The Amber a few weeks ago would've kept her distance from Mike, but lately she was beginning to grow more and more dependent on him. Currently, he was like a bright ray of sunshine in her life. In fact, it was him and Glee that actually gave her a purpose to go to school each day. Upon hearing his little car story, Amber honestly laughed. "You're joking right? You crashed two cars?" She repeated a hint of laughter still in her voice. She seriously could not believe that he crashed two cars. That was just unbelievable. "Hmm... It's kind of good we're taking the bus. I wouldn't want to be in a car with you driving," she teased.
Jay's face split into a smile hearing her order. He still found it amusing when she did stuff like that, but this time it really was funny because he could actually hear the excitement in her voice. It was something the auditorium did. It made everyone excited and motivated. Even he loved the auditorium due to the how the piano sounded in the auditorium. The echoes as he played made the sound hollow, thus gave him the goal to make the piano sound full of life despite the hollow base sound.

Mike rubbed his nose. "Impressed?" he grinned, then explained, "I drove my mom's car first. Crashed it. Then I drove my dad's. I crashed that too. Actually no. Someone else crashed into me." Mike mimed driving motions. "Oh hey, come on. I'm an excellent driver."
Lynn sung. She loved how her voice resonated in the auditorium. She heard Rachel sing and it only made her want to sing more. Lynn was always competitive. Rachel had such perfect control of her voice. What's more, was that Rachel's pitch was dead-on and her range was much larger. Lynn did not look at Jay as she sung. She imagined a crowd. The only crowd she ever was in front of, was brainiacs, math fanatics or science geeks. A crowd applauding because they loved you, you for your emotion was much different than a crowd loving you for your brain. Hello, you could technically live without your frontal lobe. But you couldn't live if you didn't have your parietal lobe. Or your temporal or your occipital lobe.

"Sure you are," Amber laughed, but then paused thinking for a moment. "Wait a sec. How did someone crash into you? Did you run a red light?"
Jay smiled as he played. For some odd reason he loved the way Lynn sung. Her voice wasn't exactly like Rachel's perfect, but there was just something about it that matched. Perhaps it was the fact it was imperfect unlike the rest of her. Or maybe it was the fact that she showed more passion and life in her singing and it wasn't just some sort of fake facade that she put up. It was real.

Mike stood up. It was time to get off. When they were off, Mike took Amber's hand again as they walked to his house. "No, they ran the red light," Mike defended himself, "Seriously! Well, 'kay the first crash I was ever in was because I was careless. The second was not my fault."
Lynn finished and sucked in the auditorium air. Then she turned to Jay. "Okay. I think we have it. I guess we should go," Lynn said.

"Really? I find it hard to believe now," she laughed lightly. "Or maybe you're just bad luck?" They entered his house, Amber taking in the scene, though not really seeming like she was. This was the place Mike lived in. It was strange. It was almost like her own home. Perhaps jocks and Cheerios weren't so different after all.
Jay actually did not realize it immediately, rather, he was dozed off in his own little world. Only when Lynn began to talk did he realize. "Oh, yeah. I suppose so. Unless you want to practise again?" Jay suggested then added, "I say 'unless' 'cause we wouldn't want to overwork your voice, would we now?"

Mike rummaged around in his pocket to find his key. He pulled out some money and a phone, but no key. He then checked his backpack, but found nothing. "Man. I must of forgotten my key at home again. Lucky," Mike grinned, lifting the welcome mat, "My mom knows I forget often." He then unlocked the door and led her in. "Well, welcome." It was a middle-class house, one not to big and not too small. It had two levels and a basement. The floors were dark rosewood and immediately to the left was stairs leading up. "You hungry?" he asked her, as he let his backpack fall onto a kitchen chair, "And don't worry. My parents don't come home 'til later."
Lynn picked up her school bag. "No. We should go," Lynn replied, leaving curtly. Lynn had left quickly because she realized something. After seeing Mr. Foreman today, she found she was a person who needed someone to accept her. The moment they did, she would love them. And that was exactly what she realized. She liked Jay. But, did she really like him? Or was it because after what happened with Mr. Foreman, he was the first person to be nice to her. She concluded she probably liked Jay because he was nice to her, because after all, even though she was cold to Mr. Foreman, she couldn't help feel the tingly affection to him in her heart.

Amber removed her shoes placing them neatly to the side as she followed after Mike. "Erm... I'm not that hungry..." She answered fixing his backpack so it sat neatly in the kitchen chair rather than looking like it was afraid of diving.
Jay nodded his head and gathered his things. Then they both headed out of the auditorium. Jay turned to the direction of his locker seeing that teacher from earlier. The one that gave off these bad vibes to him at the least.
Greg Foreman was a little annoyed that Lynn declined his offer. Nevertheless, he had headed to his original destination, the staff room. After quite some time, Foreman decided he should get to that work, he headed out and down the hall to his classwork. He spotted Lynn and that stupid Jay. It was lucky though. "Oh, Lynn you finished early?" Mr. Forman asked his eyebrows raised by the coincidence of seeing her yet again.

"Okay, we'll start right to it then," Mike nodded, leading her down to the basement. The basement was cooler and dark, but as Mike flipped on the lights, the wide clean space of hardwood illuminated with welcome. There were large mirrors on the wall. Mike's dance practice place was like a mini dance studio. "Like it? Took 4 months of renovating the place. Me and my dad installing everything. I got tired of dancing in my room," Mike revealed, "Truthfully, this is much better."
"Y-yes," Lynn stuttered, surprised to see Mr. Foreman again. She then composed herself and repeated more firmly, "Yes. I am finished." She had completely forgot that Jay was right besides her and was already intoxicated by Mr. Foreman. Her eyes relished the sight of him, even more than before. Was it because she had just finished singing and letting all her emotion out that the feeling was ten times more intense? She wasn't sure.

Amber smiled, laughing a bit at his last comment. She actually found it a little hard to see him just dancing in his room. Probably because of two reasons. One, she only ever saw him dancing in the Choir room and two, she's never seen his room before. Amber surveyed the floor. There wasn't much, obviously, but it gave off a nice feeling. "It's nice," she stated simply as she placed her side bag off in another area that looked very much like an entertainment zone.
Jay blinked a little confused as Lynn walked off with Mr. Foreman. He didn't quite understand what it was, or more so what he was feeling. But, he knew that he didn't quite like what was going on there. It didn't look too good.
Mr. Foreman smiled as he headed off with Lynn to his classroom. So she was still at his fingertips. "Alright, Lynn, I just have some marks I need recorded, it probably won't take you too long," Mr. Foreman told her with his infamous charmed smile.

"Okay," Mike began, striding to the middle of the dance floor, "First, show me what you got. You need to loosen yourself up first." He strode over to the music player and randomly chose a song. It had a good beat and it wasn't hard moving your body to it. "Start dancing," Mike urged, beginning to move to the beat.
"Okay," Lynn agreed, being completely seduced by him. She followed him to his classroom and she sat down to begin recording the marks.

Amber stood there watching him, her eyes slightly wide in confusion. "U-Umm... What exactly do you mean by 'start dancing'?" She asked him. She stood pretty stiffly, her hands curled under her hoodie's sleeves due to the chill of the basement.
Mr. Foreman let Lynn work on the task he gave her for a bit before he headed over leaning over her shoulder. "Ah, you really do work fast... Lynn..." He breathed softly into her ear.

Mike laughed, grabbing her arms and yanking them out of the pockets. He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close. He moved his hips, making her move with him. "Come on! Loosen up!" he laughed, forcing her into a twirl.
Lynn felt shivers crawl up her spine and she closed her eyes, trying to control the wild thumping of her heart. "How, how is you and your fiancee," Lynn changed the subject.

Despite her awkwardness, Amber tried relaxing, mainly through not thinking at all. Because, if she was thinking she would've slid out of his hold, or at least tried to. Dancing was a little bit embarrassing, just the thought of it made her nervous. She took a deep breath trying to match her movement with his. Perhaps she would be more suited for him if she knew how to dance, then perhaps she wouldn't have to stand the moment of him dancing with another girl in his arms.
"Ah, she's alright," Mr. Foreman shrugged simply acting as though his fiancee meant nothing compared to the person he was with at the moment. Smoothly, Mr. Foreman inched closer his cheek almost against hers, in fact it brushed hers just slightly.

Mike laughed, then faced the mirror. "Okay, I'm going to teach you a simple dance sequence. Ready?" Mike announced, beginning to move his feet, "One, two, da da da. You try."
Lynn froze. She was too scared to breath. "Mr. Foreman. Don't," she whispered.

"Uh, alright..." Amber nodded watching him through the mirror. Memorizing stuff came pretty easy for Amber considering she spent quite a lot of her time in the library and all. Taking another deep breath Amber tried out the steps. She started off alright, but then began stumbling as her feet became confused. Oh gosh, dancing was harder than it seemed.
"Don't what Lynn?" Mr. Foreman questioned as though mocking her. He let the warmth of his breath cascade over her cheek sending those sweet shivers across the hill-less field. His hand overlapped hers almost as to relax her. "We've done it so many times already Lynn..." He reminded softly.
