's just . . ." Her eyes dropped again. "I've never really had any friends . . . just my books and studies . . . so this is all so new to me . . . I don't know what to do or what to make of this, and I'm scared I-I'll lose you both after I just f-found you."

Saotome was kinda tired and sta next to the stream. He looked at the water."Was i too strict, or was i just not very good at what i was doing. I think i need to rethink what i say before things turn for the worst."He felt bad because i he fel that yelling at Rini was not a good thing to do. He looked down at the fish in the stream. She is as gental and fragil as them. He needed to take Rini more serious and not treat her anyway he wants. She of course is a Shinobi of the Mist, and must be given full respect. He knew that interrupting a private conversation was bad, buit he needed to apologize. he ran over to where Rini and Luna where.

"Rini, i know it was not my place to yell at you, that is your sensei's right only. I was a past sensei to you, but your new sensei is infront of you. She is the one to scold you not me. Please, Rini...Luna, forgive my actions, and i shall leave you two to your training." Saotome Bowed infornt of both of them. He was kinda emabressed, since he never ever bowed to anyone before. He then waited for a reply.

Rini glanced up at her teacher and then down at the ground. For a moment, she was silent, but then she muttered, "It's stupid, really . . ." The girl shifted uncomfortably, trying to find some way to evade this conversation, but coming up empty-handed. So, instead, she took a breath and started talking softly and meekly.

Luna sighed and looked at Rini "Rini,Rini, Rini, you will never be a distraction to me, you are my student, and you are my friend. Of course I will have to be tough on you from time to time, but thats because I want you to be the best medic ninja you can be, and I will push you to your limits to do so. But dont you EVER think that your not worth my time." Luna smiled "Rini, will you be the maid of honor in my wedding?'

For not the first time in just a handful of days, Rini felt a mirage of emotions sweep through her. She was relieved, embarrassed, stunned, and overjoyed all within the span of a few seconds. A bright grin swept over her face, even as tears prickled in her eyes. "Yes, sensei, of course!" she cried, darting forward and throwing her arms around the woman's neck in a tight hug. After a moment, she stepped back and bowed, still grinning. "I would be honored."

When Rini straightened, she noticed Saotome's approach, and her smile faltered slightly. Still, no matter what he said to her -- to them -- she doubted he would able to ruin her current high. Her first reaction to his apology -- and bow??? -- escaped her lips before she could sensor it. "Who are you, and what have you done with Hya-san?"

Covering her mouth and stifling a giggle, the genin fought to speak with a more serious tone, nodding to him. "It's alright Hya-san. I understand and -- I forgive you. You were my old sensei, after all and -- I guess old habits die hard, ne?" She shifted closer to Luna and looked up at her with a slightly smaller smile that did not make her cheeks hurt so much.

"If you only knew what i have been through, maybe we would come to a better understanding." He was happy and didn't want things to fall, and he was for sure going to make the best impression on the Mist again, wanting to come back to the mist. says jsut weren't the same when he could not be in the mist. most of the people dont accept him back, and he still has some old friends that will take him into there homes. He now tooks some steps back and turned around."Well, i guess this will clear thigns up." He headed back to yun.

Rini skidded into her room in the dojo, all but falling to her knees beside her bed. Hiccuping slightly and fighting back tears that refused to stop coming, she groped under her bed for the small box of supplies that she had used to make the dreamcatcher. Snagging it, she dragged it out and opened it before turning her attention to the broken object in her other hand.

Drawing a shaking breath, the girl carefully unwrapped the present to survey the damage. Her heart immediately sank at the sight of the snapped wood, broken web, and torn leather. How was she supposed to fix this? "I have to try," she croaked to herself, faintly aware of the sound of wings as Aki landed on her window sill.

Still shuddering slightly with broken sobs, Rini set to work trying to undo the damage. She would have to re-weave the entire web, she realized with a twist of her stomach. It was almost as if she had to start from scratch . . . and maybe it would be better to do just that, but how was she supposed to pull that off? It had taken her hours stretched across several days to make this one, and she had been so proud of it too . . .

Aki keened softly, and Rini shook herself. After sucking in a deep breath, she set to work under the watchful eye of her golden eagle.

the real saotome reached the home, and wondered where Rini was at. He then her someone talking, and then walked to the room were he heard the voice come from. he knocked on the door to her room."I was just wondering if everything was alright Rini. you ran out of the reception hall in tears."

The new hoop was bound but the web slipped off before she could finish it. Again. And again. With each try, Rini's devastation grew. Her hands fell limp as she stared down at the un-finished dream catcher in her lap, hiccuping again. "It's no use, Aki," she sighed, biting her lower lip in an attempt to keep the tears from beginning to flow again. "I -- I can't fix it . . ."

The eagle ruffled his feathers, shifting its sharp gaze from the girl to her door as a knock sounded. Rini froze and stiffened slightly. Please don't let it be Luna. No. It was Saotome. She sniffled and wiped the tears off her face -- then groaning at the sight of her make-up smeared on the cloth -- the torn cloth. She choked back another sob, barely (and somewhat bitterly) managing, "No. Why would anything be alright?"
