Vaul Moon
Vaul heard her answer and was glad she was willing to answer some of his question. "I have been wondering why you are eager to help others yet chose to live away from them" he said after he was finishes eating his mean. Reaching out he placed his mas on once more and turned to face her. A few thoughts ran through his mind as he let his legs hand over the edge of the bed. There where also other things he wished to ask he but he could save those questions for another for later on.

Marie Marie was shocked for a minute and unsure how to anwser. It wasn't the first time someone had asked her that question. But she had never really told them the truth. She had always made up something on the spot that seemed believable so they would leave her alone. But she decided not to lie to Vaul, after all he had been honest with her so it was the least she could do. Besides, she felt like finally telling someone the truth. "I never felt like I belonged, everyone had their life planned out. I didn't like the plans for my life. I wanted something different. And eventually I just got tired of pretending so I left. Been in the woods ever since.I can be myself there" She explained looking down at her hands a bit. They were rough to the touch from working with them, but she liked that about her hands. She thought of the village over. Her parents lived there, of course she hadn't gone there in a long time. And was hoping when her and Vaul continued their journey they could take the route that avoided her parents because she just wasn't sure she was ready for another arguement.

Vaul listened to her explanation and knew full well where she was coming from. "That is understandable and I will agree with you. Living in the moment is more enjoyable then having every little detail planned out" he said. Once more he was being honest with her seeing as he had no reason to lie and it seemed she felt the same way about that. A few thoughts crossed his mind as he watched her closely and he knew something was causing her trouble. "Something on your mind Maire" he asked in a curious tone.

Marie Marie looked up at him and let out a breath she hadn't been aware of holding. It was a nice feeling to know someone understood where you were coming from, and where you wanted to go. "Yeah, my parents are in the next village over." She replied and then shook her head and stood up. "How are you feeling by the way?" She asked turning around so she was facing him. "I don't mean health wise, I mean about everything else. I forget sometimes that this is not your homeland and I just wanted to ask and see if you were okay?" She stumbled across the words half way because she wasn't sure how to say what she was trying to say. It wasn't the easiest asking someone if they were homesick.

Vaul watched her closely and listened to her speak. It seemed she was not looking forward to meeting with them if they would ever meet them. A few thoughts wondered about her mind and she turned to face him. He was about to answer her question but she added something more to it. Giving it some thought he was not sure what he felt at this moment. "I miss my people and what remains of my family but I have to stay here until I find something to help them" he said. A moment later he gestured for her to sit next to him for the time being. He needed the comfort of having another person near by and she was the closest thing he had to friend in these lands."Other then that I am scared to be honest" he said before letting out a sigh.

Marie Marie went over and sat down next to him like he motioned for, her shoulder brushed hers, but she was more focused on what he had said to really think about it. She looked over at him her face scrunching up a bit like it usually did when she was thinking really hard. "I don't know if this helps, but I'm here, and I'm going to stay with you until you find what you are looking for, I promise." She said reaching her hand over to place it atop his. She was hoping it comforted him a bit. Missing someone was painful, and she realized he must be scared as well, for himself and his people. She caught what he said next and turned her head to the side slightly like a bird might do. "Scared to be honest about what?" She asked curious.

Vaul Moon
Feeling her hand on his own did make him feel safer and he relaxed a bit before he heard her next question. "A number of things" he said as he turned his he slightly and his eyes met with hers. "For my life seeing as the black scrawl will take me soon enough and the people here have been less then friendly with the exception of you" he said. A few thoughts crossed mind and he leaned against her for some support. He was getting a bit dizzy at this moment but it should fade soon. "And my people might not even hear for me. Plus the pressure I am under is just draining" he added. It might seem like he was spilling his guts at this moment but she was the only he trusted here. A soft sigh came from him and he was not sure what to make of him self right now.

Marie Marie felt sadness at what he said, it wasn't fair, he shouldn't have to go through all this. More then anything she wanted to help him. She listened though as he continued. When he finished speaking she knew what she needed to do. "I can get you to see the witches' council faster if we go to my parent's village. My mother used to be an apprentice for one of the witches and she can call in a favor and get you to see them right away. I'm going to make sure you surive, you and your people." The determination rang through her voice, she felt protective of him and at the same time, like he was helping her as well. Around him she could be herself, and didn't have to worry about being shunned for it. "I might be able to help you with the tired part as well, I know a spell that gives energy, I've only done it once before but I could do it again if you would like." Marie had the strength that a lot of witches' didn't but most of the time she kept it locked away refusing to accept it as a part of her. But for the first time in years she was eager to let the magic out, if it would help him.

Vaul Moon
Vaul rested his head against her shoulder at this moment and pondered a few thoughts. Listening to her speak he lifted his head back up and turned to face her. His eyes seemed light up as she spoke and he was more then excited that she would be able to speed up the processes to see the witched. "Unfotunately not much can be done for my survival but I am glad to know I will have you by my side" he said before reaching out to grab a hold of her. His dizziness was getting worse and he would seek some rest shortly. "Although will it be any problem for you to deal with your parents" he asked in a curious tone. Upon hearing her offer for a spell to increase he energy he began to wonder if it was a wise idea. "Cast after I am done resting if you could" he said as he leaned forwards slightly. He pressed his forehead to her shoulder and he was still feeling quite dizzy. "I think it would be best if I try to get some sleep" he said in a soft voice.

Marie Marie wrapped her other arm around Vaul's waist and smiled grimly. "The trouble with them is worth it if it means helping you. Your life is worth a lot more to me then some stupid fight with my parents.""You're right, get some sleep. We'll try it when you wake up." She stood up gently so as not to cause him to fall from the sudden movement and kept one hand on him in case he did fall forward. Though she enjoyed just sitting and talking with him, she knew there would be more times to do that, and right now he really needed to rest. She went back over to the window and stood looking out, thinking of other ways she could help him.

Vaul Moon
Vaul felt one of her arms wrap around his waist and he caught her grim smile. "That means a lot to me" he said as he looked back over at her. He was glad to have met a person like her while he was here and he did feel some connection with her but he was unsure where it would lead but he stopped thinking about such things at this moment. "I will see you tomorrow and wake me in the morning if you could" he said as he felt her moving about. She was holding him up and he leaned to on his side before rolling onto his back. His eyes where closed quickly and he went to sleep quickly. There was also another bed in the room and they would be spending another night together.
((Time skip to morning if you wish. As well how have you been as of late.))

Marie Marie opened her eyes and looked out the window. The sun was up, and shining right down on her face, which explains why she felt halfway blinded. She sat up groggily and looked around. It took her a moment to remember where she was but when she did she got up and trodded down the stairs to where she had smelled food. She walked over to Adam and glanced at him, it was too early and she didn't feel much like talking so she simply thought what she wanted and grinned when he put it out for her. She nodded and then went back upstairs setting it down near the bed. Then she walked over to Vaul. She shook him lightly trying to wake him, "Vaul, it's morning," She said in a voice loud enough to wake him,but not loud enough to startle him. ((I been good, just reading mostly how about you?))

Vaul Moon
Vaul mask was loosely fit on his face seeing as he normally slept with it off but seeing as he had to company of another was forced to keep it on for the past few nights. He seemed to be in a peaceful state at this moment and was not bothered by the sun the entered he room. He was sleeping on his other side and his back was turned to Marie. Feeling him self being shaken he rolled over slightly and this is when his mask slipped off his face and landed on the ground with a thud. His face was exposed and it was much like the rest of him rather lean and slim in shape but it was also deformed. Areas of skin where darker and covered in with the black scrawl. His lips where also off his left eye socket had a weird shape to it. "Hey" he said in a groggy manner. You could tell he was not pleased about what just happened but it was an accident after all and not much could be done about that. Leaning over he reached for his mask and slowly brought it up to his face.

Marie Marie froze when his mask fell off, she hadn't meant for that to happen, and a gasp left her lips not because of how he looked but because she know understood just how severe his case of the black scawl was. Without meaning to she felt tears come to her eyes. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen." She said sitting down on the bed. She was trying to stop the tears before the fell over. She wondered now just how much time he had left before it took the rest of him, and she winced at the thought. She hadn't cried in a very long time, not since before she moved away from her home but she felt like it now. "Does it hurt?" She asked quietly, trying to keep her voice from catching.

Vaul Moon
Vaul saw that she was crying and he did not understand why she was in such a state. "It is fine it was an accident and nothing more Marie" he said in a calm voice as he sat him self up. Placing the mask on his face it clicked back into placed and he reached over to her resting and hand on her shoulder so he could move around. Soon enough he was sitting right next to her and he wrapped an arm around her back grabbing her other shoulder. He too wondered how long he had left to live but his life should be coming to an end soon. Although he would not mention any of this to her. "Yes and everyday it is the same or worse but I have learned to live with it" he said in a clam voice. "Now please stop crying" he said as he brought her a little closer to his body. He might be sick but he could at least offer her some comfort.
((Just noticed you OOC and I am doing alright for the most part. A little on the tried side and feeling a bit down but that is about it. As well this will probably be my last post for the night.))
