Wolf's Den {CLOSED; DO NOT POST}

He smiled as he turned leaving his tail down in front of her legs

She laughed, running quickly after him, bumping into him as she passed and whipping him with her tail. "Slowpoke!"

He laughed "Hey!" he barked as he quickly caught up "Not cool!"

"You wanna see cool?" She asked, running after him. She got up on two legs, flipping over him and regaining her lead.

He growled as he rushed forward, as he caught up he jabbed at her side "Screw it " he laughed

"Ah, so you wanna play?" She asked, smirking.

He grinned as he ran faster "Yes, lets play" he joked

He pulled his beak out of the dead unicorn, and bolted down another chunk of organ meat, then rested his head on top of the dead stallion and belched. He'd ripped into the meal with a passion, and he now doubted that he could fly, given that he had to have, when he thought about it, eaten close to a hundred pounds of meat.

- Moderation, Bakher...must do it in moderation....-

He lifted his head and backed away from the big carcass. He flopped down with a sigh, and looked at his kill again; as ravenously as he'd eaten, there was still a LOT of unicorn left.

He suddenly noticed that he'd forgotten to extract its horn, and sighed; more work to do, plus he'd need to sharpen his talons after this- unicorn bone was tough to cut. He dragged himself to his feet, then went over and began the gory work of cutting it out.

Nabila smirked, slowing her run til she was behind him. Then she sped up, her claws out as she pounced, giving a loud roar and landing on him.

HE growled as he stopped suddenly lying back trapping her under him as he grinned

"I see you've gotten better, Shadow," She laughed, poking him in the nose. "But not good enough!" She shifted her weight, flipping him over and planting her claws firmly in the ground next to his head.

He grinned as he used a claw to poke at her side before he licked her "I guess" he joked

She gave a squeal, rolling off of him. "Hey don't do that!"

He laughed "What you don't like it when I like you?" he asked grinning

(for some UNKNOWN reason, Unless I hit the "stop loading" button, it keeps forwarding me to Photobucket when I was trying to post here...anyone have any idea as to why it would do that?)

Bakher rolled the thick shaft of ivory in his paws. Unicorn Ivory was rare, and damn near impossible to break. He tucked the shaft away in one of the pouches he wore on a minimal harness, then looked up as he thought he heard something, out in the forest.

The wolves, maybe?

He cocked his head and flicked his ears as he listened, carefully. He waited, and was about to return to his meal when he heard canine laughter, in the distance. It WAS a wolf-

- Make that two wolves...-
He thought as he concentrated. It looked like his neighbors were coming to him- convenient. He briefly considered simply staying silent ans seeing if they were good enough to folow the scent of unicorn blood to him, then decided against it.

He sat back on his haunches and cleared his throat, then called out into the forest.
"Hello! anyone out there? If you're looking for a meal, its over here!"
